Geto clearly was always giving gojo friend advice what he thought was the right thing to do but Geto found himself alone when he need a good advice or a different point of view from his friends

The Japanese monk's garment that Geto wears at the end of the story, the cloth over his shoulders, is called a "kesa" in Japanese. There are several types of kesa, and the version Geto wears is officially called "Gojo-kesa" He goes out of his way to wear the same kesa as his best friend's name when there are other options. Years after this scene, and for that matter during the "movie," he continues to wear the Gojo kesa. The ending they follow is a separation, but their friendship is sadly beautiful. (The author has made it clear that this was not an accident, but an intentional dressing.)
Geto and Gojo are more like Madara and Hashirama rather than Naruto and Sasuke. They want the same thing but had a different way of trying to achieve it. They are two best friends who went through the same things but were changed by it in a different way. who see the world differently.

How did Gojo get back up? Those stabs went IN. Throat stab and slash, stab stab stab stab in leg, head stab. Head stab wasn't clearly shown so we can take Gojo's word for it that he used reversed technique there to avoid a deep stab to the head but
The rest of the stabs went in hard. He couldn't have gotten back up after that. But he did. Surviving I get, getting back up like nothing happened, that is some Beeee Assssss. Unless there is some exp.

What's interesting is that Geto calls all non-sorcerers monkeys because when Toji fought him and almost killed him he said to him "remember this as a lesson, that a monkey without power like me beat two of the strongest sorcerers". In a way, Geto was the key point where Satoru and Suguru found their own new meaning.

There are many points to discuss as to how things got this way:
1) The Toji Incident and the Star Group clapping definitely haunted Geto more than Gojo. The rain/ shower and applause transition is just superb.
2) A callback, when they are both the Strongest. Geto was always nagging at Gojo about Moral, fighting for the weak and respect to their others; seen in their missions and basketball matches. Geto was Gojo moral compass, when Gojo teased the idea to kill all the Star Group followers. Geto stopped him going down the dark path and Gojo listens.
The fact that after Gojo became the strongest. Gojo went on his missions alone, spends his free time to advance his Red/Blue control and automatic limitless. Shoko never get send on dangerous mission. This means that Geto had to deal with all the missions and his feelings alone.
Gojo was not there for Geto when he needed him. Barely only noticing he got thinner.
3) Throughout Geto was fighting his inner demons. He didn’t just snap, he was considering all the pointers people gave him.
It doesn’t help they all nudged him towards a certain direction.
- A Point.
His own conversation with Gojo about Genocide. Gojo flippantly said must there really need to be a point to murder? Geto reinforced his idea that Killing must have a Point.
- Doing his best.
Haibara innocence inspired Geto. Even we are not the best, we will give it everything we got.
- Choosing your real self.
This is a case where knowledge and advice coming at the wrong time. Geto needed company but it was definitely not the best time to bring out this topic.
Not only Yuki sow the seed of total eradication of curse in the world in Geto. She also convince Geto that what you think are just possibilities, what you act on defines who you choose to be.
- Marathon.
The whole curse problem is it’s an endless cycle.
The normal human generate curses > Sorcerers risk their lives to fight curse despite them not being the genesis of curses > Sorcerers dying are common occurrence, but dying(Haibara is an example) to protect who? > The people who generate curses are also in many instances unworthy of protection as they are just crappy (Star Group, the Villagers that detained the girls)
4) In JJK 0 finale clash, Yuta said “this is Pure Love” and Geto said “and I do this for the Greater Good”.
5) When Geto took over the remnant Star organization, he called Mr Sonoda up to the stage and crushed him.
Hmm who’s Sonoda you may ask.
Remember Shigeru Sonoda? The bugger Star Group representative that planned Riko murder and took her body. Yeah that’s him! 💫🤪
WELL DESERVED.. so go smoke those Monkeys 🙊
Everyone can talk about it and disagree how to face this issue. But no one actually dared to ‘solve’ this curse issue and nip the bud at its roots.
Gojo was saying what’s the point of killing non-sorcerer bit by bit. Slowly chipping away.
Geto is correct to say if he was Gojo, the ideal would be so much plausible. Just because how powerful Gojo is, he literally could succeed in it.
Geto lamented I can’t be you, but I will at least get my hands dirty and get down with it. I’ll made my choice and I’ll give it my all.
To protect the weak, Geto still believed in it. However the question is are Non Sorcerer Human always the weak? Toji calls himself a monkey, is Toji weak? The Star Group who plotted Riko’s death, are they weak? The villagers who mistreated the 2 girls, weak? Or are sorcerers who got abused, sorcerers who risked their lives and die in the process, the vulnerable?
Deep inside, Geto never changed he just wanted to build a better world in his little ways… just a change of perspective.
Geto is a ‘muggle-born’.
If you think about how kind Geto was, it hurts him but since he decided the better world can only exist without non sorcerers. He cannot make special exceptions to his own parents.
He had made his bed, there’s no way out.
seeing Geto's losing his humanity and sanity after losing Gojo's support was definitely heart breaking. The author also pretty much alluded that gojo told geto :You are my best friend. My one and only before he killed him in JJK zero

I believe that getou' jujutsu technique was one of biggest reason he turned into dark side. It's like he has no choice to absorb & eat those curses in order for him to get stronger & at the same time he has to endure those disgusting taste over & over again.

The cause of Nanami's break from being a sorcerer in Season 1 is Haibara's death (we saw Gojo trynna convince him)
Geto's behavior in the movie 0 was irritating, fake smiling and waving while fighting but that is his good natured personality, he was like that even when he was a good guy if being a bad guy is considered a thing in his case because of his grey ideology:
Geto snapped for these reasons:
- Whom he is protecting ? doing all that for what ?
- The losses of his comrades
- Someone has to step up to finish this suffering and rigged system
- He is crazy enough to do the unethical solution
- Denying his hate to non-sorcerers
- The emotional and power gap created between him and Gojo

There's something strange with Geto that we know from season 1 because if Gojo killed him in JJK 0 who the fuck is the guy that looks like him??? I don’t think so. We don’t really see him dying. Gojo said he killed but maybe Geto had some trick and or had someone come in clutch and saved him.

Yeah Geto after that incident was already pretty much hostile to non-sorcerers but he couldn't do meaningless killing that was very important to him which is why he didn't kill those people clapping at riko's death and that's why even though he had hostility he became aimless because even if he had hostility he couldn't do anything cuz there'd be no point to it and then Yuki came along and gave him the point the reason to start killing non sorcerers for the "Great cause" of stopping cursed spirits from being born... genius writing

Some people don’t understand how far being a jujutsu sorcerer is, that’s why a lot of people quit. Most because the are scared of curses as gojo said and just because it ain’t an easy job but geto went from being with his friend to doing it alone as well as him already questioning what he is fighting for and at such a young age. I don’t really blame him for coming to such a conclusion because getting rid of cursed energy would be almost close to impossible and optimizing cursed energy might be the easiest way to do it but I wouldn’t go for that option though kinda like how yuki suggested it but wouldn’t do it

i kinda dont agree with you guys on this one, Yuki didnt really convice geto to do what he did, she was just a senpai trying to help a underclassmen to get better, everyone could see he wasnt doing well at that moment, even gojo mention it 2-3 time when they finaly meet after couple of month being alone doing mission non-stop. In that sence she actually saved geto to not kill himself for becoming crazy about all this. Well in the end geto choose everything that happen to him but of course yuki will feel guilty about it in the future. Dont wanna spoil the future but the wheel come around sometime.

You’re right to make comparisons to Naruto, the author admitted she drew heavy inspiration from it. I mean, the 2 boys/1 girl trio, the hairstyles the black haired introspective with a dark mission, the spiky haired rambunctious do-gooder and the… girl lol (JJK girls are more varied and well-written than Naruto girls, not fitting a single mold).
I wonder if they’ll ever get into the possibility of TEACHING non-sorcerers about curses instead of killing them as a way to diminish curses. Seems like that would be a win-win.
Had Geto met Mahito earlier he could have absorb him and use him to awake all non sorcerers to jujutsu like Mahito did for Jumpei instead of Killing them
