if i was ever to live in Ghana this would be one of the places to consider, the well paved streets, the beautiful homes with many plants, the peace, it is just a good place for a guy like me who is quickly approaching retirement age.
The vegetation and temperature in Koforidua makes it an ideal get-away city for a quiet weekend. Foodstuff is also cheap over there. It is not far from Accra or Tema for that matter. Thanks once again Jasmine, for bringing found memories and a beautiful video.
Thanks for showing us the Eastern Region of Ghana, in particular Koforidua. I love that part of Ghana as well as Volta region. I know western and central region are also nice... So many lovely spots in Ghana but love the Eastern Region and bought land there... Love your family home with all that greenery! That's my kind of ideal home setting. I'll definitely take Eastern region over Accra any day! Thanks for sharing.
Koforidua is the most beautiful and serene city in Ghana. This I must say my new favorite video on RUclips. I remember growing up in old estate, close to kenkey factory, we’d go to the metrological service park to play and also parks and gardens. I’d chose my beloved city over any other any day. If you’re looking for a very peaceful city to live in Ghana, Koftown is the place. I never missed a weekend in koftown when became an adult and had to move to Accra because of work. No land land litigation issues in koforidua, you buy it you own it. Land is also very affordable. I wonder why so many people would gamble with their hard earn money just acquire property in Accra. Koforidua is green, it’s clean, road infrastructure is perfect, no traffic jams, less expensive, good schools, perfect weather, great nightlife and wonderful people. Can’t wait to finally go back home after 8yrs in Europe.
Really appreciate this video and enjoyed the ride there with the beautiful countryside scenery. The breadlike treat from Melcom is called Panettone. It is an Italian delicacy usually used to celebrate Christmas season and the New Year in northern Italy. Yay for more videos of Koforidua also land prices will be nice. I love how every house has a food garden or even as in your family’s a farm.
Thanks for sharing - All I can say (remember) is SWERVY roads - I visited both campuses of All Nations University - Impressive programs but no follow thru on project proposal
I love this video. Koforidua is a beauty. Wish I was there in that lush greenery instead a this hot miserable New York City. It’s close to the mountains which will explain why it’s cool
Nice to see you in my home town,am back from uk after 20 years and I love the quietness and the weather ,I saw a lot of places I have been in your video
I really enjoyed this Jasmine. It was a little a adventure. The street food stop, and the . market and the house trees tour was relaxing and felt like I was home.
@ Jasmine hi Chica, you look so pretty in the yellow dress.. You're grandfather farm was sp nice all type of fruit . Fruits & vegetables are so expensive here in the USA.. So glad you, got to go visit family also see a friend.. Thank you, for sharing . Much blessings from 🇺🇸 N.J..
I love Koforidua everything there is green and fresh Jasmine you can consider visiting Bunso Arboretum very nice and interesting things to showcase case about Eastern region as well Great one there l enjoyed watching this video keep it up
That bread is a legendary koftown bread called B FOSTER. It is always been expensive cuz it's special. When it get to Accra you can imagine how much it will be.😇
That chocolate ‘bread' surprised me the first time I tried it. I thought it was sweet like a muffin too but it was just bread like and can be dry as well. The vanilla flavour with the dried mixed fruits is my first choice. Loved this vlog. A new place for us to see with unique names. Had to pause and break the names up in syllables to pronounce it🤣
B foster bread is very expensive. It's been so since. They have a special recipe for it that's why it's heavy. The owners daughter was my senior in high school. Things in koforidua are generally cheap food stuff especially.
Hi princess Jasmine. I had to smile to myself when you said it was quiet there but the birds was so loud I had to turn up my vomiting to hear you. Beautiful place and enjoy your video she use around
Yes Jasmine, the the b-foster bread isn’t overpriced. It’s very heavy unlike the others cos no yeast is added in preparation. Just a slice and you’ll get satisfied, Lol. It stays fresh for so many days. Its very nice as well. It’s actually worth the price…
So many places outside Accra that are cleaner and affordable - Koforidua, Sunyani, Ho, Cape Coast, Akosombo. Yet, a lot of people describe Ghana as if it is only Accra.
Yehhhhh Jasmine welcome to my side Accra is great but Koforidua is really awesome Still planning my trip to the Volta region though 😄 There's so much more to Ghana than Accra
OMG Hahahah that is so funny . I know the girl you were hanging out with Edwina . We live in the same city in Germany . Wooow I can’t believe you did a special trip to my hometown . This will be my fave video
The place is really nice, quiet, organised and clean. And what is more surprising is that my country Seychelles is an Island nation off the East coat of Africa and yet this neighbourhood look so much like many of the neighbourhood here. Even the house design and with the garden at the back with plants like Avocado/coconut/Coco yam/oranges and even the snails although here we don't eat snails. Dope video as always.
Seeing the greenery of Ghana, I'm definitely not going back to Jamaica, I'll be at home in Ghana
And you will in perfect,a lot of West Indian live there, you will love it
Hmmm our home land Ghana is blessed.Ghanaian don't know and appreciate
