      @@RedMage_DoveiThere is no real true good ending. It mostly depends on who you're rooting for in the show. Walt getting away with everything would be a good ending to some but to others its him getting away with all of his crimes. Mike surviving is a good ending to some but to others it's a hypocritical murderer getting a good ending he doesn't deserve. Hank winning is a good ending to some but to others it's bad because Walt doesn't get away. It's all subjective. Personally, I prefer to see Walt win like he does here. Jesse getting a good ending is also good.

    *BEST WHAT IF IDEA:* "What if Walt never got drunk during dinner with the Schraders after Gale Boettecher's death ??"
    Hank concluded that Gale was Heisenberg, and gave up his investigation completely. I think if Walt kept his mouth shut that day, all problems could've been avoided, as Hank would've taken his promotion to El Paso, and except for Hank nobody would've reopened the Heisenberg case.

    1:08 one of my favorite characters of the Breaking Bad universe is the diner waitress from the "Live Free or Die" fast-forward who suggested Walter (as Mr. Lambert) to have his meal for free since it was his birthday, an offer which Walt declined, and then the waitress shares her opinion, saying that "free is always good". And that was just such a memorable moment to me, because Walter as we know him, has too much of an ego to have something be handed to him. No easy ways out, no shortcuts, he has to do everything on his own, because that's how he proves his worth (at least to himself), and yet, there was that waitress, unknowingly completely disagreeing with Walter's worldview as she's saying that having things just be handed over for you is great actually. Just a moment of irony that I found memorable.

      You really think Marie would let him pee standing up in their house? Get real! Marie keeps a clean home, and a bathroom used by a man who pees standing is covered in dried piss droplets.
      The only chance Hank's intention was to poop is if he is like me and prefers not to sit on any toilet seat outside his own home unless necessary.
      As for the picking up of the book, I often read while peeing, as it frequently is the first chance I've had to sit for hours.

    ‘What If Saul Goodman was in El Camino’? I know he wasn’t present because of concerns for how it would affect Better Call Saul but it would have been nice given his role in Jesse’s story.
    ‘What if Lalo Was In Better Call Saul Season 1?’ It’s an interesting thought of how he’d impact the show if he showed up earlier, especially since Peter Gould wanted him in season 1.

    I thought this was the ending I wanted, but I’m so glad the show ended how it did. The plot of breaking bad was built around Walt changing into a monster. It’s much more impactful that Walt truly changed. It would take away so much from the story if the writers’ magically made Walt change back, because Walt’s entire character arc was to show that this was for him and his pride. Providing for his family was how Walt felt strong, powerful, and in control. He never once expressed wanting his family to feel like that; HIS pride was always what truly mattered.

    What if Walt didn't save Jesse in Half Measures?
    What if the sniper guy sent Jesse to Belize in Bug?

    What if one or more of the prisoners survived Walt's hit?

    • @Delta_Aves_Mashups
      @Delta_Aves_Mashups 2 месяца назад

      For the second scenario, Jesse would obviously be dead, and Walt would not be too pleased with Gus and his dealers. I imagine afterwards, they'd have a meeting, and Walt would try to be calm and level-headed, but Gus would know he's not gonna just let this go, and suspects he'll try to retaliate. So, just like before, Gus decides to off him before he becomes a problem for them, bringing in Gale to learn his recipe, and Walt would be none the wiser, since he supposedly did everything right (doing his job, knowing his place etc.). That is until he's brought to the lab, and without Jesse to contact, he'd be killed by Mike and Viktor.

    Nah, I think it honestly wouldn't have changed all that much. Jesse would still have had a guilty conscience. For hwhatever reason, he would still have told Hank, eventually. Maybe after burning down the White's house. He would have still been kidnapped by Todd & co. Hank would have prolly still been killed by Todd & co. Walter would have still been estranged from his family and would still have died. He still had cancer, after all.

    You forget Walt never really did it for his family. He did it for himself, as he admitted to Skyler in the finale. Walt would not have been able to stay retired, particularly once he learned there was poor quality blue-dyed meth out there. Heisenberg is the real person, Walt is the alias.

  • @BabyGhast4
    @BabyGhast4 2 месяца назад +2

    It is actually quite interesting how this is likely the perfect ending for Walter.
    He has all of his biological and legal family in the end, he has the money to do what he set out to do and more, he has a considerable chance of surviving his cancer (he has the money to pay for the highest quality healthcare (I think that is how the healthcare system works in the USA, I would not know since I live in England) to extend a life he would now actually want to live), and all previous criminal ties have now been severed. And yet it still is not really a “good ending” per se, since Jesse has been psychologically and emotionally destroyed by Walter, many have died for this ending to happen, many consumers of Walter’s product now face destroyed lives due to struggling with addiction, and several large-scale criminals escape incarceration. In order for Walter to win, countless others must lose.

    I disagree with the events of this version. Just because Hank doesn’t find the book, doesn’t also mean Jesse wouldn’t still realise about Brock’s poisoning when being collected by the disappearer, Wolverine would still get rid of Todd, causing the product to plummet in quality, and lead to Lydia’s hostile takeover with Jacks gang, who then attempt to coerce Walt into a few more cooks to get Todd back up to scratch….

    With that ending Todd should be shown lurking in the bushes, behind Walt's house. During a family gathering. Imagine Hank finds out by another drug dealer going after Walt, after Walt has already retired. It's not an industry one simply retires from, and Todd, desperate to do business with Lydia, would do anything to get that. Maybe he kills one of Walt's kids from a distance, the perfect circle. He did it all for his family, his kids specifically, but it ends with a drug dealer killing one of them.

    Great video once again, my man.
    I want to give my take on this:
    Even though Hank wouldn't find Walt's book on top of the toilet I believe that, over time, the past of failure would haunt Hank. Hank would slowly turn restless by the fact that he never got the greatest meth cook in the entire mid west, because of his role as ASAC in the DEA. Even though he is admired by his entire team, he feels that he failed doing the most important thing, being protecting his peers from the criminal underground. Hank would search the evidence room one last time in a desperate attempt to tie up ANY loose ends in the case, securing him that he did everything he could to capture Heisenberg. Eventually, Hank would find the crued drawing of Walter White in his Heisenberg persona, in which it would ignite Hank's suspision towards Walt as it is in the original show.

    What if Walter and Jesse switched places in ozymandias? Like, Walt rats out Jesse for his freedom, and instead of Hank dying it was Andrea and Brock following him into the desert and dying, and Felina and Granite slate had their major events swapped (Walt is enslaved by Todd’s uncles’ gang, Skyler dies instead of Andrea and Jesse rescues Walt in felina, etc)
