I'm going to show you some information about buying tickets, saving money, getting on and off the ferry, and what to expect onboard. I miss the Sydney ferries 😭
They are wonderful!
It is very impressive how efficient the ferry is. We stayed in Neutral Bay in March of 2020. Walked down the hill to the wharf. Usually rode the bus back up the hill, traveling with a 6 and 3 yo
We were really impressed as well. If I had known how efficient it was I wouldn’t have bothered to rent a car. We stayed in McMahon’s Point. So beautiful!
@@TinagirlTravels I can not wait to go back! We flew into Melbourne. Rented a van, my parents were with as well. Visited friends in Bairnsdale. Drove to Sydney, through where the Bush fire had burned. Spent 4 nights in Sydney. On to Canberra via Katoomba. Then drove the great ocean road.

Hi, lovely video. Theres two things you didnt address. I have an opal card that i use for the bus and train, on a regular bases. Now if i want to go to Manly by ferry, i use the same opal card, an go to the correct gate, an just tap on to board an tap off at destination? I also know there are different companies that offer ferries that cater for morning tea, lunch , dinner cruises around the harbour. So if i want to go on a coffee cruise around the harbour - what is the method of purchasing a ticket ? In the days before opal card you would just go to terminal an pay at the counter then hop aboard your ferry.
