So if I have both solar panels plugged into my Jackery and let’s say I have full sun, how long would it take to charge?
I did the same with my finger. I tore the nail off about 2 months ago. I let it go for a few days. I finally got an x-ray, and I splintered the bone in my finger. Be safe. God bless, and I know your dad is looking down on you from heaven, smiling. He's missed very much. ✝️ 🙏

Steps are absolutely awesome and unique. My only concern would the stone corners sticking up at the bottom. My luck, I would stumble and fall and whack my head. Anyone over 70 understands what i mean.😉. In the years I have been watching RUclips videos of all stripes, this build stands at the top of my favorites list.....by a lot.
This was also my first thought - dangerous for your wife and little girl, especially in winter when it might be icy. Handrails? Can you somehow round off the sharp edges or cover them in wood?

Maybe an extension at the back for one more room, relocation of the bathroom and small a tool room may extend our delight in your future episodes; or an underground cellar!

WOW!! The colors in those stones, well it's just beautiful! They didn't cost an arm and a leg, but came very close to costing a finger! The entire place is looking amazing!

Suggestion…consider black wrought iron handrails, for your beautiful steps, bolted to boulders…to match door hinges. Add’s to safety…specially in snow/ice days for Winter? Bet that finger hurts for 2 months. Best wishes..great project! Your Dad is proud!

@@user-ik4fd9ny4b Having taken a few direct hits by sledge hammer while working on drilling rigs, I can tell you, the secondary bumps hurt even more than the initial injury which goes very numb for a while.

Your craftsmanship skills seem to have no limits and are enhanced by your artistic vision. Everything you do is a work of art and this cabin is testament to that. I can almost see your Dads huge smile and the twinkle in his eye as he admires the work you’ve done and believe he is pleased to see you further develop your skills. The steps are beautiful, both elegant and rustic combined and your wife will hopefully be able to easily maneuver them. Are you thinking of adding a railing of some type on one side to give her more stability? Your work is awesome and shows what a determined man can accomplish. Please be careful, don’t want any injuries to keep you and your family from enjoying your creation. May you be blessed with many years of good health to spend and enjoy at your cabin.

Beautiful work on your steps. I really like the contrast of the wood and the stone, and it fits wonderfully with your cabin. As a retired Air Force aircraft maintainer, I've got to say I feel your pain. All you can do is wrap it up and continue with the job. Looking forward to your next project.

It's crazy how there's all of these massive boulders lying around everywhere in that part of North America. It's the same here in northern MN.

I've enjoyed binge-watching your episodes. Wonderful craftsmanship! I see others have pointed out the possible "problem" with the bottom stones of your front steps. I look forward to seeing your solution! Two things you might want to consider for the cabin's interior: 1. I think it would be cool to build a bar that folds down to the wall opposite your kitchen, then include a bar stools. That way you'd could unfold the bar and use it for additional countertop space or a quick place to eat your morning meal. 2. Get rid of the sofa in the loft. You could just as easily have a fold out bed from the wall, and then have it be supported with shelves (some could have cabinet doors) below. After all, if you plan to stay overnight you'll need some place to store your clothes and any change of bedding, correct? Of course, you could always add plastic containers on rollers beneath the bed as a place to store things like that as well. Truly an outstanding build. I know you've made your father proud.
Why keep it simple when you can make it complex? 😁 Your ingenuity and creativity are amazing and admirable.This cabin is a piece of jewellery.

Was hoping that you'd cut off the boulders at the bottom, they look really strange being half flat and half natural. Not to mention the danger of slipping going up or down the stairs and landing on the sharp top of either rock

That was a savage undertaking! You knew that it was a long, hard job that would cost you some tools, but you took up the challenge anyway because those steps will last forever. Rock dust is brutal on motor brushes, it grinds them down in no time. Brushless tools should last much longer in the sharp dust environment.
A true professional, every step, every action of yours shows that you are meticulous, skillful, have an extremely flexible and sharp mind. I admire you very much.
