I've had a year old 400ex and brand first year Raptor stolen together with both recovered damaged, a less than year old Scrambler 500 and less than 2 year old RZR 900xp, and CBR 954 all taken and never seen again. This is all over 25 years but still boils my blood to think about. All were insured and covered but I hate the fact somebody got for free things they didn't earn or deserve. Only those who harm children are worse than thieves.

If other people are involved, do you need their permission or is it ok if you're just vague and don't use anything that could personally identify them unless you know who they are?

Man Chris, I go back and forth from wanting your life/ wishing I had a buddy like you to being happy I never ran into anything close to the things that have played out in your life. Your a cool stand up guy and always tell your stories as a somewhat cautionary tail that have a lesson for someone to take from them. You lived it. We get to enjoy and learn from it.

I tried running the VIN (used random numbers to fill in for the blurred ones) and the WMI returns a company named Country Comfort Corp. from Indiana. I want to say they made travel trailers guessing by the name, and as far as I'm aware, turning a trailer into a motorcycle is illegal, since it's a given that VIN swapping already is.
