Great video! I don't know why but these 'raw' videos of yours put me in a better mood each time I play it. There isn't like a lot of people on this channel yet and so videos like this feel more personal in a good way (hope it doesn't sound weird :D). Being busy studying for an entrance exam for uni here in Czechia, at the end of the day, it's nice to see someone regular (in a good way regular :D) driving such a great car. Been a dream of mine for the last 3, 4 years or so to own the m140i or some e90, e92 335i. So please continue with what you're already doing cuz after a long day of 9-5 work and then studying for the rest of the evening, some people really appreciate your videos :D
tom wow thank you for the kind words Tom! Wishing you all the best of luck with the exam & joining the m140i gang one day! It’ll be worth the wait! Appreciate the support mate 👊🏼👊🏼
I'm afraid it does. In fact all new modern BMW cars do it now and even cars like the new 2020 A45s etc now do it too. Since the regulations mean our cars need to be quieter, manufacturers pump sound through the speakers to give the passengers that 'experience'
@@MrHCars Yeah I knew all the newer cars did, wasnt sure about the m140. Got suspicious when watching in cabin videos. The thing sounds like a total monster
aidan flood agreed mate! Sounds good & I actually don’t mind it. Adds to the experience & my non-car friends can’t tell anyway, so they enjoy it for what it is too
i noticed the climate control display changed from white (5:04) to orange (5:28), weird question i know but why is that? looking at getting one myself and just picked up on it
Good spot! It changes to orange when it gets dark outside (to be easier on the eyes when driving I imagine). It would sometimes flick from white to orange and back to white again when I used to drive through a tunnel. I loved that feature! Sadly the M2 stays white all the time 😪
Nice car.. The only problem with owning a car like this M140i is that the FIRST time you get caught going over 100 MPH+ on a motorway you WILL be banned from driving ... And do NOT think you can't get caught... It does indeed "Look the part" but sadly you can't use this car to anywhere NEAR it's full potential on a UK public road. Like the other week I was driving through Blackpool on a 30 MPH road and a superpoo unimpreza sorry Subaru Impreza was in my tailgate going ... WOO POP POP POP WOO BUFF POP! Yes very good ....but IF I go any faster than 30 MPH all of these speed camera will record it and I will be fined £100 + 3 penalty points which WILL pump up my insurance costs next Year AND the Year after ... So I am "sorry and all that" but I will just have to go 30 MPH and you can drive as close as you want to the back of my car with your superpoo unimpreza .. You can always drive all the way to Germany to make full use your car I suppose... On an Autobahn...
@@Redacted00010 but what’s the fun in going up to 70 only? the real fun is pushing it that little bit more whilst obviously being careful and not doing it whilst loads of other drivers are on the road
It’s funny that these have a reputation for being easy to crash. They’re actually extremely safe even with full throttle……..with tc on
Err definitely not in the wet

03:45 what is that flashing orange/yellow light when he pulls in? this must be a new thing?
And to think BMW replaced this car with one containing a generic, characterless 4 cylinder engine.
Thats nothing. Mercedes switched their V8 for a 4 cylinder hybrid. 🙄😭😭

damn man you look well young to drive this car in the UK haha, nice vid
Haha it’s the Asian genetics.... 😅
How come you didn’t do any exhaust mods?
I’m looking at getting either an M135I or the M140I, is it worth it?
If you’ve got the budget, get the m140i. The 40i engine is better & more improved over the 35i engine. Also you can get the facelift interior etc too
Is it with OPF? What is the year of the car?
I want to know that too
Most likely no OPF. In Germany with OPF sound is not good..
The car is a 67 reg.. so late 2017 , Opf, ppf or gpf bmw are from July 2018, (68 plate)so anything under a 18 plate should be without a ppf
Does the m140i pump fake exhaust sound through the speakers?!
