    Yes I have saved my moulds by freezing them. Like you, I went and got a really messy uncured one out of the trash and saved the mould.

    You have saved my life! I had 4 cups of resin in a 4 cup measuring cup! Too much product but i was having some yellowing so i thought i would try a large sphere but i over filled the sphere not leaving enough room to expand. Ended up with a ruined sphere mold and “the BLOB”. I had made some beautiful flower coasters and bottle openers: Two days later, still a sticky mess! Cant wait to get these disasters into the freezer! Thank you so much! Waste of dried flowers but will save my molds. Where do you get your molds?

    Thank u for posting this! I had a whole batch of 1:2 ratio mix that didn't cure & in several different brand new moulds. I've been just letting it sit for weeks, not quite sure what I was gonna do w it & sick of having it just sit in limbo, I decided to look for help. Just popped mine in freezer... Hopefully this works for me too!!!🤞

      Hi Pam yes it was such a relief. Yes what at that time I didn't noticed was hardner also I was actually doing an experiment on mixing different company resins that were actually left overs .So it failed I think.

      @@the.resintist Hi Mark I know these dyes very well this happened for few reasons 1 my resin was around 4 years old .

      @@teaandart Ooooo, I understand now. Please remind me, what’s the best way to preserve silicon molds. I was wincing seeing your expensive mold, then saw the resin squish…. Accidents are expensive, yet learning about them is helpful.

    I think it's important, to show, that we are making mistakes, too! And than show, if it can be fixed... ☺️

      @@teaandart thanks for responding,I tried to make rehal( Quaran holder , book holder) I mix 1:1 ratio more then 3 minutes and pour on mold but it’s been 20 days , it didn’t cure. Where was my mistake and which epoxy resin should I buy from Amazon? I live in USA n buy everything from Amazon. Please please please help , and how should I remove that epoxy from my mold ? Freeze it ?

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  Год назад

      @alishanoor9468 Yes, you need to first pack it really well with plastic wrap. Before putting in a freezer, it will do the job.
      As for epoxy, you are in USA there are so many options few resins I have shared ,let's resin is good, and then I recommend craft resin ,teexpert these all are good resins.
      This sounds like a mixing issue or ratio was not right .Which resin were you using if you don't mind telling me ☺️.
      Please note that when you're mixing resin, make sure it's mixed properly. Sometimes, it takes 5-6 minutes to mix .When you're mixing slowly, observe the resin. There should be no foggy lines it should be clear . Scrap the sides of the cups when mixing. Sadly, if it is that much time, resin will not cure now .
