      I had the same though when I purchased my QuinLED-ESP32-AE+ which had the IR built in, but no remote. Now I know. I've purchase these type for remotes for other LED lights that my son lost, and there were no instruction to how to setup the new remotes to connect to the devices.

    Good god I have hundreds of these exact remotes(1st one), I should gather them up and ship them to you, but they are all over the place at the moment. We installed a bunch and it quickly gets super annoying to go from box to box, changing the colors every day so once I got to the job I changed them out for DMX controllers so they can be controlled by software.

    Good evening, sorry, I don't speak English I use a translator. I hope you understand me.
    I found your site while looking to operate the WLED app with a remote control.
    My edit already works with control buttons for the presets. I would like to add a 24-key-grey_ir remote control under json. I managed to modify everything related to color, but I cannot program the 4 gray keys on the right to control presets. I followed your tutorial on this subject, but it doesn't work. I installed Visual Studio Code to be able to modify the code of these gray keys and assign a color, and it works.
    So I'm asking for your help to assign my presets to the remote control.
    I hope you can help me finish my edit. Thanking you for listening. Sincerely.

Using the Sync functions you could have the IR controller function as a transmitter for your controller in the garage.

    Really enjoy your videos, got my permanent holiday lights set up for christmas 2022 from all the useful info on your channel. I have an issue and am curious if you have had a similar issue or maybe even resolved the issue. Im using Alling WS2811 12v leds, esp32 controller, line level shifter, 12v 50amp 600 watt power supply, and a 12v to 5v transformer for the power to the ESP32. First christmas season, no failures. Fast forward to july not even a full year later, I have probably had 16-23 individual pixel failures (changing 2 pixels per failure). This is really eating my lunch trying to understand why. Hoping you have some insight, thanks in advance!

    • @DrZzs
      @DrZzs  Год назад +1

      Could just be a bad batch of pixels. Might be voltage fluctuation from the power supply. Might be moisture getting past the epoxy that's supposed to seal the pixels. Wish I had a more precise answer for you. Sorry.
