Even though he should be and probably is, smart enough to know what's coming he still thinks he can use his brain to take back control of the situation.
Remember that the only reason for the hit on Hank by the Salamancas was because Gus wouldn't allow the hit on Walter. So if Walter was suddenly on the table due to possibly turning rat, Gus would have cleared the hit, Walter would have been killed in his cell by cartel, and Hank would never have been targeted.
@Cinnamon_Rolls_Out_Of_The_Oven what about saul? And kim will get some blame aswell as saul and maybe their lies will be uncovered and they will be arrested
Yo What if Gus recruited Saul directly? Before breaking bad, when jimmy bought the book. Gus would have remembered his involvement with Lalo and recruited him similar to what he did with Nacho maybe?
"Jesus Christ, Marie, they're minerals!" In this scenario, Hank's breaking in to the RV without a warrant was a 4th Amendment violation--an unreasonable search. The exception for a crime in progress doesn't apply because Hank had no clear view of any crime being committed within, nor had he heard anything (like a scream) indicating that a crime was underway. Mere suspicion does not satisfy the exigent circumstances exception to the required warrant. Indeed, Hank had already entered the curtilage of the domicile to perform surveillance, which violates the resident's reasonable expectation of privacy under the 4th Amendment. Because the search would certainly be found to be unreasonable, all of the evidence discovered within the RV would be excluded from any attempted prosecution. Walt and Jesse walk. Saul (as well as any second year law student worth his salt) would be well aware of this. For the above reasons, the scenario was simply not believable.
Wah wah wah I’m a NERD that needs everything in my fun little alt-history channel to be ACCURATE and REALISTIC. It’s a well written story and small issues like that simply ruin your ability to enjoy it. Good luck out there mate
I love that Gus went to Don Eladio's thinking he was in control of the narrative. However, I don't imagine he'd have left things to chance in this scenario. The original sequence of events had Gus warning Hank that "two men" were coming to kill him. It ensured that Hank would be able to fight back and have the greatest chance of eliminating the twins. In this scenario, Gus would have still tipped off Hank by calling the house. Even if Hank was blasting music on his headphones, Marie would be the one to answer the house phone. She'd take the phone to Hank who would receive the warning. Like a good husband, he'd hide Marie in the closet, grabbing his gun and waiting for the twins. Without his car to eliminate one of the brothers, and his wife in the house, Hank would go for headshots, dropping the brothers as they searched a house for Hank and Marie, unaware they were walking into a trap. With the twins eliminated and Hank and Marie unharmed, the neighborhood would soon be filled with DEA agents. They'd identify the twins as part of the Salamanca crime family and lean on the Federales to go after the Eladio cartel, leading to Bolsa's death. Hank would assume this was retaliation for killing Tuco, but would also consider it likely that it could be related to the arrest of Walt and Jesse. I don't see Jesse getting a plea deal. Instead, I'd imagine the prosecutor dropping the charges altogether. With Hank's brother-in-law being an equal suspect, Saul could make it seem like Hank was also pressuring Jesse to cook and only arrested Walt and Jesse because they were planning to cut him out or wanted out of the business. Hank, wanting to put the nightmare of Heisenberg behind him, would accept that promotion to Texas with Gomez, deciding to forget about Jesse. With the Eladio cartel unable to operate in the US and the DEA staying well-away from Jesse, Mike would eventually reach out to the young man with a new job offer. Instead of Jesse working with an unstable Walt, he'd work with a polite Gale.
The only part I dont really agree with is Mike reaching out to Jesse. Gus would have no reason to believe Jesse was anything more than a contemptable junkie. Jesse wouldn't ever have the chance to actually prove himself to Gus
@CatchTheMarmosets Disagree. If Jesse had to be the one to kill Krazy 8, then the mess at the bath tub wouldn't have happened if Walt took care of that. Plus Jesse knows Krazy 8 unlike Walt. Jesse might kill him for what went down at the RV, but if he didn't, if he decided to let him go, you know he wouldn't have noticed the missing shard from the plate, assuming he would feed him. If he did kill him you know he's going to take it hard. Might even prompt him to quit working with Walt. Or even quit the life of crime altogether. And if Walt threatens to turn him in, Jesse now has the RV as leverage against him. "If I go to jail, you're going with me.'' Gale in The Fly that was just me having fun, but that does have some implications for Jesse. The thought of Gale questioning Walt over a fly is so adorable to me. Plus, if Gale found out from Walt that he had cancer that might change things on Gale's end. For the third, sure, I guess not much would change other than Andrea living, but who knows? That's for Murge to play with. My idea at the time was that Jesse would have the pieces in place to make an escape but decided not to until he could figure out how to deal with the gang, knowing what it would mean for Andrea and Brock, but thinking on it, now, I don't think much would change. But maybe someone could think of something.
If Jesse was able to get out of the compound, he'd need to get to Andrea and Brock fast and figure out a plan before the nazis find out and pay them a visit. Perhaps he can get them to hide at Andrea's mother's place, which the gang doesn't know about. However, he'd have a much harder time getting the money for them to disappear as Todd, and the others, would still be alive and on full alert, and Jesse would most likely end up being caught, tortured and killed by the gang, but not give up Andrea and Brock's location. The gang, and Lydia, would then probably cut their losses, tie up all other loose ends (i.e. Skylar), and skip town before Walt shows back up.
I recently realized that Jesse calling Walt and informing Walt about the Krazy 8 situation saved Walt and Hank’s life(for a while) If he hadn’t called Walt Skyler wouldn’t have been made aware of Jesse which means she would never had told Hank about him which means Hank wouldn’t have tracked down Jesse’s car or have a shootout with Tuco. Because of that Hank would have been killed by the turtle bomb since he wouldn’t have a PTSD attack and Gus would have no way of tricking the twins to attack a different target than Walt.
I feel like upon Hank showing up in the RV, Walt would've turned on Jesse, claiming he was being forced into cooking meth by him, similarly to how later in the original story Walt makes his "confession" video claiming Hank was the mastermind behind the meth operation and he was simply a mule, and given just how naive Hank is when it comes to his family, he'd more or less buy it.
I have a question for you, Murge. Why would Lionel leave Marco's body there after killing Hank? Why wouldn't he take his body with him to a) give his brother a proper burial and b) not let the DEA identify him as a mexican national and member of the cartel? Also I don't think that Gus would just simply be shot in the head for this. He would perhaps be questioned more, but at least definitely tortured very, very badly. Edit: Also, I think that Gus would have someone follow the twins when they go after Hank to kill them in case Hank fails. The way you described it here, Gus is very careless. In the original story he somehow knew exactly when to warn Hank, exactly one minute before the attack so clearly someone was watching the whole thing go down and informed Gus.
This one is honestly full of holes. Like, seems unlikely that within 12 hours Mike manages to get to Todd's uncle and conduct the hit. Plus, at this point, Walt most likely wouldn't be in jail just yet but still in the police station's custody.
This is probably the best Hisenverse what-if of 2024. You've done a spectacular job with this one. Bravo, Murge Productions and everyone else involved. 👏
My opinion on what would happen in this theory: Walt takes Saul’s advice to trade Gus, and since he didn’t do too much to Hank at this time, he could get away with it knowing that he “did it for the family” Hank is also promoted similar to season 5 episode 1 due to both catching Walt, and Merkert’s ties to Gus while not catching Gus. However, unknown to Walt at the time since he only knew Mike worked for Saul not Gus too during season 3, Mike would want revenge on Walt, Saul didn’t know Mike had it in him to go after anyone since he was used to BCS morality Mike and not “I will break your legs” Mike that caused them to cut ties during the season 3 finale. Mike goes after Saul, and since they didn’t plan it out, he has not fake information to give, and Mike out of the anger of the situation kills his former colleague, then goes after Walt. He also kills Walt, leaving Skyler and his family alive because they “were not in the game” He can clean up both crime scenes easily and evade the cops, and takes Walt’s money, as well as all the money he had before. He then puts it in Stacy’s house, with a note, saying how he has to leave, but everything he did he did for his family. He is upset he cannot say goodbye, person like how it actually happened, but he could at least leave a note. He leaves town with a go bag with a fake passport and some money like he was originally going to. The cousins then are able to attack Hank, but he has gotten extra security after Walt was killed since they now realized who they were up against with the rest of Fring’s crew being out of blood. Therefore, the cousins were taken down by Hank’s security. Joan Bolsa is able to get his police chief brother to have him get connected to Gus, since Bolsa figured out exactly what happened, and Gus now realizes he is safer in prison than outside of prison. In addition, Gus is able to get a phone call and uses it to call Hector, who he taunts about the twins and Tuco all being dead, the jail seemingly looks the other way knowing that Hector likely has done way worse crimes than Gus even though he was not arrested. Gus feels that he did enough of the mission of revenge against hector, and is okay enough with this situation.
That arrest was never going to hold up. As was pointed out in the show, Hank had no warrant and no legitimate reason he could prove that would make him think illegal activity was going on in there. Anything that came from it would be discarded.
True, could even get the scrapyard guy to testify that he told Hank to leave his property, making it even more ironclad. But Gus would still kill Walt, he is far too big a liability at that point.
@@roguemerc He well may have done. But it wouldn't happen the way this video portrayed. Walt would not be locked up because Hank's arrest would have been totally bogus.
What if Gus actually let Tyrus go in to give hector the lethal Injection? Usually he would never do this but what if he suprised everyone by accepting tyrus offer to do it. Could change a whole lot of things in the story, especially if hector blows himself up anyways and gus starts to investigate.
I think Gus went down a little easily in this alternate timeline. I feel like even though it was short notice he would've made a more cautious play before going over the border or perhaps would've been more manipulative. Maybe he cites that he wanted to keep the peace between him and the Salamancas by allowing the assassination of Hank, and he didn't allow them to kill Walt because he was even more hot of a target than Hank while in custody for federal crimes. It'd also explain why he made the move to have him assassinated while inside the prison. I think he could appeal to Lionel as having done his family a favor while offering condolences for the loss of Marco. He could say Walt was a competitor he already had plans to deal with, since he was vague enough to the twins when he said he still needed him alive. Other than that change I had in mind, great work!
I think Walter would give up being a meth cook after seeing Hank’s death, having the epiphany he did during Ozymandias way sooner here. As for Jesse, he gets off Scott free from the cops and probably dies from an overdose with Jane eventually
@@spider-man8186I lowkey see Skylar and Marie (especially Marie, because she literally does so in the series - and this would be Skylar before she came around to Walter's whole deal) blaming Walt, because Hank went looking for him through Jesse who Walt was connected to. With one breadwinner of the family gone and the other about to leave as well soon, the family would be in the worst place it'd have ever been, and I think all that stress would push Walt back into cooking again, because as he said, it made him feel "alive".
@@mappingshaman5280It has nothing to do with the meth business, and Marie already has shown that she would blame Walt if Hank got hurt as a result of his connection to Jesse Pinkman, and Skylar would soon come to not believe the fugue state excuse that he'd have used to distance himself from the incident. It doesn't have to be that serious, it just needs to be enough to create enough resentment. Which it absolutely would be. Marie spends the entire series literally jumping at every chance to blame Walt for something, and Skylar was already starting to resent him.
Heres one i am interested in. What if Gus died from the poison after killing the salamancas in the episode “Salud”. Maybe the poison was stronger than intended, or Mike gave bad directions to Jesse while shot and bleeding out and caused them arrive to Gus’s medical team later than in the original timeline. I imagine Gus would have plans in place in case he was out of commission for a time, for instance a surgery, but these would likely involve Mike, who is currently recovering from being shot. And of course with Gus dead who knows how applicable these plans would even be. Would there be plans to destroy evidence, or even facilities like the super lab? Would Jesse be forced to wait for Mike to recover before making their way over the border? And what the hell would happen to Walt, considering the order to fire him and kill hank was made after Gus recovered, and right now there is a massive power vacuum? Would love to see how you work with this idea, and of course id be willing to clear up any confusion if my explanation wasn’t clear.
I like this one, as it would make a lot of interesting changes going into Season 5. They'd likely have time to sort out the survailance equipment from the lab, meaning they wouldn't attack the evidence storage, thus revealing the hidden accounts - so everyones money would stay safe, meaning Mike wouldnt have to stay in the game. Walt wouldnt have the opportunity to turn Jesse back to his side, so jesse would still be quite antagonistic towards him. With Gus dead and Mike out, Jesse probably gets out the game too, likely with a lot of money. Hank would have a lot of difficulty proving anything to do with Gus, especially with him dead. It'd probably end with Walter just furious - Gus is dead so he and his family is safe, but all his money is gone, and he's basically back to square one. Even the Heisenberg name isnt as big given he never killed Gus.
Hi Murge! I don't remember any great Hank lines off the top of my head, but I've always loved Schraderbrau. There's something refreshingly wholesome about Hank when he's just enjoying his hobbies.
favorite hank line? "i'll avenge you, gomey" from the secret ending where you collect all the minerals in the overworld 5:00 honestly hank might just be like "hey walt i hate to tell you this but pinkman here is a drug dealer" and just not suspect walt at all lmfao 9:40 saul boutta get all the evidence in the RV voided (unlawful searches and seizures) and get walt and jesse off the hook
He'd still have get Jesse to agree to not to cook and sell on his own. Assuming Walt is still able to bring Jesse in, then we have Walt, Gale and Jesse working together. Assuming Jesse still skims off the meth, either Gale find out, tells Gus, and Jesse gets gutted or Jesse gets away with it, starts dating Andrea, finds out about her brother and Combo, those two goons kill Andrea's brother, Walt runs them over to save Jesse, and with Gale having figured out Walt's recipe, Gus just has Walt killed and maybe Jesse gets away with Saul's help. But honestly, since Walt only sabotage Gale to bring Jesse in, the most likely sicario is that Gus never allows Walt to bring Jesse in, Mike kills Jesse so he doesn't cause trouble, Hank still survives the twins ambush, but the trail goes cold after he gets out, Walt and Gale cook together until Gus wipes out the cartel. Basically, it's just "What if Jesse let Gale live" or "What if Jesse and Jane OD'd" over again. Unfortunately for Gale, he needs to be out of the way or Jesse, Walt, or both are just screwed.
@ProfessorChaos56 Hopefully, Jesse grows a brain and realises that stealing would be too risky with the extra variable that is Gale, so no group therapy sessions, no meeting Andrea, no learning about Tomas, and no idiotic suicide attempt resulting in Walter jumping in to save him and leading to the rest of the clustertruck that is the rest of the series.
@@mattwayne9128 I don't know, Jesse didn't seem aware of what thin ice he was on in season 3. If Jesse doesn't steal, maybe Gus' plan goes off without a hitch and he dismisses Walt and Jesse afterward and they get back to their lives. Then assuming that is enough for the pair of them, they retire, but that assumes Jesse doesn't do something else stupid and Walt accepts that he is handing his potential empire over to Gus. Maybe Walt can sweet talk Gus into keeping him and just letting Jesse out, but even so, they have to walk a fine line, because if either of them mess up, Gus won't hesitate to kill them now that Gale knows the formula.
@ProfessorChaos56 The only reason Jesse stealing continued as long as it did was because Walter did not want to confront Jesse about it. He caught on to the fact that the numbers weren't adding up quick, but just kept playing coy. Gale definitely would as well. With Gale there, and the possibility of Gus being alerted by him existing, Walt would be explicit in letting Jesse know that the stealing can not continue. Yeah, Jesse would've screwed something else up for sure, but I don't really see Walt getting dragged into it the way he was in the series.
favourite Hank quote: "You exuberant Mexicans..." Gomez: "uh-uh, Cap'n Cook? That's a white boy's name, dopey as hell, too." I hate the DEA but they had serious chemistry and the scene with Gomie at the laundromat is mad underrated, the heroin story was smooth as butter.
What if Nacho's pill switch failed? What if Nacho spilled the pills, missed the throw, or if Hector looked up to say something to Nacho and caught him?
When he talks about him having a job in the Forrest when he was younger and he explains to Walter that it was better than chasing monsters it makes him more grounded and relatable and overall a complex character
I liked this quite a bit except one thing: Leonel wouldn't just leave Marco's body in Hank's garage. He wasn't shot or anything, perfectly healthy & also both of those twins are quite jacked so could easily deadlift each other's weight. There is simply no reason for him to leave so much evidence behind AND not give a proper burial to his brother, something that is considered fairly serious in most Mexican cultures (as previously established even in the show with Gonzo's obsession for "giving No-Doze a proper burial"). Sure you could argue maybe he didn't want to be seen dragging a body into his car, but that's a LOT better than leaving one behind on a silver platter for the DEA.
1 - What if Hank killed Jesse in the brutal massacre of that same episode? 2 - What if Jesse seriously taken his revenge and seriously payed some Mexican cartels to enslave Hank? 3 - What if Salamanca twins were killed shortly before they ambushed Hank (likely from a sniper payed by Gus) and he assists to the crime scene? 4 - What if Skyler and Flynn accepted to listen Walt and they escaped with him in Ozymandias?
Amazing video as always. I would have suggested that Saul and Walt kind of throw Jesse under the bus, and pretend Walt was just trying to buy pot to treat his cancer. That way they can at least get Walt out on bail at least until Hank is taken out or some Slippin Jimmy scheme to bring doubt into the case. I'm not a lawyer, but it's my understanding that some kind of reasonable doubt will make it more likely for someone to get out on bail. This could lead to Jesse squealing to Hank, until Hank is out down, then Jesse gets too scared to talk. Maybe Gus would stage a self deletion of Walt since he'd be a liability. I love your story, that was just my immediate thought to Hank catching Walt in the RV.
Great job Murge! Here's an idea: What if Mike didn't take the job from Daniel Pryce? Without doing that, he wouldn't have met Nacho, and therefore he would not be involved in helping Nacho learn how to cover up withholding Hector's medicine and so on...
i honestly thought that walter would've tried to come up with some "good" explanation as to why he was in the RV with jesse, like something along the lines of trying to buy some more pot lmao. anyways, another great video from you, Murge! and quite a long one too, so that's such a treat. can't wait for whatever new stuff we get! kinda rough to hear how everything went to shit in this story though, not as in the quality, but like everyone's lives, damn.
I'm not sure about this one. Hank really just said "nuh-uh" when Saul confronted him about the warrant thing only for Saul to respond "Understandable, have a great day." But everything after was pretty solid at least in the sense that it was enjoyable and thrilling. If you end up continuing this I do like the idea of Skyler trying to use her newfound fortune to hire the two (actual) best hitmen west of the Mississippi to dispatch of those she deems responsible for her husband's death, in the same vein as a theory around another renowned crime drama.
You need to re-do what if lalo didnt kill howard becuase the original is not very good In my opinion. Also you should do what if walter didnt rat out jesse in ozymandias. But anyways this probably my favorite heisenverse story yet, keep up the great work!
i like this. the only major problem i see is that Walt wouldnt be in a situation where other inmates could get to him. he would likely be isolated, especially that soon after his arrest. it would be better to have a much more elaborate scheme involving a dirty cop (Walt may still be in a booking cell) or a corrections officer.
Well if this happened, there would be four main problems: Walt, Jesse, hank, and the RV. This means we have a quad-core situation. The new quad-core situation has gone into the malpractice of the opposition connected to prospect of this situation; considering we need to reduce our quad-core situation to single-core, and from there get rid of the whole malodorous-oppressed situation, quad-core = x. Tri-core = y. Duo-core = z. Single-core = m. Looking into the hypotenuse of the Superterms through the tri-core situation, we must add those together which is 63, and add our quad-core terms which would be 92. The microspect between our prospect and retrospect considers the physiotonic analogy, which includes the formula of (x-y)/5. 92-63=29, 29/5= 5.8. The new Pythagorean theorem style value of our now tri-core situation is now 5.8, measured in panslots (pnst). Considering that is a decimal and not a whole number, we must bypass the hypothesis’s hypotenuse style Pythagorean theorem and break it. This style of Pythagorean gives us the imaginary sequence to become factual; so we will say since it’s a decimal, the situation has gone mal-core. That’s our only sequence that we can use in this theorem’s law. So now, since mal-core doesn’t exist, in the theoretical sense of things, this situation is mal-core meaning the whole situation now doesn’t exist. This means that we have bypassed not only the hypothesis’s hypotenuse style Pythagorean theorem and broken it, but we have also bypassed and skipped a duo-core situation and a single-core situation. That being done in the theoretical terms of the hyponetero prospect terms, we have officially deleted the situation. Well done. So effectively, hank would just walk out as if nothing ever happened.
I love these. It’s really clear that you put a lot of effort into how your write these out. Down to the way characters might interact in a situation and the writing style/tone of the show in general. It must be such fun, too. You’re essentially doing what friends might do whilst talking about the show “imagine if that guy survived?!” “Imagine if they failed?!” etc, but methodically thinking through it and “simulating” an outcome, in a way. I’m curious how you got the idea?
Saul gets disbarred. Either that or he sucks up hard to Howard and actually becomes a honest lawyer this time. Either way, no Slippin' Jimmy for Walt and Jesse. It's possible they get caught in the same incident of this very video.
A really great idea I had was what if Mike didn’t get involved in the drug business until Walt came by. He never got employed by pryce and thus never met Nacho and thus Gus. He still would know Saul and their relationship wouldn’t be too different. Also, obviously this would lead to Lalo probably not meeting Saul and his life not changing like it did. I’d like to think it possible that Nacho still maybe could’ve poisoned Hector. The situation with Lalo and Gus is something that’d be entirely up to you to decide the outcome of. Anyway, by the time BB rolls around Mike would be hopping from small job to small job until one day Saul would call him in to help Walt. Pretty much, this would happen some time after Walt meets Saul and for some reason Walt would decide that he would want some extra help in the business, whether it be muscle or just help. Instead of Huell or anyone else, Saul decides to ring up an old acquaintance who he thinks could be useful so long as Walt is willing to pay. Immediately the dynamic is different and I could imagine there to be some tension between them at first due to their conflicting personalities. Walt trying to control everything while Mike corrects him at every point (cleaning up after him). Mike would probably hover by Walt’s house a lot and eventually if everything with Tuco is the same, the Salamanca twins would come after Walt but I feel like Mike would be able to subdue them both. Also, I feel like Skylar would probably catch on to Mike being around and Walt would have to make some excuse on why he’s there so much similar to Jesse. Mike would probably gravitate more to Jesse speaking of him. He might initially not like him but I feel like they would grow close than he would to Walt. Overall a funny interesting story I’d like to see you cover. (I also suggested what if Walt and Jesse had an actually healthy relationship before which is also a cool one IMO)
Definitely would be a long one that changes the verse a lot so it should be either a long video like this one or a multiple parter since it has so many effects from just one character
So you did a What-If around Ozymandias, "What If Walter Sent Skyler To Belize?" Now I ask you, what if that struggle went another way? "What If Skyler Sent Walter To Belize?" Walter struggles with her to get the knife, and acting on instinct and without thinking, Skyler stabs Walter and he dies on the kitchen floor. The great Heisenberg is dead at his wife's hand.
@ Nah bro Howard promised to go after them and prob would’ve sobered up and planned revenge. Hes got the resources for it, plus Jimmy and Kim wouldn’t have split. A ton would’ve happened and we might get a Walter Kim scene I rly wanna see our boy cook with this.
"I've seen better acting in an epileptic whorehouse" is just pure gold. Hell, the best banter in the series imo is the one between Hank and Saul, happens a few times, but it's always gold 😂😂
What if the Salamancas lived? Tuco suspects Nacho's against him and kills Nacho -> Hector never has a stroke -> Lalo replaces Nacho -> Lalo, with Hector on his side, kills Gus -> Tuco never dies -> Marco and Leonel never seek revenge -> the cartel never gets poisoned Possible Walter and Lalo interaction???
Let me take a crack. Let's see here, Tuco is unstable so if he even thinks Nacho is a problem, he'll kill him, so that part works. Nacho never brings Mike in to kill Tuco, so Gus never meets Mike. My problem then becomes why does Lalo come in. Lalo only comes in to take over once Tuco is in jail and Hector is in the chair. Tuco probably replaces Nacho with Crazy 8 and Crazy 8 with Emilio. From here it goes two ways: 1) Hector leaves Tuco be. Tuco is dangerous, but not very smart, so Gus probably still builds the super lab successfully. Things still progress till Walt and Jesse are with Tuco in the desert. Hector isn't there this time, so Jesse and Walt successfully poison Tuco, but Hank is unable to get the drop on him, so Tuco kills Hank. Walt and Jesse are taken to Mexico and forced to cook for the cartel. Tuco dies from the ricin, but Walt and Jesse get away with it. Gus goes through with his plan to poison the cartel, it works, they all die. Maybe Walt and Jesse are rescued by Gus taken back to the states, are allowed walk away after cooking for Gus for a time and teaching Gale the superior cook. 2) Hector, concerned about Tuco's habit of killing his own men, steps in to help run things. Hector gets suspicious of Gus and brings Lalo in to investigate. Without Mike to keep it hidden, Lalo gets wise to the plan and kills Gus (like you said). We'd probably still get to Walt and Jesse cooking. From here it takes a similar route. Hank still dies, Tuco still dies from the ricin, Walt and Jesse are still taken to Mexico. However, with no Gus there to possible save them, there Walt and Jesse are enslaved to the cartel, much like how Jesse was enslaved to Jack. Big maybe, but maybe after things die down after Tuco's death, Lalo takes Tuco's place back in the states and brings Walt and Jesse back with him and they return to their lives, only under Lalo's thumb. Either way, a few things happen. Mike never becomes embroiled in the cartel's mess. Jimmy/Saul never defends Lalo, his rep is never ruined, he never goes through the trauma of "Bagman', "Plan and Execution", and "Point and Shoot". Howard never dies of course, maybe Jimmy and Kim still do the scam on him, maybe they don't. And like I said, Hank and Tuco both still die. And there we have it. Number 2 seems to be what you had in mind, minus Tuco still dying. What do you think?
Might be just me, but I don't see Lalo coming in just to replace Nacho. Maybe he might come in to handle Gus? Besides, Hector was already moving mad crazy because Gus was being allowed to take over his operations. Even if Nacho didn't do anything, Eladio might've gotten Hector axed himself if he didn't start to behave.
What if Jesse had lost the second coin toss? Saul only recognized them when Walt started coughing, so what if Jesse had been the one to meet Saul the first time?
One thing that bothers me a bit about this one: What causes the twins to go after Hank at his home and not the parking lot, as they did in the series? Aside from needing one of them to survive unharmed (or with minor injury at most), that point felt a bit forced. The warrant part fits Hank's character pretty well, but there's no doubt he would have gotten it if he kept his cool, so Walt and Jesse would just have stewed for an hour or two until it came through and the scenario would probably have played out the same (minus Saul being able to use the lack of a warrant in Jesse's defense)

So if Walter was suddenly on the table due to possibly turning rat, Gus would have cleared the hit, Walter would have been killed in his cell by cartel, and Hank would never have been targeted.
Probably why in this he didnt find out Walt was in jail til after he sent the twins after Hank

@@Red_Platinuum Then Breaking Bad happens without the criminal lawyer. And Walter and Jessie don't stand much of a chance.

Mike would adamantly be against letting Jimmy/Saul (and/or) Kim near Gus. It'd be a unnecessary risk all things considered.
"Jesus Christ, Marie, they're minerals!"
In this scenario, Hank's breaking in to the RV without a warrant was a 4th Amendment violation--an unreasonable search.
For the above reasons, the scenario was simply not believable.
someone else in this comment section stole your comment.

@@arcticjackwBro just wants to share knowledge

@@arcticjackw It was well written, but I think it would've been more enjoyable had they gone the route Grump mentions
Yeah I do find it weird that Gus didn’t give Hank a warning like he did In the series
The only part I dont really agree with is Mike reaching out to Jesse. Gus would have no reason to believe Jesse was anything more than a contemptable junkie. Jesse wouldn't ever have the chance to actually prove himself to Gus
"What if Jesse killed Krazy 8?"
"What if Gale had been with Walter during Fly?"
What if Jesse bided his time on his escape from Jack's Gang."
Nothing changes in either of them scenarios
Nothing changes
"If I go to jail, you're going with me.''
Gale in The Fly that was just me having fun, but that does have some implications for Jesse.
I recently realized that Jesse calling Walt and informing Walt about the Krazy 8 situation saved Walt and Hank’s life(for a while)
If he hadn’t called Walt Skyler wouldn’t have been made aware of Jesse which means she would never had told Hank about him which means Hank wouldn’t have tracked down Jesse’s car or have a shootout with Tuco.
Because of that Hank would have been killed by the turtle bomb since he wouldn’t have a PTSD attack and Gus would have no way of tricking the twins to attack a different target than Walt.
Hmmmm, might make for an interesting story.
I’ll use that
Didnt Hank only get the El Paso promotion because he took down Tuco?
…hmmm also true, but I can make it work
I feel like upon Hank showing up in the RV, Walt would've turned on Jesse, claiming he was being forced into cooking meth by him, similarly to how later in the original story Walt makes his "confession" video claiming Hank was the mastermind behind the meth operation and he was simply a mule, and given just how naive Hank is when it comes to his family, he'd more or less buy it.
Interesting
I've refused to believe that Mike would work with Jack

Because he just had a shoot out and maybe police were coming
This one is honestly full of holes.
Like, seems unlikely that within 12 hours Mike manages to get to Todd's uncle and conduct the hit.
Plus, at this point, Walt most likely wouldn't be in jail just yet but still in the police station's custody.
Bro keep on making what ifs. Im definitely gonna keep on watching.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is probably the best Hisenverse what-if of 2024. You've done a spectacular job with this one. Bravo, Murge Productions and everyone else involved. 👏

My opinion on what would happen in this theory:
Walt takes Saul’s advice to trade Gus, and since he didn’t do too much to Hank at this time, he could get away with it knowing that he “did it for the family”
Hank is also promoted similar to season 5 episode 1 due to both catching Walt, and Merkert’s ties to Gus while not catching Gus.
However, unknown to Walt at the time since he only knew Mike worked for Saul not Gus too during season 3, Mike would want revenge on Walt,
Saul didn’t know Mike had it in him to go after anyone since he was used to BCS morality Mike and not “I will break your legs” Mike that caused them to cut ties during the season 3 finale.
Mike goes after Saul, and since they didn’t plan it out, he has not fake information to give, and Mike out of the anger of the situation kills his former colleague, then goes after Walt. He also kills Walt, leaving Skyler and his family alive because they “were not in the game”
He can clean up both crime scenes easily and evade the cops, and takes Walt’s money, as well as all the money he had before.
@@gyver8448 Many people have definitely been locked up for significant amounts of times in situations cops have zero usable evidence against them.
That’s what I’m talking about! We need more of those longer episodes. No matter how long it takes.
lol you got it
What if Gus actually let Tyrus go in to give hector the lethal Injection?
Other than that change I had in mind, great work!
what if Jesse never found out about the poison and went with Ed the disappear'er? then Hank would have nothing to stand on against Walt.
Suggestion: What if Tuco and Hank died together in their confrontation?
@@mattwayne9128I doubt either would seriously blame walt since skyler didn't know he was in the meth business yet
At least Jessie didn't get the "Rocky" treatment in this alternate Hisenverse timeline. 😅
what if walts explosive killed him and Tuco?
Then Jessie is kinda cooked with the hospital bills and having the authorities on him for further questions.
"this is not meth"

"i'll avenge you, gomey" from the secret ending where you collect all the minerals in the overworld
5:00 honestly hank might just be like "hey walt i hate to tell you this but pinkman here is a drug dealer" and just not suspect walt at all lmfao

I really love these alternative videos! You do pretty good analysis. Keep up!
Thanks for watching!
I've suggested this more times in the past, but what if Walter actually started working with Gale and didn't sabotage him
He'd still have get Jesse to agree to not to cook and sell on his own.
What if Walt never mentions the second cell phone before his surgery

Nice. You are the first person to get that without me spelling it out, good job
I'm not sure about this one. Hank really just said "nuh-uh" when Saul confronted him about the warrant thing only for Saul to respond "Understandable, have a great day."
But everything after was pretty solid at least in the sense that it was enjoyable and thrilling. If you end up continuing this I do like the idea of Skyler trying to use her newfound fortune to hire the two (actual) best hitmen west of the Mississippi to dispatch of those she deems responsible for her husband's death, in the same vein as a theory around another renowned crime drama.
Yeah I don’t really know how the law works, but it sounds good if you don’t think too hard lol , but thanks for your comment bro, and I love the idea.
I feel like Gus would've notified Hank still
Additionally I also think Walt would've immediately pulled the "I'm doing it for my family" card to Hank

Not my finest hour, I’ll admit it
The funny thing is, Hank already had probable cause because he knew the RV was stolen
Gus sending two professional hitmen vs. one unsuspecting, middle-aged, obese cop: "Welp, they're as good as dead, no way this gets back to me."
Lmao
i like this. the only major problem i see is that Walt wouldnt be in a situation where other inmates could get to him. he would likely be isolated, especially that soon after his arrest. it would be better to have a much more elaborate scheme involving a dirty cop (Walt may still be in a booking cell) or a corrections officer.
“Walt, I don’t know man. You’ve been seeming sus lately.”
“Agent Shraeder! Just the guy I wanted to see. So, do they not teach you about warrants at Quantico?”
Lol
Still this: What if Walter admitted he was in danger and confessed to Hank about Gus using him?
What if Marie really was in a car accident at the same time hank was at the junkyard?
What if Jimmy McGill joined HHM before the pilot under Chuck’s watchful eye.

Thanks for the comment bro as far as my process I just get stoned and think lol

My favorite Hank quote is him humming Eye of the Tiger.

What if the cartel never killed Gustavo’s partner
What if the assassination attempt on Lalo suceeded?
Saul gets disbarred. Either that or he sucks up hard to Howard and actually becomes a honest lawyer this time.
Either way, no Slippin' Jimmy for Walt and Jesse. It's possible they get caught in the same incident of this very video.
“Walt?”
“Uhh… oh no! Jessie pinkman my former student kidnapped me!”
*Hank proceeds to shoot Walter*
This was really good!
Thank you
A really great idea I had was what if Mike didn’t get involved in the drug business until Walt came by.

What if Jane never got back into drugs with Jesse Or What if Jane and Jesse never had any romance??

Cheers to you, too.

What if Saul listened to mike and didn't go to meet Walter?
What if Howard never showed up to Jimmy and Kim’s apartment?
The same as Normal just Howard doesnt die
@ Nah bro Howard promised to go after them and prob would’ve sobered up and planned revenge. Hes got the resources for it, plus Jimmy and Kim wouldn’t have split. A ton would’ve happened and we might get a Walter Kim scene I rly wanna see our boy cook with this.
@@eaglefangkaratedojo7473 i mean like Lalo would still turn up and hold one of them hostage and die trying to kill gus
"I've seen better acting in an epileptic whorehouse" is just pure gold.
Hell, the best banter in the series imo is the one between Hank and Saul, happens a few times, but it's always gold 😂😂
Nice, my favorite is when he was talking to Wendy lol
Not as depressing as I imagined when I suggested it, but still one of the best What Ifs that you have done
I tried my best to give it a happy ending, but thanks for the comment
What if the Salamancas lived?
Tuco suspects Nacho's against him and kills Nacho -> Hector never has a stroke -> Lalo replaces Nacho -> Lalo, with Hector on his side, kills Gus -> Tuco never dies -> Marco and Leonel never seek revenge -> the cartel never gets poisoned
Possible Walter and Lalo interaction???
Let me take a crack. Let's see here, Tuco is unstable so if he even thinks Nacho is a problem, he'll kill him, so that part works. Nacho never brings Mike in to kill Tuco, so Gus never meets Mike. My problem then becomes why does Lalo come in. Lalo only comes in to take over once Tuco is in jail and Hector is in the chair. Tuco probably replaces Nacho with Crazy 8 and Crazy 8 with Emilio.
From here it goes two ways:
1) Hector leaves Tuco be.
I like to believe there’s alternate universes where these episodes are the actual different versions of the show
We can only dream

Banger video, dude!
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
What if Jesse had lost the second coin toss? Saul only recognized them when Walt started coughing, so what if Jesse had been the one to meet Saul the first time?

What if neither Walter nor Jack's crew noticed Jesse was hiding under the car?
What if Walt & Skyler didn’t buy the car wash?
I've been waiting for this one for awhile!

"Comment down below your favorite Hank Schrader line, *just* so I know it's real."
...aight.
*"Wow, that sucked."* - Hank Schrader
Walt hehehe holy shit.-Hank
Oh man!! This was a good one!! Well done!! Fucking brutal!!
I think this is far enough in the show that Hank would just be shell shocked, and he wouldn’t react as aggressively towards Walt as he would Jesse
Videos like this really show how fragile the Breaking Bad timeline is.
