Hey everyone! How are you doing? Hope you all are staying safe and healthy out there, things have gotten really crazy in the past week. California just declared a mandatory STAY AT HOME order, so I’ll be working on some videos that I already filmed to get up for you guys. Next video will be up much sooner than you think! I know it’s not really a great time to be posting travel content since it’s not advised to travel right now, but I hope that at the least my videos can provide some entertainment and happiness and take your mind off of all the craziness that’s going on ❤️
I'm in NY and they just declared the same thing. The terror of the unknown is palpable with everyone I speak with. I am glad with the free time I now have; at least you're putting out new vids to keep me occupied. Keep it up kid! Love your content as always!
@@feedmeimei can't wait for the new vids! I'll keep sharing these with my friends and family. A lot of my friends are chefs (I lived in the culinary dorms in college), they love your unique food videos
Whoaa Sydney! ohh rightt now we remembered John ever mentioned on NYE that you're visiting, should hit us up next time hehe :) great Video guy behind the camera haha ^^
The sausage roll is huge! Lol that tomato sauce! Is it how it's supposed to squeeze out? The Harbour bridge and opera house are incredibly beautiful! I'll be as excited!
Very informative but different to my 24 hours in Sydney, I just wish I had scheduled more time. I did walk through Darling Harbour however I did the Opera House indepth with a tour and concert. I did the Chinese Garden of Friendship, walked through the Rocks and got close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and walked around Circular Quay to the Opera House. I jetted around on ferries to Manly; Watson Bay and the Gap where I dined at the famous Doyles fish restaurant. I also took the ferry upriver past the old Olympic Stadium to Parramatta but unfortunately never got to Bondi which I regret to this day. I also spent two days in the Blue Mountains. I dined twice at a German restaurant in Sydney. I saw loads but missed out on loads too.
Omg miss you!! Can't believe it hasn't even been 3 weeks since you were here!! So much has happened. You made all that food look so good; I haven't even tried the lamington yet hahah. I'm going to make John get one takeaway for me. Wish I could've joined in on the food tour; for sure next time when you're back! - Malie
Way to go!!! Great to see you collab with John and Mallie! We have some meat pies in Canada that are a chain from Australia called Kanga. A must try. Love me some meat pies!
I couldn’t make the premier to this video but I’m so glad you made a cool video on Sydney Australian I’m in Melbourne and I hope you get to see it one day. Sydney is gorgeous
I've always been told Australia is an expensive place to go on vacation , but now I'm gunna actually consider it! 🤔. Your videos rock and your editing and presentation is amazing ✊🏽✊🏽looking forward to more!
Aw thank you so much! And yes highly recommend visiting Australia; it honestly took me by surprise how much I loved it! It's definitely not expensive compared to where I'm from 😅
Love Flour & Stone and their canelés and of course that pannacotta lamington! That strawberry watermelon cake is my fave cake in the whole world haha John did an amazing at being a tour guide haha
Omg all the food was so amazing! Was skeptical about the watermelon cake at first but I was pleasantly surprised 😋 The lamington was also definitely one of my favorites! Hahah yes John is the best 🙌🙌
Emperor’s Puff, it’s been a while! I remember it was only 20cents each. Now it’s double the price. Great video Alyssa! Looking forward to the next ones 😊
Yes they are! I'm so glad we got to meet up while I was there! Thanks for watching 😊 P.S. I have another Sydney video on my channel in case you missed it! Much love ❤️
Glad you loved Australia 🥰 YOU need to visit Melbourne.. Funny as an Australian I associate that pie floater as English not Australian and we do have amazing coffee.. Sending hugs from Australia
Awwwwh that beef pie with mashed peas and potatoes! Putting that in my list! Love that cake with the flowers and pistachio! Everything looks so good and pretty!
I honestly feel so blessed and lucky! A few days after I got back to California they issued the shelter in place order and Australia was issuing a travel ban
We haven’t tried the tiger pie! We should get it next time we visit Sydney. But that’s not exactly a classic Aussie pie imho. Should get a normal meat pie then eat it with tomato ketchup 😁
Just bear in mind that food and accommodation are very expensive in the popular tourist areas, so avoid those if you are on a budget. There are lots nicer beaches than Bondi too. They are scattered all along the coast within a short drive of the CBD. Yes, look at the Opera House and do take a ferry to Taronga Zoo and to Manly. But there are much nicer and quieter spots around Sydney that are better and you pay what locals pay. If you want a list reply to this with an email address.
Girrrllllll I want it all!!!🤤🤤🤤 I'm glad you included a lot of food lol I love learning about all these places in case I ever get to go. I thought it would be expensive but it's basically the same as the US maybe even a little cheaper. Damn it you made me hungry😫😅
Omg yes! I was so pleasantly surprised at the prices! Way cheaper than the US, at least here in the Bay Area, ANDDD tax is included in the prices and you don't have to tip! I was living in a dream 😍
Great video. Followed 👍 As a local I like all the places you went except for the Korean Fried Chicken spot. I would have recommended something Australian, like a steak from Rock Pool (expensive but worth it) or a chicken schnitty or parmi from Coogee Pav 👍

dont considrer it. its cheaper for Australians to spend 3 months in taiwan or korea than a 2 week holiday in another australian city.
For Americans, Australia is cheap since the value of USD stretches in Australia.
I wtach ur vids while i eat :)
also want to try the sausage rollll
ty for tuning in :)
I can totally relate, if this is my first time in Sydney these are the places I would visit!!!
You guys gotta go visit there sometime!!!
