Right after the 9/11 he came to my hometown, and played 3X the american anthem. We as brazilians, were expecting a metal concert. He as a swedish decided to play the USA anthem. Got booed all the way to the end. Great memory!
I can't believe there is a real Roman theater! Incredibly beautiful! This stage suits Count Yngwie Malmsteen very well. I'm worried that the building will collapse due to the loud sound.
Saw him live a few times in his prime, back in the 80's and 90's, when he really was a rising force. He played great, and mostly had great lineups, favourite for me was the Joe Lynn Turner era. Sadly though, he's lost the plot hasn't he. His ego has caused him to disappear up his own arse. Needs to spend more time practicing guitar, and less time doing his hair and posing.
@@stevegardiner8473I have to agree Joe lynn turner gave him his best ever selling album he has worked with some superb singers Marc bowls and Jeff Scot Scott’s now his just him hundred or so marshal amps his ego snd a very tiny amateur band with a bad singer out of time and tune whilst yngwie is like a ballerina on stage saw him twice in the 90,s and he was great pity he has completely lost the plot and his ego has taken him to new heights his guitar playing is just average now he was a superb fresh exciting player at one time but this set up is terrible if the band could be shoved off the stage a bit more, into the crowd maybe that would suit yngwie, he can’t be making much money theee days small venues and him trying to sing on his own albums has killed it for me I’m done he won’t be getting anymore of my money , I can still picture the good old days with graham bonnet with Alcatraz when he was on fire but even then his ego split the band and he was gone Steve vai took over
@@timetraveller9321 Agreed. I've seen him several times, with different singers, Turner, Edman, Vescera, and one disappointing time when Doogie White was having a very off night. The vocals were excruciating, but the band played great . That Odyssey tour with JLT was something special though.

he can still play just fine. there are times he chooses showmanship over perfect playing, but that's a choice he makes.
