Ahh twin bestie looking stunning as always💕💕 Honestly I can totally see where you are coming from with ms Frieda McFadden. I personally loved the housemaid as it was so fast paced but everything I’ve read from her since has been so mediocre at best and she is so hyped on all the platforms right now! Not my heart breaking seeing Verity on this list. That is one of my favourite books of all time. But to be fair, I read it when no one even knew who Colleen Hoover was so I feel like I get a pass ? Haha
You get a pass either way bestie cause you’re entitled to your opinion! I can see why people love it!! It’s just my personal feelings about it in general and thrillers are sooo hit and miss for me
I also read the the housemaid and thought it was over-hyped. The ending was unbelievable as you said and I hated the main character so much, I much preferred the wife as a character. It was definitely easy to read and fun at times but I did not like it overall
I had a lot of fun with Fourth Wing, I think it has a real binge-able quality, but overall, I totally agree with your remarks. The writing indeed isn't great ^^' I feel that listening to it on audio probably made it more enjoyable for me because I find it easier to forget about the quality of the writing and just focus on the plot's forward momentum. And dragons, obviously, are a big plus XD
Oh yeah if i listened on audio I could see that! I tend to be a bit more lenient when books are on audio just because it’s simply easier to get through them lol
I remember when Fourth Wing came out, everyone at my job was even telling everyone to read it. I am tempted to read it just for an idea I have but I'm also not in the mood to do it 😅 I'm so bummed to hear that you weren't a fan of the Zodiac Academy. I've never read it but as someone that loves zodiac signs, I've always wanted to eventually pick it up.
I looove astrology so much and I wanted to love it so bad! I think they’re on KU so if you have that you could always try it out, or maybe just try it on a library loan to see if you like it! I just can’t recommend it 🥹
@@geminipages that's a good idea. I've been wanting to try out KU, but want to have a list of books I plan on reading to justify getting it. This feels like such a Capricorn thing to say 🤣
"c's get degrees and sometimes publishing deals" that gagged me!! i loved hearing your opinion on all these books!
I was proud of that one 😂Thank youuu!!
Totally agree with fourth wing- I read it so late and couldn’t believe this was the book everyone had been hyping up for a year 😅
Right 😂 it was FINEEE but that’s about it lol
Same😭🙏
