What I love is it feels like a real place. I've just replayed the first one after two years and I could remember the layout of the places as if I'd actually been there!
This game including this scene made me interested in Russian culture, now I’m starting a degree in a university devoted Russian linguistics. Syberia is the game about fulfiling people’s dreams. Now I can say that it fulfilled my dream 😊
Perhaps you are still in time to switch to French or Spanish degrees. If you go to Russia right now they may well take you to the word and send you in siberia
@@francescomonini8882 No worries, I’m certainly not going to go there anytime soon. I will continue studying this language for myself and to maybe in the future be a certified translator. My cut scene on my PS2 does not do this. Her voice is completely out of sync with the visuals. I hear the cage drop but she carries on singing and moving, then the sound ends and she still moves and sings in silence, then the cage drops in silence. Even when I replay this cut scene it's the same

This is a very old and famous song) The lyrics was written more than 150 years ago.
I knew this song all my llife, and the melody kept coming back at unlikely times. I never knew it was a russian song, but I am not surprised, the Russians have wonderful music. Found it today playing Syberia and had to google it right away :) Edit: I just remembered where I knew it from! The German singer Alexandra sang a german version of it ruclips.net/video/Fsa1IhT8l7E/видео.html :)
Syberia, not only a videogame, but a wonderful experience of soul. Only people who have played Syberia can understand this.
I absolutely agree. Everything about this game is so goddamn nostalgic
Yes...
exactly. I have been playing this game since my childhood [i am 15]. best game ever

This is the same song the janitor at Valadilene station is whistling, isn't it?
Yes, and it also plays inside the cabaret in Romansbourg in Syberia 2
@@rubencisorio3963 yes
Yup I noticed it straight away. It also plays in the bar/cabaret theatre in Romansburg

I have, on ps2, exactly the same problem.
Maybe it's a technical mistake.

who is voicing Helena as she sings? what an actress because i am looking for it and i can not find it very much thank you in advance for your help

Hello, the interpreter of "Black Eyes" in Syberia is the French singer Caroline Daparo who sang it on October 9, 2001 :-)
Too bad that actress wasn't Russian, because even for me as Polish man it is noticeable.

This is a very old and famous song) The lyrics was written more than 150 years ago.

And I just discovered that the lyrics of this song have a lot of variations... Surprise. ._.

@Nubah Punya , "Очи чёрные" (Ochi chornye) can be translated as "Black eyes".
