And this cabin, from clearing land, peeling logs (the hard way and the easy way), stone the loss of your mom and then your dad. You haven’t had an easy run but you have a fine cabin to make your own memories in and they sure would be proud no doubt.
I remember watching your Dad flawlessly cut the flashing for around the dormers and commenting on how it was pure artwork. You have clearly inherited your Dad's craftmanship and attention to detail! Incredible work!

I've had the pleasure of watching you from the very beginning, turning that group of boulders into a place of beauty, and every time, I think you can't get any more creative. You do. @@TheOutsiderCabin Those screws on the front of the front post are bugging me. Maybe the suggested stone caps could lay over them? Some kind of cedar veneer would work too. It is just too beautiful to leave those screws showing when you first approach.
