We'll get into the nitty-gritty of it next video and see how worth it, it is over what your receiver or pre processor can do for you especially advanced ones
Mini dsp HD , REW and MSO FTW! Give MSO (multi subwoofer optimizer software) a try, it is amazing. It’s another step above REW but believe me it’s worth it. There are tutorials online. ARC is dang good though too
Hi Kyle I’m not sure if you have the microphone information for the mini dsp it relies on the microphone calibration information to get the best performance out of your subs and system because it uses the front right and front left to get a balanced calibration . I have 2 minis and I am always trying to get the most accurate performance that I can.
i am barely still cant connect minidsp to avm70, cable route was correct, but its doesnt work, and i dont know how to callibrate anthem either, pain in **
I was thinking of this but I'm not sure. I tried my passive subs with a receiver but when turned up they clipped so I went back to my old monster receiver they worked fine as it was pushing 4 volts and the Mini DSP only puts out 1 volt IIRC. So will it accept the 4 volt sub out from my monster receiver without clipping? As long as I get the same or more signal to my sub amps I'd like to try this.
welcome to the club
This is very informative. I’ll more then likely invest in one next year

@@Kpaceguy thank you!!!

Do you need this if you one have 1 subwoofer?
Nope. The MiniDsp is intended for multiple sub integration. Besides in a home theater setup you should have at least 2 subs for optimal performance.
@@johnlim7720He is right about having 2 subs and try to get the same sub for the best performance.
its helpful you can fix peaks and dips

It shouldn't clip the signal
