“Interpolating”. The most technical term I’ve ever heard. (Kidding)
Wish you guys had these 6 months ago. Love the billet piece, but screw in fit my project better. As mine go bad I will replace them with Rife. Nice work as always guys.

Well we certainly don’t hope yours go bad. But we’ll be ready if ya need us!

Checking the end points is a good idea, but how about the 3 mid points at 25, 50 and 75 percent of the range. The endpoints may come into spec, but if one of the mid points are not checked you cannnot tell for sure if its truely linear which could be off 5-10 percent within the range itself.

NICE!! Being a guy who works with solar and hydropower. 5% is a big deal. .5% is NO joke. Now I know where I am buying my low pressure sensor. Would love to see how your testing them. Thanks and God Bless.

Thanks, Doug! You just Tech Tip Taught me the word interpolating.

My side-by-side is running lean in closed loop mode. Per the diagnostic window, the system thinks baro pressure is 27.0 when local weather stations average 30, and my own cheap weather station is a bit higher. I would love to be able to replace the MAP/intake air temp sensor with a sensor accurate to half a percent!

Interesting :-). In Industry we use test ports like this. Search "anchor fluid power TEST POINT FITTINGS". Inclusion of test ports like that would allow one to hook up an analog gauge to confirm the transducer reading and or calibrate it. Might be a good pre race weekly PM to confirm important transducers. Compatibility with the fluids might be an issue with fuel though.

Good info! With watching you guys and seeing the cool stuff you build have any of you tried 3m panel bond to put fiberglass or carbon fiber to metal. Check it out I've used it for years stuff is strong as hell. Thought of it on the Nova build. Also works on metal to aluminum or aluminum to fiberglass. Used it for 10 plus years easy way to put things together.

Good info here.. in the industry I’m in we need to calibrate sensors whenever changed.. granted it’s prox but same idea

My low doller map is scaled correctly in holley but it reads 86kpa key on engine off and running shows 30kpa range when trying to build boost. I have looked at tune and also checked voltage I get 4.96v on power wire 1.66 on sensor valve. It's a 3bar sensor any help? I tried scaling the sensor at it ran rich my car way out when I started it. Shut it down and took scaling off. Need help my tuner is lost called and got a replacement sensor and same thing.

Any plans to offer a combination pressure/temperature sensor? Makes packaging so much easier on some stuff like oil and water.

Lowdoller offers exactly what you're looking for

@@tobylewis1920 Yea, we have some. The resolution hasn’t been quite as accurate as we’d like but we are making them work for the time being. Since accuracy is one of the big selling points of the Rife sensors, it would be awesome if they offered them as well, to compare against Lowdoller’s offerings.

@@ThePopeProductions how far off are the low doller sensors. I just ordered some rife sensors and some lowdoller, but if it's a problem I'll swap to all rife
