Just seen a 24 plated one in dark blue in Honiton devon and think this could be one of the last I love this car mine is a 22 plate and boy does it shift. I'm 67 and told I'm to old to own one!!!!rock n roll hyundai i20n
Glad to see you're not afraid of revving the engine, most reviewers test the 0-100k using second and third gears but this car can rev high enough to get a very good figure in second gear. Very detailed review of this car thanks very much.
Cheers! We're here to test these cars, so we need to test them appropriately. Performance cars like this absolutely get the shakedown to see just how good they are.
Thank you for watching! Make sure to find some progressive twisty sections of road to really feel that limited-slip diff work. Other than that, it'd make for an ideal second car.
I was looking for a second, smaller car too. I've test driven it...and ordered it. I didn't thought I would. But the car was even better than expected :D
What a fantastic run through of this car, I love your enthusiasm for it and all the information was brilliant!!! I feel so happy I'm getting one😁 thanks so much and the length of it was superb because it gave me a really huge amount of info, which is why I watch these videos 😍😍😍
You bet! Sadly, we have to wait for a special set of tyres to arrive before we can book both the manual and DCT in. Keep an eye out here and our Instagram for when we get those to review.
Great review. Too bad there is a 60 kph speed limit on Mt Panorama. Driving a i20N there at that speed must be excruciating! Just ordered mine yesterday. Now for the month wait....
I think the suspension does not change depending on the driving mode ... am I right? and is it comfortable enough to go around the city, do the shopping, take the children to school...?
The launch control in this car just burns rubber and makes awesome noise. It’s really more of a cool gimmick. If you want to achieve the 0-100km mark in 6.5 seconds, you gotta launch it the old school way with a little revs built up. The launch control struggles to put power down its more for show
That would make more sense. FWD manual's aren't the easiest to launch. Looks like a trip to the drag strip might be in order to do a launch control/no launch control comparison.
Good review, personally I think from 2012 onwards Hyundai really upped their game with the i20 range, we love Hyundai over here in Ireland, this new version that you are reviewing is an absolutely beautiful car! ☘️🎭✌🏻peace✌🏻🎭☘️
Fantastic review and really loving the hatch one interesting observation i searched the i20n on carsales in Australia and used they were asking 45k and upwards with 39k drive away still used being the lowest. It's even higher than what hyundai Australia new prices are is there a logical explanation as these 2022 models
Ordered one with Performance Blue with black roof, without even test drive it. Look forward to pick it up in a month. Any track recommendation around Sydney NSW for me to play with this car ? First car in Australia so not really sure about these things.
@@Smokeyr67 Thanks for the info mate. It's 2 and half hour driving from my place so might pay a visit over there. My dealer just called me today said I can pick up the car next week, so very much looking forward to it.
@@杨雪炜 Can I ask how long your wait time has been? I'm buying one, haven't put down a deposit yet, waiting for the Dealer to find out how long I'll have to wait.
I've been daily driving an Abarth 500 (far more uncomfortable) with little issues. The i20N could easily be daily driven, as long as you're okay driving manual in traffic.
Sounds like it has the known issue of the dreaded exhaust rattle, easily fixed with an upgraded spring. Still annoying on a brand new car. Nether-less such an excellent drivers car for the money.
Its sad to see that the vehicle has negative camber on the front wheels....driving on roads eats your inner rubber away for no reason due to poor camber on road driving conditions. I have a Ford Focus RS and every 8 to 12 months i need to replace a new set of tyres because of camber wear on the tyres....0 camber should be on the vehicle as standard and if want to do a track day it should come as standard fitment as a adjustable from the factory so you don't waste unnecessary tyre wear.

Going for a test drive with my partner this weekend. Can’t wait, exactly what we are looking for as our second car. Thanks for your detailed review!

Great review! Having mine delivered before October, can't wait.
Cheers! Super exciting. Enjoy!
Fantastic review Cameron 🥰
Great review....still waiting for delivery of mine, this car will revive my classic mini and Swift Gti days... That white looks awesome as well 👌
Thanks for watching! It'll live up to the hype for sure. The white really did stand out!
What is the wait time if you don’t mind me asking?

Thanks an awesome review and spot on.
I have a 2023 N and it’s just as your review 👍
Cheers and thank you! Love these N cars!
Good job ,only some small problems in the video with the sound level I would say.
Appreciate the feedback. Taking that on board for the next review :).
Yes. And it's possibly a little long. I skipped through to your summary section.
great review brah.

Are you guys getting your hands on the i30 Sedan N?

I baught it cant wait till it is deliverd 👌
Enjoy! It's a killer choice.
Great review
Thank you!
With the GR Corolla coming out to US, I wish Hyundai would release this to us as well.
It'd be the spiritual successor to the Fiesta ST you don't get :(
They got the Elantra N coming out.
Great review. Too bad there is a 60 kph speed limit on Mt Panorama. Driving a i20N there at that speed must be excruciating! Just ordered mine yesterday. Now for the month wait....
Thanks for watching! I know right! Good thing there are some great driving roads just outside of the track.
I ordered mine a feb 19th (over 8 weeks ago) and was told about 4-6 months. Dealer told you too?
@@nlikos180 He told me 6 months, which makes it mid October. I think he might be over promising....
Did you only drive the Fiesta ST in a Macca's car park ?
Just asking. I've driven both too.
Uhhh no. Had plenty of seat time, the i20N just does the hot hatch thing a little better.
I think the suspension does not change depending on the driving mode ... am I right?
and is it comfortable enough to go around the city, do the shopping, take the children to school...?
Suspension isn't adjustable. It's absolutely comfortable for day to day driving. Just make sure you slow down for big potholes, speedbumps and ramps.
@@ProductReviewCars good to know
how is the suspension compared to a seat leon fr in normal mode? harder ?
Wait, Bathurst is a public road??
Absolutely! Worth the trip.
@@ProductReviewCars unfortunately I don't live in Australia but I always worried that if I ever got there I wouldn't be able to drive the track
Bathurst always allow to public road but cannot go fast on anywhere only 60km/h zone. Cops still there on anytime.

But can’t you adjust the Launch Control revs in this car? I’m sure you can raise or lower to the desired amount via the infotainment screen N set up.
@@Buck3366 Definitely can. Need to find a good bit of road to test the optimal revs for launch.

True, but lower centre of gravity is always better
Could you daily drive the Hyundai I20n have heard some say it's a bit firm for the terrible roads we have in Oz.

I never see these with a sunroof, the i20n should have a panoramic sunroof, plus your hear the exhaust more too
The took out the heated seats for the Australian market damn it....
That's a bummer :(
Shame for all that money they didn’t say put nice red or blue seatbelts as an example like clip RS or some other prestige brands 😊
Damn u guys in Australia are getting a bargain at that price , here in Ireland I paid well over double that for my i20N
Yaris GR : that’s cute 🤣
Yaris is the best car in the class, but it is also twice the price.
That's until the GR Corolla steps in the ring...keen to do a comparison between the two soon.
@@ProductReviewCars I would argue that the Corolla is a class above same class as golf and i30.
Sounds like it has the known issue of the dreaded exhaust rattle, easily fixed with an upgraded spring. Still annoying on a brand new car. Nether-less such an excellent drivers car for the money.
Yeah was a little concerning! Other than that, sounded great once that valve was open.

hyundai should ban you for this reveiw.. 7.5 seconds 0-100 just because u are useless while the car does it in 6.3
