Dude, my car is parked outside. How did you guys drive my car without me knowing it. Lol I really love my 2023 230i, with the ELSD it handles amazingly. Enough pep to have fun and do slides but enough to control so you don’t end up in prison. Fuel efficient, good looks, amazing interior and infotainment. It really is an absolute gem of a car.
As an owner of one of the exact same cars I can give you my top complaints. I love this car so much but there are something’s I think can be made better. 1. Not enough drama. The exhaust note and engine noise is very quiet. You can hear something but I want more. Nothing and intake and exhaust can’t fix. Even going into sport mode the car is not much loader but it does improve on the cars behavior. 2. Body roll. I personally don’t like the amount of body roll, because I plan to autocross my 230i, but as far as a daily driver it is firm enough and has a nice float to it on the streets without compromising handling. 3. Back up camera is not as clear as I like 4. Power seats are slow to react. I actually use my back seat because I have 2 kids and the seats take long to slide forward when accessing the back seats. That is pretty much it. It is very difficult to not love this car. I handles amazing, looks terrific and is a head turner around town. It is a much better alternative to a Mustang ecoboost or Camaro RS, which are out dated compared to this car.
Thanks for sharing!! Do you have the M sport package because that will address some of the complaints you have! But even without it, not a bad platform to start with and make changes as needed!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yes I have the M sport and the dynamic handling, still body roll. A little disappointing but it is still very balanced in the corners. Only a problem because I plan to autocross. For a daily it isn’t a problem, it’s pretty damn good. There’s already some lowering springs available from a couple manufacturers. Should resolve most of my issues.
@@amac2612 it is automatic climate control. I leave my car at 71 degrees, it warms up when cold and cools down when hot. I don’t mess with it. I was thinking it was going to be an issue but it isn’t at all. Trust me, you won’t miss the hvac button. It was a huge concern at first but now I’m happy because ID8 is badass.
Daily driving, you’d never really even feel a difference. Maybe in rainy conditions or hard track or mountain driving, but in general, there’s really no difference in normal driving.
Nothing against your review but….“Budget friendly and fuel efficient sports car” is not what I’d call this. Because it’s a 2-door coupe, doesn’t make this a sports car, sports coupe maybe. $45K is not budget friendly for most folks who are reasonable with their budget either, that’s ridiculous. MSRP’s and what people are paying are getting completely out of hand….it’s no wonder everyone is upside down and have no savings.
I would still call this bmw that. With the right package it’s a good sportscar. The average price of a new car in todays market is $50K so a lot of people can buy this car. And you definition of what’s reasonable is going to be different from someone else. I agree with you that people don’t make the best decisions but that’s with anything. So if it’s not in your price range then it’s not reasonable. But when you compare it to other sportscars or more performance oriented ones, it’s a budget price.

My favorite BMW coupe car! Nice job bro.
It’s a nice bmw for sure!
Got my wife one this past weekend, traded in her Kona N, She loved the Kona N but she really loves her 230i with M sport pkg, Premium Pkg.
Sweet! This is a good choice for sure. Especially with the M Sport package. Good value for this car!
Getting mine this weekend
Congrats!
Can’t wait my will arrive next week
The 0-60 is 5.2 and someone already said something about the HP/TQ but besides that good job
Oh very cool!
How would this compare to the 230i with xDrive ?

why does it have the gloss black side skirt? i taught only the 240i had it
Could be a package that’s on this one, I can’t remember.
This has the M Sport package so it comes w that. It's specifically called shadow line package
More like 5.5 seconds NOT 4.5 0 to 60.
Don't know where u got that time from ?
It’s closer to 5 seconds.
What are you recording with?
Canon M50 and GoPro Hero 7 Black. Howe ver we just bought Hero 10s!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed is it on your head? I'm curious about the POV driving clips
Car and a Driver says 0-60 in 5.1 seconds for the 2022 230i coupe.
Looks like it’s closer to 5 seconds.
Will the 230xdrive be just as fun?
It would be no different than this car lol
255hp/295 torque
Yea I was slightly off, found those numbers as well on a few sites.
I feel like headlights are a little less “iconic”. But I’m opened minded ….
Yea not really on the trend from the normal bmw headlights but could also be because of the shape too.
0-60mph in 4.5 secs its more like 5.5 5.2 down hill lol
BMW says 5.5, but I saw some post it was quicker. BMW underrates a lot of their numbers.

I bought mine pretty base, I add only the thundernight metallic and I love it! Very nice to drive. I paid it only 37k
I got it last April, with the old dashboard. The new dashboard is disgusting.
@@dodgers4121- paid $39,500 for mine. Nice car !
