Thanks for the video! I added these to my 2024 factory order, and it was nice being able to see them up close because the dealer had none on the lot. For that price, I would have sent the damaged ones back!
The best thing about there rails is that they hide the body pinch seam, like the original ones do. Most after market ones leave it exposed, less of a 'finished' look.
Keen observation! Thanks for watching and your comment is greatly appreciated. I wrote a companion article also: www.muddyruttzz.com/post/how-to-install-jeep-rock-rails
Nice video. I like the way they look. It's also nice to see you working on your own vehicle after retirement. I still work on mine and I'm going on 82. I just don't get it done as quickly as I used to.
not gonna lie, I would have sent them back. Way too much damage to accept those. I want a set though, but Intend to be a perfectionist, so I’m a stickler for not accepting damage. Thanks for the video.
True. I was happy with the protection of the stock. Just needed a little step. Ya there are some nice ones out there. Step works great when you’re parked on a weird angle. Not so much for getting in and out flat. Thanks! Wrote an article about them on my Blog also. www.muddyruttzz.com/post/how-to-install-jeep-rock-rails
These are heavy duty rock reals use to put them on recon package . They are also body protection does not sound like you rock crawl if you did that side step keeps the jeep if you slide into a rock.
I am not a rock crawler but sometimes we do get contact with rocks on some of the Overlanding trails. If I’m going to get into anything might be labeled Rock Crawling I’ll use my Wrangler. Thanks!
Yes not a very big surface. When the Jeep is on a weird angle it works well. Thanks for watching. See the Blogpost here: www.muddyruttzz.com/post/how-to-install-jeep-rock-rails

Thanks Bud! Next for the Gladiator is the Mopar 2” lift. I’ll have a shop do that. I’m going mountain biking with a 82 year old buddy this morning.

I wouldn’t blame you. Those rails are heavy. They should do a better job packing them. Thanks!
For sure! I would drive right to the Jeep dealer with those damaged rails. Way too expensive to receive the rails looking like that.
Your right considering what they cost. They were shipped to me by Fedex. I could have made a claim.
Not really a step, beware to purchaser.
The rock rails look great, and the only problem is they don't protect any better than the the stock ones.

@@MuddyRuttzz yea I installed those on my wrangler saved me a few times
Not much of a step, to be honest!

Efficient. Covered Mopar quality and defects in one video.
I tried to get it all in one video for you, hopefully it was helpful!
