Zune Z2H-80 Repair - A Journey

Hello, how are you. Recently, I was cleaning out the closet and came across my 80 GB zune. Tried charging it, can see a faded battery as if it's charging, but nothing happens. Wanted to know if you still work on them if it was sent out to you. How would we go about all of that if so. Thank you in advance for your reply.

My husband ran his through the laundry several years ago and we still have it. Would that have erased all his stuff or can it be repaired with everything still there?

It depends on if the circuitry survived being soaked. Metal, when wet, reacts to liquid by rusting or corroding and that can destroy a circuit board. You'd have to open it and look around if it doesn't charge
