I was compelled to share my testimony of being delivered and healed from schizophrenia. God is real and His power is unlimited in Christ. I am an ex-schizophrenic.
Can he Heal my narcissistic personality disorder? Is there any hope for me? I have npd and my whole personality and thoughts are all against god. In my mind the world revolves around me. I live in fantasy land in my mind. All I do is think about getting fame,glory,attention, and it’s like my brain has been hardwired this way. Idk how to survive without it. My mind is addicted to narcissistic supply. It’s a stronghold in my mind. How I do get a normal brain?A normal functioning personality? I want to be free. Idk who I am. I’m just evil. I don’t want to be this way. They say there’s no cure but will Jesus heal me and restore me to a normal thinking brain? Please how can I get free. I have experienced temporal healing from these thoughts but they always come back and when I get a little bit of healing from these thoughts my brain feels weird and I feel empty I feel like a zombie with no thoughts or happiness.

Julian Jauregui Hey Julian! 100% Jesus ABSOLUTELY can heal you of this. Here’s the thing my friend, Satan capitalizes on the fact that you are ignorant of his schemes, and I’ll tell you what they are and then you’ll see how ridiculous his attacks are. Firstly, you have 3 main things when it comes to your “heart” as the Bible refers to it: the mind, the will, and the emotions. Ok, so here’s the thing, the enemy of our souls Satan will seek to hijack our thoughts and often will speak to you in FIRST PERSON to try and convince you that these thoughts are originating from you when in fact they aren’t. They CAN be from you, but they can very likely also be from the enemy or a blend of BOTH. Enter the WILL. Your WILL or your ability to make choices is something that governs WHAT you think about. What you THINK about then affects the way you feel! So what the devil does is try to attack our minds with thoughts that then change the way we feel (enter shame, guilt, hopelessness, despair, defeat, self evaluation and self criticism that’s unreasonable) and then that causes us to act with our wills to take a certain action (drinking, fantasizing, taking drugs, getting upset etc)... what you HAVE TO REALIZE, is that God gave us the ability to CHOOSE with our WILL to think on things that we choose to think about which then changes the way we FEEL over time. In essence, faith or trust in Jesus is a decision we make with our WILL that then changes the way we think that then changes the way we FEEL... now you can see why Paul said in the New Testament “be not conformed to this world but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our minds”. He means that by using FIRST our will and choosing to meditate on scripture, good things, God and His goodness and faithfulness, over time we will begin to have our mind renewed. Does this make sense? Hit me back!
Julian, have you ever called on Jesus to save you? Have you ever asked Him to save you and forgive you of your sins? If so, then don’t despair, because this is a typical trick of the enemy to try and get you to think you’re STUCK with the diagnosis of NPD... look the fact of the matter is that if you’ve been born again (meaning you came to Jesus and repented of your sin ) then the very fact that this problem of narcissism bothers you is indicative of the fact that your true born again self hates the old nature you’re struggling against (ie the narcissistic tendencies you have). If this is the case then absolutely you have every reason to rest and trust that Jesus is working in your heart and will sanctify you and cleanse you of all of these things. You need only to “walk with the Lord” and “walk in the Spirit” which just means spending time each day seeking to know Jesus better thru prayer, bible reading and then applying what you learn to your life. When you’re reading scripture, ask God and pray as you’re reading it to have Him open up your understanding and to speak to you thru it. He will do this
Then why am I am suffering, disabled and cannot even remotely live - smile, laugh, cry, sleep, feel, think, etc and I am just suffering? I wish I had schizophrenia, instead of what I'm suffering from...
@@Eagle56770 I did a water only fast for 3 days I read the Bible , praised God , and asked him to heal my brother completely in Jesus name . It’s not about praying a perfect prayer , it’s about praying from your heart , God knows exactly what you are asking for .
Wow. What a great testimony. Can I check did he just stop the med entirely (cold turkey) after he was delivered, as we know, those med are addictive, and give you issues if you stopped them suddenly as your body has become dependent on them

Amen brother I had symptoms I was seeing shadows move hearing voices seeing blurry images I was stuck in my room for a year and three months nightmares every night sickness addiction about a year ago God saved me he presented himself to me he showed me the spiritual realm it was horrifying he showed me the truth I at the end I seen him he's real he cured me of everything it is demonic he showed me what was talking to me the shadows the blurry images there demons God is powerful God is good

In fact, it’s already in you b/c His Spirit is within all of us who have called on the name of the Lord for salvation. You just need to activate it! Here’s how: 1. Believe that God wants you to be able to pray in His heavenly language 2. Close your eyes and clear your mind. 3. Think of a letter and the sounds it makes 4. Believe that if you say the first sound that God will take over from there. 5. Take a step of faith by opening your mouth and saying the first sound and keep going 6. Keep it up for three mins Just like you say a prayer of faith to receive Christ as your Savior, you can take a step of faith to activate your heavenly prayer language. Many ppl over complicate this matter by waiting for a profound spiritual encounter. That’s not necessary. Like usual, Faith is the key to the Kingdom. Note: Your glossa should ebb and flow like a typical language, not be choppy or overly repetitive. Strive for a smooth flowing, well-varied prayer language. i hear you i have been suffering from schizophrenia as well which believe is not necessary and a true illness for me i think it was a spiritual wakening where all my senses were heightened especially my sixth sense but i would like to make a full recover as well from the insane medications they give us for rebelling against society's way of living

My wife was tied up by a medical treatment team, but we moved the country and now I'm praying for her healing. I was hallucinating and was not able to even go to the street for walk without freaking out of being scare, I started asking God and them in RUclips a video of David Wilkerson put open, so started listening to him, by one week of listening day and night plus reading the bible all the sudden something inside me told me you have nothing to be afraid I'm the God of the impossible, after that I receive this amazing peace and I not longer afraid Jesus has me and loves me, give your life to Christ and if will give you a new one

My Son has been diagnosed with Bipolar Psychosis in 2012. He had some issue but I didnt really understand it until 2012. He is 34. This came on him in 2003, as of a family situation that hurt him. There has been times when he is not Manic but it is just the enemy, who comes back in a year or so and attacks him again. I'm crying out at God's feet for him to be completely delivered and made whole. He has three children who needs him in his right mind. Please pray for him. Its so hard going through this for the whole family. I have faith. I know God can do it. Jesus was wounded for all sickness. Please pray for him. I am believing God for a wholeness, deliverence, and to set him completely free...Amen.
I had a nervous breakdown after a really bad break up because of my ex's temper ...and I imagined crazy stuff which was pretty much like being schizo. It was a scary time for me. God delivered me from it. God is the real reality and he delivers. Keep seeking him and he will set you free! Keep seeking him and surround yourself with people who seek him. I don't have Scitzophrenia but I believe this is true because of my own experience w/ God. I've had a severe social anxiety disorder my whole life (still do) and sometimes it feels like something's attacking my mind. It gives me headaches and a dark, creepy feeling in my heart but when I pray for it to go away in Jesus' name I feel like a huge pressure is released from me. When I used to get anxiety attacks and prayed they would instantly stop and I could breathe deeply again. Mental illness really is Satan trying to attack your mind , trying to make you give up.

I just got healed of tormenting panic. I ran from God and sinned terribly, but he had mercy. after repentance and my friend praying over me, the torment is gone!! hallugha!! praise our healer. now I stay on the narrow path. cuz I'm positive that torment was demons. and now I love God more cuz he showed me such love. I'm overjoyed!

"Negative feelings toward self...; God made us for a future and for hope..I relate to this video. Have been slowly tapering off my meds for depression/anxiety. Lots of neglect, abuse, abandonment in my past, but I always carried my Bible (children's Bible at first) throughout my years of homelessness and hunger, various addictions. With The Lord's help I've been able to maintain a job for 29 years, retire and now doing something I love, creating art. My days begin with The Word and end with a word of thanks to God. Tks for being honest and open and speaking the Word of God.
I used to live there but wasn't aware of the Center until two years ago. My family still live there, so I try to go there when I go visit. I also send others there.

I rejoice with you. I've never struggled with mental illness, but I've seen a lot of it. What you say about Christ is true. He walked into my life 42 years ago this very month. What an amazing Saviour He has been to me. I don't know why He did. I had no interest at all in spiritual matters. I was just as spiritually blind as all who don't know Him, but He saved me anyway. I would like to hear more about your testimony & schizophrenia. I have a friend with a mental illness, I have watched him go thru so many deliverances, almost daily but continues to be in bondage that goes in cycles of depression, anxiety, anger, violence, rage, confusion. His personality & decisions he makes switch from a matter of hours, 3 days or 2 weeks. It's been a year & I don't really know who is the real person I'm dealing with most the time. We don't understand y he doesn't get a total deliverance . Can u share some input on this?
dlints1 schizophrenics need both deliverance and healing! Also just because a person receives deliverance just covers the demons. But a persons mind must be renewed after deliverance and that is where the real work begins. It requires going before the Lord everyday, in praise, worship, prayer and reading of the word. The person cannot give up, this is what it takes for some who have demonic oppression on higher levels. But nothing beats a constant level of glory, being in the Lords presence has to heal and has to set free. It is like the law of gravity and I KNOW this person has not done that, or freedom would be at hand.

Facts! I jam the blackest metal music to geto boys where i grew up in the projects. Unmedicated schizo 20+ years. I have found peace. Only when i run does he put it back. Then i come right back and he takes it. I didn't need to puff my herb.
Schizoaffective can go into remission after the first episode for several months, even years. A relapse is devastating. God allows it for some reason. We need to connect.
Relapse happens only if you fall away from Lord. If you pray every day or read Bible or even worship with music demons won't be able to come near you. Especially when one is born again-recieve Holy Spirit
About 2.5 years ago, I began hearing scary voices purporting to be God and angels. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and put on antipsychotics. I spent all that time trying to get off the medication without success. The voices have been truly frightening, accusing me of sins and telling me that Jesus will not save me. In the last six months, I've been on depot injections of antipsychotics and have been much better. I skipped my last depot and have been going OK so far. I'm very much hoping for healing and not to have a life of living on antipsychotics.
I would be nice to hear more of your story. How were you before? What happened that set you free? What is the difference for you now compared to before?
There's more than hope. Our Heavenly Father is ready to show you His mighty deliverance through the salvation we have in our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. And the comfort we have in the Holy Spirit. Read and listen to scripture based teaching on all these things Gods forgiveness, love, mercy, goodness, compassion's, strength, omnipotence, perfection. Let His light fight whatever darkness is affecting you. Where there is God's light, there can be no darkness.
First, focus on your relationship with Jesus w/ an emphasis on Christian Discipleship and Deliverance/ Spiritual Warfare. Second, find a doctor who will work with you to lower ur med dosage when possible. Third, start working/ volunteering somewhere if u haven’t already.

I had schizophrenia and I thought there's no way out and so many others taking their own lives makes me consider sooner or later that's what gonna happen to me..cause sometimes it's unbearable what's going on inside and it felt so right to end it . I was delivered by Jesus. You can be delivered too. I know how desperate one feels but you must remember who's the ultimate and that's God. Watch a lot of deliverance material and freedom from fear as well as the love of God. Listen to scripture play Christian music start repenting and asking God to guide you declare the light of God over the darkness. He personally taught me His name Faithful God. Just through learning about Him. Be strong and very courageous God loves you and He can bring you out of schizophrenia.

I believe you but: is schitzoaffective disorder really the same as a psychotic or delusional psychosis and schitzophrenia? It's my understanding that it would not be the same at all. Please correct me if I'm wrong?
Schizoaffective disorder is within the "Schizophrenia umbrella." It is one of several different classifications used to describe the wide range of symptoms exhibited by people struggling with schizophrenia. For example, different doctors at different times would present me a different diagnosis, but they all fell under the schizophrenia banner. From what I understand, schizoaffective is used to describe schizophrenic behavior that exhibits itself as mainly manic or depressive. In other words, the patient exhibits much of either a lot of highs (manic) or a lot of lows (depressive), and is not so much bi-polar. I used to be manic. But I also could have been characterized as a paranoid schiz. as I heard voices, thought the TV was talking to me, etc.
According to wikipedia, and other medical pages I have red, those two aren't the same at all. It deosn't meet the criterias of a REAL SCHITZOPHRENIA; and hence they gave that name to the symptoms "Schitzoaffective disorder".wikipedia. "The diagnosis is made when the person has features of both schizophrenia and a mood disorder-either bipolar disorder or depression-but does not strictly meet diagnostic criteria for either alone." So, you never had a schitzophrenia, Just some of the similar symptoms. It doesn't take away your healing, or anything from your testimony.I just ask you not to use misleading title in your video saying your schitzophrenia was cured, if you never had it in the first place. Those two are very different in the end. But I wish you well, and hope you stay well!

+Mary Baggett in that case you might have to wait for a more opportune time. In other words it may serve your best interests to not pressure him now but wait until he starts to see he is struggling and then offer to come along side him. Ya know what I mean?

So i believe and i ask in your mighty name that you release your anointing upon William, his mind, his heart and his soul. Could you please pray for me and post the link that helped you on this site. I have struggled with schizophrenia for 8 years. I was never on drugs, did not leave a dirty life. I do not know where it comes from. I have the faith in God that God will deliver me.

My mom has schizophrenia... even tho she’s never been diagnosed I’ve seen it my whole life and my family as well but it’s to the point where we don’t know what to do for her or how to help her she’s doing things that make no sense and recently put her in danger and she doesn’t want to be helped she believes everything she hears. It’s heartbreaking.. I’ve been praying and praying to god for him to heal her & as well to help me be a good daughter and understand her & show me how I can help her. I don’t know what I can do for her because she doesn’t let herself be helped but I know I can pray. I have no idea when god will deliver her from this I tell her to get close to him and he will help her and she gets very angry and quickly gets off the phone which I know is the enemy who wants to keep her where she is but I know the day will come when I will see my mom happy & in peace as I once long ago faintly remember her. It gives me hope to see god can deliver us from anything. If you have any advice on how I can help her I would appreciate it.
Tough situation to be enduring Araceli. My heart goes out to you. Looking back, I think it was toughest on my parents. V grateful for them tough, as their faithfulness (I always had a place to stay and time to heal) allowed me the setting to get better. Obv keep loving on your mom the best you can and look for opportunities to encourage her in the way to go when she is open to/ facing that direction. Above all else, trust Him steadfastly.
I prayed and fasted for my bipolar step brother for 3 days water only and he was healed instantly. He is now completely normal and a strong Christian. The person you are praying for needs to want to be changed or healed by Jesus
I was diagnosed with sczophrenia. I take.meds for sczoaffective,bipolar, depression, anxiety, mood swings, suicidal attempts. This year Jan 3 I was in psych unit for an overdose of Benadryl..yes I believe in the Lord I am a Christian. I am on medsforsleep disorder, depression,bipolar,anxiety,regular depression. I also have mpd.

Hi David. How are you doing now? I am in prayer for my youngest sibling and hope he can come out of this. His is drug induced. Please pray for him and our family so we know how to deal with it because it's scary.
I deal with autism and a schizoaffective bipolar type mental illnesses. I also have dealt with polycystic ovarian syndrome and have a benign teratoma on my ovary that the doctors cannot remove without taking the ovary out. I have only one ovary left because the disease killed my other one. I also deal with lactose and gluten intolerance. I have been praying for almost three years for my healing. I feel God's presence and am drawing closer to him every day. I know that God is with me and He sees how I feel.

Please pray for me. I've been suffering from schizophrenia for six years. I've been to different men of God, different miracle services, all to no avail 😭 I have even fasted and prayed it's Been six years and my life is miserable
Back in 2019 God had delivered me from the spirit of lust and sexual sin after I did a 3 day water fast with lots of prayers, worship, bible reading and commanding the spirit of sexual to come out of me in the name of Jesus Christ and it did come out and on the 2nd day of the fast and I could finally taste victory. For anyone going through any spiritual problem that’s not getting solved through normal prayers I suggest you to follow this book, “Exercise Towards Godliness by Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj” I followed the steps written in this book but ultimately it was God’s grace and mercy which healed and delivered me from this strong demonic spirit of lust and sexual sin.
I don't know how so many don't believe you David, they just don't realize the power and authority of Jesus' name (the name above all names) and that mental illness is actually spiritual affliction from the enemy...Many think it's just electrochemical and neurological and that medicine is the way to go, but I can affirm (as an ex-schizophrenic myself) that His name can deliver from mental illness...He freed me! 2 Tim. 1:7 Thanks David, keep spreading the Word! In total, I was on meds for 11 years. Specifically, we reduced the dosage amount 3-4 times over the last 18-24 months. Also, I was very involved in church over those last two years and still am, (reg services, Bible studies, serving/ volunteering). Most importantly, I spent about 15 months focused on deliverance before being set free. The deliverance continued as the underpinnings of the illness had to be eradicated (insecurities, fears, lies, pride, etc.). I also recommend continuing to practice deliverance as life has a way of bogging us down otherwise. All in all, one must get the spirits out of themselves that are causing the mental illness. Currently I've been on meds for one year...one doctor(psychiatrist) says he will take me off and the other(family doctor) says it cant go without treatment. I have a big fear of the doctors trying to keep me on meds for life. I would have stopped already but they threaten to take my drivers license if I dont accept treatment. Any advice or insight you could give ? Did doctors ever tell you you have to stay on meds for life?

The simplest, best advice that I can pass on to you is to order a copy of the book, Pigs in the Parlor. It is a Christian book focused on spiritual warfare and deliverance. It has a chapter specifically dedicated to Schizophrenia. Pay particular attention to the chart and the last paragraph or two. WOW so much hate in the comments. I may not believe in your religion or your theory for schizophrenia. But I personally know what type of mental/soulful torment you had to experience before personally deciding on ONE VOICE to follow ONE PERSONA/CHARACTER to embody. Can he Heal my narcissistic personality disorder? Is there any hope for me? I have npd and my whole personality and thoughts are all against god. In my mind the world revolves around me. I live in fantasy land in my mind. All I do is think about getting fame,glory,attention, and it’s like my brain has been hardwired this way. Idk how to survive without it. My mind is addicted to narcissistic supply. It’s a stronghold in my mind. How I do get a normal brain?A normal functioning personality? I want to be free. Idk who I am. I’m just evil. I don’t want to be this way. They say there’s no cure but will Jesus heal me and restore me to a normal thinking brain? Please how can I get free. Here’s the thing my friend, Satan capitalizes on the fact that you are ignorant of his schemes, and I’ll tell you what they are and then you’ll see how ridiculous his attacks are. Firstly, you have 3 main things when it comes to your “heart” as the Bible refers to it: the mind, the will, and the emotions. Ok, so here’s the thing, the enemy of our souls Satan will seek to hijack our thoughts and often will speak to you in FIRST PERSON to try and convince you that these thoughts are originating from you when in fact they aren’t. They CAN be from you, but they can very likely also be from the enemy or a blend of BOTH. Enter the WILL. Your WILL or your ability to make choices is something that governs WHAT you think about. What you THINK about then affects the way you feel! So what the devil does is try to attack our minds with thoughts that then change the way we feel (enter shame, guilt, hopelessness, despair, defeat, self evaluation and self criticism that’s unreasonable) and then that causes us to act with our wills to take a certain action (drinking, fantasizing, taking drugs, getting upset etc)... what you HAVE TO REALIZE, is that God gave us the ability to CHOOSE with our WILL to think on things that we choose to think about which then changes the way we FEEL over time. In essence, faith or trust in Jesus is a decision we make with our WILL that then changes the way we think that then changes the way we FEEL... now you can see why Paul said in the New Testament “be not conformed to this world but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our minds”. He means that by using FIRST our will and choosing to meditate on scripture, good things, God and His goodness and faithfulness, over time we will begin to have our mind renewed. Julian, have you ever called on Jesus to save you? Have you ever asked Him to save you and forgive you of your sins? If so, then don’t despair, because this is a typical trick of the enemy to try and get you to think you’re STUCK with the diagnosis of NPD... look the fact of the matter is that if you’ve been born again (meaning you came to Jesus and repented of your sin ) then the very fact that this problem of narcissism bothers you is indicative of the fact that your true born again self hates the old nature you’re struggling against (ie the narcissistic tendencies you have). If this is the case then absolutely you have every reason to rest and trust that Jesus is working in your heart and will sanctify you and cleanse you of all of these things. You need only to “walk with the Lord” and “walk in the Spirit” which just means spending time each day seeking to know Jesus better thru prayer, bible reading and then applying what you learn to your life. When you’re reading scripture, ask God and pray as you’re reading it to have Him open up your understanding and to speak to you thru it. He will do this

I read the Bible , praised God , and asked him to heal my brother completely in Jesus name . It’s not about praying a perfect prayer , it’s about praying from your heart , God knows exactly what you are asking for .

God delights in giving the gift of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. In fact, it’s already in you b/c His Spirit is within all of us who have called on the name of the Lord for salvation. You just need to activate it!
Here’s how:
1. Believe that God wants you to be able to pray in His heavenly language
2. Close your eyes and clear your mind.
3. Think of a letter and the sounds it makes
4. Believe that if you say the first sound that God will take over from there.
5. Take a step of faith by opening your mouth and saying the first sound and keep going
6. Keep it up for three mins
Just like you say a prayer of faith to receive Christ as your Savior, you can take a step of faith to activate your heavenly prayer language. Many ppl over complicate this matter by waiting for a profound spiritual encounter. That’s not necessary. Like usual, Faith is the key to the Kingdom.
Note: Your glossa should ebb and flow like a typical language, not be choppy or overly repetitive. Strive for a smooth flowing, well-varied prayer language. You will experience the tangible results of praying in the Spirit within a few minutes if not moments.

i hear you i have been suffering from schizophrenia as well which believe is not necessary and a true illness for me i think it was a spiritual wakening where all my senses were heightened especially my sixth sense but i would like to make a full recover as well from the insane medications they give us for rebelling against society's way of living

My Son has been diagnosed with Bipolar Psychosis in 2012. He had some issue but I didnt really understand it until 2012. He is 34. This came on him in 2003, as of a family situation that hurt him. There has been times when he is not Manic but it is just the enemy, who comes back in a year or so and attacks him again. I'm crying out at God's feet for him to be completely delivered and made whole. He has three children who needs him in his right mind. Please pray for him. Its so hard going through this for the whole family. I have faith. I know God can do it. Jesus was wounded for all sickness. Please pray for him. I am believing God for a wholeness, deliverence, and to set him completely free...Amen.

I had a nervous breakdown after a really bad break up because of my ex's temper ...and I imagined crazy stuff which was pretty much like being schizo. It was a scary time for me. God delivered me from it. God is the real reality and he delivers. Keep seeking him and he will set you free! Keep seeking him and surround yourself with people who seek him. I don't have Scitzophrenia but I believe this is true because of my own experience w/ God. I've had a severe social anxiety disorder my whole life (still do) and sometimes it feels like something's attacking my mind. It gives me headaches and a dark, creepy feeling in my heart but when I pray for it to go away in Jesus' name I feel like a huge pressure is released from me. When I used to get anxiety attacks and prayed they would instantly stop and I could breathe deeply again. Mental illness really is Satan trying to attack your mind , trying to make you give up.

I ran from God and sinned terribly, but he had mercy. after repentance and my friend praying over me, the torment is gone!! hallugha!! praise our healer. now I stay on the narrow path. cuz I'm positive that torment was demons. and now I love God more cuz he showed me such love. I rejoice with you. I've never struggled with mental illness, but I've seen a lot of it. What you say about Christ is true. He walked into my life 42 years ago this very month. What an amazing Saviour He has been to me. I don't know why He did. I had no interest at all in spiritual matters. I was just as spiritually blind as all who don't know Him, but He saved me anyway. I would like to hear more about your testimony & schizophrenia. I have a friend with a mental illness, I have watched him go thru so many deliverances, almost daily but continues to be in bondage that goes in cycles of depression, anxiety, anger, violence, rage, confusion. His personality & decisions he makes switch from a matter of hours, 3 days or 2 weeks. It's been a year & I don't really know who is the real person I'm dealing with most the time. We don't understand y he doesn't get a total deliverance . Can u share some input on this?
dlints1 schizophrenics need both deliverance and healing! Also just because a person receives deliverance just covers the demons. But a persons mind must be renewed after deliverance and that is where the real work begins. It requires going before the Lord everyday, in praise, worship, prayer and reading of the word. The person cannot give up, this is what it takes for some who have demonic oppression on higher levels. But nothing beats a constant level of glory, being in the Lords presence has to heal and has to set free. It is like the law of gravity and I KNOW this person has not done that, or freedom would be at hand.

Schizoaffective can go into remission after the first episode for several months, even years. A relapse is devastating. God allows it for some reason. We need to connect.

About 2.5 years ago, I began hearing scary voices purporting to be God and angels. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and put on antipsychotics. I spent all that time trying to get off the medication without success. The voices have been truly frightening, accusing me of sins and telling me that Jesus will not save me. In the last six months, I've been on depot injections of antipsychotics and have been much better. I skipped my last depot and have been going OK so far. I'm very much hoping for healing and not to have a life of living on antipsychotics.

There's more than hope. Our Heavenly Father is ready to show you His mighty deliverance through the salvation we have in our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. And the comfort we have in the Holy Spirit. Read and listen to scripture based teaching on all these things Gods forgiveness, love, mercy, goodness, compassion's, strength, omnipotence, perfection. Let His light fight whatever darkness is affecting you. Where there is God's light, there can be no darkness.
How exactly do you get off the mental health services system???
First, focus on your relationship with Jesus w/ an emphasis on Christian Discipleship and Deliverance/ Spiritual Warfare. Second, find a doctor who will work with you to lower ur med dosage when possible. Third, start working/ volunteering somewhere if u haven’t already.

I was delivered by Jesus. You can be delivered too. I know how desperate one feels but you must remember who's the ultimate and that's God. Watch a lot of deliverance material and freedom from fear as well as the love of God. Listen to scripture play Christian music start repenting and asking God to guide you declare the light of God over the darkness. He personally taught me His name Faithful God. Just through learning about Him. Be strong and very courageous God loves you and He can bring you out of schizophrenia.

I believe you but: is schitzoaffective disorder really the same as a psychotic or delusional psychosis and schitzophrenia? It's my understanding that it would not be the same at all. Please correct me if I'm wrong?
Schizoaffective disorder is within the "Schizophrenia umbrella." It is one of several different classifications used to describe the wide range of symptoms exhibited by people struggling with schizophrenia. For example, different doctors at different times would present me a different diagnosis, but they all fell under the schizophrenia banner. From what I understand, schizoaffective is used to describe schizophrenic behavior that exhibits itself as mainly manic or depressive. In other words, the patient exhibits much of either a lot of highs (manic) or a lot of lows (depressive), and is not so much bi-polar. I used to be manic. But I also could have been characterized as a paranoid schiz. as I heard voices, thought the TV was talking to me, etc.
According to wikipedia, and other medical pages I have red, those two aren't the same at all. It deosn't meet the criterias of a REAL SCHITZOPHRENIA; and hence they gave that name to the symptoms "Schitzoaffective disorder".wikipedia. "The diagnosis is made when the person has features of both schizophrenia and a mood disorder-either bipolar disorder or depression-but does not strictly meet diagnostic criteria for either alone." So, you never had a schitzophrenia, Just some of the similar symptoms. It doesn't take away your healing, or anything from your testimony.I just ask you not to use misleading title in your video saying your schitzophrenia was cured, if you never had it in the first place. Those two are very different in the end. But I wish you well, and hope you stay well!

+Mary Baggett in that case you might have to wait for a more opportune time. In other words it may serve your best interests to not pressure him now but wait until he starts to see he is struggling and then offer to come along side him. Ya know what I mean?

Could you please pray for me and post the link that helped you on this site. I have struggled with schizophrenia for 8 years. I was never on drugs, did not leave a dirty life. I do not know where it comes from. I have the faith in God that God will deliver me.

My mom has schizophrenia... even tho she’s never been diagnosed I’ve seen it my whole life and my family as well but it’s to the point where we don’t know what to do for her or how to help her she’s doing things that make no sense and recently put her in danger and she doesn’t want to be helped she believes everything she hears. It’s heartbreaking.. I’ve been praying and praying to god for him to heal her & as well to help me be a good daughter and understand her & show me how I can help her. I don’t know what I can do for her because she doesn’t let herself be helped but I know I can pray. I have no idea when god will deliver her from this I tell her to get close to him and he will help her and she gets very angry and quickly gets off the phone which I know is the enemy who wants to keep her where she is but I know the day will come when I will see my mom happy & in peace as I once long ago faintly remember her. It gives me hope to see god can deliver us from anything. If you have any advice on how I can help her I would appreciate it.
Tough situation to be enduring Araceli. My heart goes out to you. Looking back, I think it was toughest on my parents. V grateful for them tough, as their faithfulness (I always had a place to stay and time to heal) allowed me the setting to get better. Obv keep loving on your mom the best you can and look for opportunities to encourage her in the way to go when she is open to/ facing that direction. Above all else, trust Him steadfastly.
I prayed and fasted for my bipolar step brother for 3 days water only and he was healed instantly. He is now completely normal and a strong Christian. The person you are praying for needs to want to be changed or healed by Jesus
I was diagnosed with sczophrenia. I take.meds for sczoaffective,bipolar, depression, anxiety, mood swings, suicidal attempts. This year Jan 3 I was in psych unit for an overdose of Benadryl..yes I believe in the Lord I am a Christian. I am on medsforsleep disorder, depression,bipolar,anxiety,regular depression. I also have mpd.

I deal with autism and a schizoaffective bipolar type mental illnesses. I also have dealt with polycystic ovarian syndrome and have a benign teratoma on my ovary that the doctors cannot remove without taking the ovary out. I have only one ovary left because the disease killed my other one. I also deal with lactose and gluten intolerance. I have been praying for almost three years for my healing. I feel God's presence and am drawing closer to him every day. I know that God is with me and He sees how I feel.

Sorry NC, didnt see ur post till now. God led me to a specific church where i met Jesus. It started w a divine appt at a psych office. That one DA led me to the right church and the right deliverance minister. #Only the Lord.

Back in 2019 God had delivered me from the spirit of lust and sexual sin after I did a 3 day water fast with lots of prayers, worship, bible reading and commanding the spirit of sexual to come out of me in the name of Jesus Christ and it did come out and on the 2nd day of the fast and I could finally taste victory. For anyone going through any spiritual problem that’s not getting solved through normal prayers I suggest you to follow this book, “Exercise Towards Godliness by Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj” I followed the steps written in this book but ultimately it was God’s grace and mercy which healed and delivered me from this strong demonic spirit of lust and sexual sin.

I don't know how so many don't believe you David, they just don't realize the power and authority of Jesus' name (the name above all names) and that mental illness is actually spiritual affliction from the enemy...Many think it's just electrochemical and neurological and that medicine is the way to go, but I can affirm (as an ex-schizophrenic myself) that His name can deliver from mental illness...He freed me! 2 Tim. 1:7 Thanks David, keep spreading the Word! How long until doctors take you off medication?
In total, I was on meds for 11 years. Specifically, we reduced the dosage amount 3-4 times over the last 18-24 months. Also, I was very involved in church over those last two years and still am, (reg services, Bible studies, serving/ volunteering). Most importantly, I spent about 15 months focused on deliverance before being set free. The deliverance continued as the underpinnings of the illness had to be eradicated (insecurities, fears, lies, pride, etc.). I also recommend continuing to practice deliverance as life has a way of bogging us down otherwise. All in all, one must get the spirits out of themselves that are causing the mental illness. Currently I've been on meds for one year...one doctor(psychiatrist) says he will take me off and the other(family doctor) says it cant go without treatment. I have a big fear of the doctors trying to keep me on meds for life. I would have stopped already but they threaten to take my drivers license if I dont accept treatment. Any advice or insight you could give ? Did doctors ever tell you you have to stay on meds for life?

The simplest, best advice that I can pass on to you is to order a copy of the book, Pigs in the Parlor. It is a Christian book focused on spiritual warfare and deliverance. It has a chapter specifically dedicated to Schizophrenia. Pay particular attention to the chart and the last paragraph or two.
Overall, the way out is: Jesus, discipleship, deliverance; Jesus, discipleship, deliverance; repeat until free.

But I personally know what type of mental/soulful torment you had to experience before personally deciding on ONE VOICE to follow ONE PERSONA/CHARACTER to embody.
