  • Hi guys, Today we are gonna go through another simple yet very beneficial drill you can do at home/range to improve your mobility. But first - credit where credit due - I got this drill from Daniel of @movementtactical3, he is a likeminded person who also put a lot of focus into the background of human performance and its relevancy towards skill techniques and tactics.
    All you need is a bit of space, a target or something to fix your gaze at to your 12’. For handguns use targets that are fairly close. For rifles, if possible, targets that are little far or simply little targets. You will also need 5 cones / marked positions that are within one step distance. The rest is explained in the video in great detail. Do not over do this drill, its merely preparing you biomechanically, but not contextually.
    Once in the center and between the cones, decide deliberately or use a friend to call out which direction to ‘’attack’’. Begin slowly and detect your deficiencies in how you move, step and how the weapon presentation is integrated. Ideally,your objective eventually over time is a movement that is explosive but fairly stable.. Also, This drill is easy to modify and can be used for shooting purposes as well.
    I hope it helps you guys, especially those who do not have sufficient training space. Let us know if you want more content like this.

    Really great content! You're the first one I've seen to give out such educational and solid content for free. Your ITCQB concept is really working in nearly every FoF scenario I set up for my guys. Hoping to come to your CQS 2030!

      @@ProjectGecko your always welcome..i really admire your work. As of now I am 16 years old so I don't know much about combat...but I am getting to know more of it by watching your videos...maybe one day when I join the swat..i will definitely use these tactics from your videos and I will even teach my fellow team mates.

    This is pretty sweet, as a martial artist the same bodymechanics aply moving with a weapon of whatever.
    When Eli wants to accelerate from a spot he utilizes the acceleration step/switch step which is used by muay thai fighters when doing a kick from the front leg or with a double kick to get more power. Also used by grapplers to accelerate hard to dive deep on a doubble leg.
    Love your information, very good stuff.

    Soo interesting video Eli. As I said in UF PRO chanel I will try to go to Scheessel once I travel to Hamburg to visit my german family, but with this pandemic and the quarentine stablished between EU countries I don't know when I will travel from Spain to Deutschland. I got your email and phone number.💪🏻

    Why not bring both feet off the x in the first drill? Are you simulating you are behind cover and trying to gain the power and speed to pop out and take the shot? Would you not want to bring both feet out and get a good base if your moving off the x?

    I'd really love to see a video where you discuss your gunbelt setup and your plate carrier layout

      Good question. Gunbelt and maybe all equipment he use. It could be focused to SF and patrol police.

    What boots you wear?

    • @karlgreenkgv
      @karlgreenkgv 4 года назад

      I'm not sure but I think he uses Salomon X Ultra. I had the same but I only can use black boots in spanish Civil Guard, even in the UEI (like GSG9) they can't use boots in other color. It is curious because our uniforms are always green or black.
      At work I use HAIX Black Eagle Athletic.
