As much as I am obsessed with Laura, her voice and acting choices, I can’t get used to Sarah. I saw her 3 times live and countless times on RUclips and her Glinda is simply not convincing. Vocally is ok, just alright, there were tens of better vocalists, but her Glinda is simply very unlikable and I can’t get any emotional connection with her acting. She isn’t just naturally funny, as Glinda should be. I think the only great acting part is Thank Goodness, where is shows more dramatic acting and i was impressed with that. But her comedy feeling is not there at all.
I can see where you’re coming from, but I’d have to disagree. I don’t think she’s the strongest singer in this role, but for me, her comedy and characterisation won be over - but admittedly, it did take me a few times watching the tour live to warm to her.
I love that you can see Laura Eying up the camera at 3:36
I think she’s looking at Glinda :)
