Woodturning - Pine Cones to Night lamp
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 9 мар 2024
- In this week woodturning video, I crafted a remarkable night lamp by woodturning, using deep pour epoxy resin and purple mica powder for an exceptional touch. I meticulously shaped it on my woodturning lathe and sanded it to a high grit. To enhance the colors, I applied multiple layers of gloss lacquer. Finally, I installed an LED strip light inside the lamp.

Beautiful lamp. The pinecones look like fossils.
От Ваших видео у меня огромное эстетическое наслаждение...Ваши творческие фантазии и вдохновения даруют только позитивные мысли 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I'm starting to sound like a stuck record now, but absolutely stunning work, David. I love that colour, and the pinecones always have such a beautiful effect - they remind me of peacock feathers here. Love it!
What a beautiful night light
Gorgeous lamp - the effect is primeval/Alien - perfection 👽🦖
Gorgeous, David!! Purple is my favorite color and this one (every single thing you make) turned out beautiful too! One day I need to buy one of your pieces. You are fabulous!!!!
Looks beautiful 🤩
Very nicely done. Incredibly beautiful! 😊
Very satisfying to watch, let alone make.
Thank you 🙂
❤ WOW, this night lamp is stunningly beautiful, and the pine cones look like little sea creatures. Nature has some interesting ways.
You are an amazingly talented man.
That is so impressive. It's awesome work
Stunning. Enough said 🌞
Looks great it's amazing what you can do with the rite tools and a workshop..👍
Thank you 🙂
sooooo cool.
I would like to see one with a turkey christmas dinner 😂 or more realistically, sims PC CD Rom packs
Amazing what you can do with Pine Cones.
Beautiful night lamp. Thankyou for sharing. 👏😊🇦🇺

Truly wish you lived in the states, I'd be buying and ordering from you all the time.

Beautiful!!!❤😎👍👍👍
Very pretty lamp. The purple is great.
Thank you so much 😀
Very pretty! Love the purple :)))
Beautiful David.
When you made the other pinecone piece (around Christmas maybe??), I didn’t think I’d like it when you first started working on it - but I fell in love with the finished piece. I knew at the start I’d like this one, but the wow factor is so much better with this one! 😊 Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Класс 👍🤝
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤❤
David's Woodtutning , It's beautiful; but what are you going to do when the lights burn out. The fact that you have it all glued together would make it very tricky to replace. 🤔🤔🤔
😎Nice job if I could make one improvement I would say you should have me the LED serviceable
Should last long time
👍👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
man that thing is fucking bad ass!!!
Thank you so much 😀
Brilliant work David. Did you have to stabilize the pinecones or just dry them in a toaster oven? Thanks again for your inspiration.
Thank you so much 😀 Just dry them in the over but don’t stabilise them
Oh wow, gorgeous work! 🤩 makes me think of fossiles' skeletons caught in amethyst, something of the kind. Sorry if the comparison seems silly.
🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍💪💪💪🍺🍺
Why does everybody use those little cords like on our phones? I don't understand the purpose, can't anybody use the old fashioned lamp cords anymore? It looks awesome none the less
What are the ingredients ?
Please !
How do I replace the LEDs?
Hopefully never needed 😅
Aww that's sad hope u can make v2 with a removable bottom part where u can put in a E27 inside that u can dimm down.
