Geto is one of the many proofs that Jujustu Kaisen isn’t all about fights but also about story and character writing
I love how this arc singlehandedly changed the whole perspective of the show for lots
After watching Geto's story, I feel like he's a great character and an awesome villain 🖤

Geto is just a fantastic character. Peak character writing which shows how capable Gege Akutami is as a writer. By the way, the reason why Gojo didn't kill Geto is because he just couldn't, didn't you see his hands literally trembling and him choking up? That's his best friend, the person he trusts and loves the most. It indicates that even after becoming the "honored one", Gojo is still a human being with emotions, at least when it comes to his bestfriend.

@@trackuniverse9121 well tbf it's both, but premature death is almost entirely from geto's perspective so. yknow.
Gojo was delaying executing Geto for 10 years despite being the only one who could do it and only killed Geto when he didn't leave him any choice. Geto was his closest person after all. Even after his death, he still considers Geto his one and only best friend. He also understood why Geto did it but couldn't accept the methods.
Toji had 0 cursed energy.

I think Getos line is sort of asking the chicken and egg question to Gojo. Like "are you strong because you're gojo, or did becoming strong make you who you are?" thats my interpretation

Haibara had no significance or importance?! He has MC vibes and establishing his presence and his death was made for Geto to realize that being a jujutsu sorcerer is a marathon until one's death and someone as good as Haibara really affected Geto bc he didn't want a fellow jujutsu sorcerer/comrade to die anymore, so he decided that Yuki's goal would be better, which is to cure the cause rather than treat the symptoms (what the normal jujutsu sorcerer does).
And the 2 routes were the courses of actions, and the exprerience with Toji, the cult followers traumatic claps, and what those villagers did to those 2 little girls are what set Geto off to going down path 1 and using the method of killing all non-sorcerers.
- Haibara's death helped Geto decide that Yuki's main goal is the best solution.
- Toji, claps, treatment of those 2 little girls lead to Geto choosing the crazy path where
Didn't noticed at first that Gojo was crying at the end, the feels for sure.
but maaan, u only can like this season more, BECAUSE of the season 1 and movie,

After this arc I completely understand Geto. Which makes JJK0 experience even worse for me...

Lol😂 Let me correct you on one thing Duk. Gojo didn’t kill Geto in the street because of his feelings for Geto not the crowd. In the manga he was fully contemplating unleashing Hollow Purple in a crowded street(not giving a damn about collateral damage) if he had to kill his best 😮friend👀
