Just subscribed....being over 60, this was like getting in a time machine for me. I don't watch NASCAR now, this to me was NASCAR. That ride along, I almost heard Ned and Benny. Enjoy the life for the rest of us that never could.
Thanks for the comment and the support. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I know the feeling. It's such a blessing getting to put these cars back on these amazing tracks.
Great video, we wasn’t able to come early enough to see your earliest track time, so bummed to have missed it. But I haven’t seen or got caught up enough to find out what your misfire issue was??? I would love to know what u found was the culprit, and how you resolved it? With being so close to Petty Motorsports I bet the thought crossed your mind to swing by and get Kyle to ck her out, that would have been so awesome especially if you could have gotten it recorded for your channel. Maybe if it works out and you bring the 42 back, I wonder if you’d be interested in taking her (42) up to Randleman which is about 45 min north on hwy 220 to The Petty compound and possibly letting Kyle and the guys ck her out! I’m sure with it a SABCO it wasn’t built at Petty, or idk how and who done his chassis back then. None the less that would be some great content and a opportunity I’d love to see that if at all possible. I don’t think you realize it seems you have your own personal museum, and functioning race shop at the same time!! So jealous here lol you are the man keep up the hard work and keep the videos coming can’t wait to see what you are up to next and in the future!! Thanks again your friend in North Carolina coming from the home of the 1973 NASCAR champ.

About to drive here in 3 weeks. I can’t even believe it. A 2 day HPDE event. I’m 52 years old and when I think about it I’m 12 again….

Awesome video, thank you very much, you have such a beautiful car, I love it brings so many memories. How could someone join the track day?
Thanks so much! Get on Facebook and look up Rolling Thunder Racing. Great group of guys and track dates are being set for 2024.
That 42 Mello Yello scheme is one of my favorites.
Awesome video, hoping I can check out Hendrick HQ someday also! I'm a huge Gordon fan and now rooting for Byron. #24ever
You should swing by there someday. Very cool place!

Great Video Scott!! So great to see you again!! You need to move to NC!
Yes I do.
Great re-Cap S L! Thanks for sharing!
So badass!
Just out of curiosity. Have you ever thought of wrapping the front of the car with PPF? That would help with the rock chips
Yeah, was going to try before Rockingham but just ran out of time.
Definitely enjoying your channel! Keep it up!
Thanks!
Is there a speed limit?
They let us run at 80%.

Great video Scott. You're living the dream Brother. Let us know what was going on with the car. Decals look great on the car. Great job on them.
Awesome video! Looking for one myself! Hope to get involved with this awesome community.
Great video, love the history and the cars. Hopefully just a bad plug... Can't wait to see you doing stuff with you other cars as well.
