After watching the film "a-ha the movie" by Thomas Robsahm, it is easier to understand how difficult it has been for the members of a-ha that they are not able to cooperate as well as they would like. In a longer, Norwegian podcast, Robsahm puts it all into a greater perspective. All members of a-ha are strong personalities with very strong opinions individually. It is easy for us ordinary, mortals to say "can they not just give and take?" What we then forget is that if they had not been so stubborn, they would never have been able to break through and create this adventure (or their "child", as Robsahm calls it) that we know as A-ha. Then we would not have all this wonderful music that they have created together. It was very nice to see this video with Morten, and not least your reaction to it. Morten seems to be doing very well without the others, and I am glad both him and the other two, separately, can have these moments/periodes. At the same time, I am very happy that they still, despite their collaboration problems, come together on a regular basis to give us more of the real magic, the one that arises when these three fantastic artists give new life to the "child" they have created together - a-ha and the music.
Thanks for reacting to this song. One of my favourites. I think the footage is from his solo tour in 2014. I remember being upset I was unable to get to see him. He was also doing a meet / signing autographs event, so I was doubly upset!!
