I just learned how to do this yesterday. My Wonderful boyfriend brought all the goodies. I did the cooking. It was Awesome and easy. Yummy I have cooked lobster tails before but never this way. It looks beautiful on the plate
Was looking for a simple to follow recipe, and you supplied it. Thx my man. If I knew how to post pics in a comment section I would. Just take my word that it came out alright. Only change I had was thyme and dill were the herbs I used. All I had fresh in the fridge.
Let cook for another 3 minutes so that the topping will melt and garlic will roast. Once 3 minutes are up, your done! Enjoy! Yes at the same temperature. Keep in mind that the broiler is closer to the food so keep an eye on it closely.
After cutting the lobster, you can turn it over on its back and crack each rib with your 2 thumbs. This will allow the shell to separate more easily. Cheers!
I buy everything from local grocery stores. I do not know, or have no idea how I would catch one of these in the wild. Every local grocery store here has the same size, unless I go to the bulk stores where they have the BIG ones but are more expensive. For this video this size and price gets got the job done. I really hope these stores are selling legal lobsters and adult ones too!! Thank you for your concern!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. It all depends on taste and what people like. If someone is on diet for instance then maybe using less is ideal. As for me personally I love the taste of olive oil and butter! Thank you.
When my wife gave birth.. They did the exact same with scissors to her. After you pulled the meat out and onto the 'prop'. Yep, that was about it. I feel I should have suggested using olive oil to be rubbed all over it.
Wow! What a baby tail!! Not really worth all that prep time for a couple bites of lobster. Way to much butter & oil for it also. An 8 oz tail would have been better. Entertaining video.
Yes it is a baby tail! It really only took about 1 or 2 bites hahaha. I agree with you about this tail being too small, we just used it for illustration purposes. If you want to get your moneys worth, go with a bigger tail. I appreciate you taking the time to comment! Thank You!
Wow! Baby lobster tail!! Getting by cheap there just for video!! Just a taste of lobster. You aren’t very good at doing this either!! Too much olive oil!
Thank you Nancy for taking the time to leave us a message. We appreciate you stating your opinion about the olive oil and will take it into consideration. :)

that lobster tail is super small. LOL!
Great recipe but it looks like too much olive oil and butter were used on that small tail.
I would use half that amount.

What’s wrong with adding more olive oil?
My thoughts exactly! Thank you Miss Shannon for leaving us your opinion and comment.
