Petshopboys is one of the very best groups that exceed in pure music! They are wonderful story tellers and the different layers of the delicate and heavy music patterns always sound new to me every time I listen to their songs I never tire of them, I only want to listen to them again so I can feel the purest feelings that they want to communicate and hear new things that I hadn't experienced before... Long live Neil and Chris!

In Hungary, where I live, radios played their more popular tracks (Domino Dancing, Heart, Always On My Mind, Suburbia, West End Girls, just to name a few), but I don't often hear their post-2000 songs which is a pity, because everything they create is magic.
This song was released when my grandma died. I purchased the cd: anytime I listen to it, she comes back to my mind and I find myself thinking about the last days I was given to live with her. I miss you, granny.
My two grandmas were still alive in 2003 but I was just 3 years old at this time. My first grandma died in 2012 and the other one died in 2018. So whenever I listen to a song from 2012 or 2018, it makes me think about them. I miss you so much grandma. I wish you were still alive. Rest in peace. 😭

All the song is great, but the second verse, going to 1:29 to 2:39, in one of the most perfect combination of sound in the pop history. Orchestra, synths, varied drums, opera bits, piano...a lot of elements going in and out so perfectly combined that make it looks simple, when it's really a very complex arrangement... PSB putting the POP as one of the finest musical "genres" once again. Thanks!!!
