Man, the postmaster mini-quest is probably one of the most popular hidden things on this list but I hadn't done it until now. It's honestly one of the most fun things I've done in WoW in a while, even if it's short. Wish blizz would add tons of stuff like that! A cool experience like the questline you play as a NPC!
Should also be mentioned that if your toon is hostile to Steamweedle Cartel factions (cannot remember which one specifically) you will be unable to complete the parts where you are sent to Feralas.
According to blizzard there are things that have not been found that are quite old in the game. I don't want to put an incorrect number of years in case I am wrong. I also imagine the Troll intro quest totem was an oversight in development and not an intended feature (for it to be used in such dynamic ways.)

To answer your Dark Souls question, in the first game Solaire was an NPC that fans got attached to because he was one of the first nice people you run into and offers to help players by being a summon. His also the first character to do the whole "Praise the Sun" thing and was so liked he was referenced in the other two games as well. He also comments that the player likes talking to him in Anor Londo which for a while had people wondering if he was hitting on them. You can also save him in DS1 by doing a very specific thing and bring him into the final boss.

The precious bloodthorn loop an easy to get ring that lets you stealth while in combat very useful in pvp and pve if u want to skip mobs or reset a fight in pvp.
Just to let anyone who might be new and are looking at maybe getting that first toy on the list, the Doomsayers Robes (or any who might have returned to play as an Evoker) be warned that for some reason, unlike most other transformation toys like the Dark Rangers Cowl and Blood Elf toys, the robes will not be displayed on your Evoker even in their disguise form. Odd, I know, but its one of those things where Blizzard just likely overlooked it and never really got enough traction to fix. Just wanted to leave a comment as I went for it after seeing this list and got lucky with it dropping, and saw that it does not work on my Evoker. Other than that, fun list as always. Katy is definitely one of those quests you should go for just due to the convenience factor she provides, and the fact that in raids/dungeons others can use her ability while she's out next to you, so always a nice thing to have out, even if no one needs her at that moment.
I would include the squire, from the argent crusade event in Northrend. The tokens needed to buy him can be farmed in about a week to ten days, at around around, 10 maybe more, a day, which takes about 5 minutes- if you have the tabard to hearth there. If not, old Dalaran is about 2 minutes away, just fly NW. You can also buy a pet from your factions races, (maybe a bop mount as well I can’t remember, as I haven’t been there for ages, having quit soon after Shadowlands. If I remember the mounts are a mechano strider, a tiger, a horse and a ram. Regardless, the squire can be summoned every few hours and stays up for 5 mins, he offers the use of a post box, access to your bank, a vendor offering repair and general items. He can also follow you around on his small horse with your guild standard on it. Can be summoned anywhere, in instanced content, for example if your bags are full, repair if there are no mammoths around, or you can’t use an anvil. He’s more of a companion, although being in your pet journal. He can’t pet battle. Would advise picking one up, I’ve used him loads of times- crafting something needed mid raid, emptying bags-selling/vendoring and repair.

I came here to look at hidden WoW crap and I ended up crying about some gnome’s dead daughter fml I remember in bfa in the raid in Nazjatar where queen azshara is the last boss, there are a few times you can target her and do /spit or /slap, basically anything disrespectful to her and she will 1 shot you when you’re not in combat. It might work while in combat too lol, but nobody in our raid wanted to die during a boss fight on purpose to check. I remember the first night we found out basically everyone ended up trying it and assuming that there would be at least 1 person who could Rez still alive but the only 2 that didn’t try it couldn’t rez and weren’t eng’s.
I got the ”Blood Knight Tabard” for paladins only on my orc warrior lol. Back in 2011 the tabard vendor sold it to every class for a brief moment before it was hotfixed. Kind of a rare item i guess.
I don't know if this is still in the game and if so, if it is classified as Spirit Beast. However, I do remember, that back in WotLK, there was a little statuette of a cat in some naga-infestet ruins north of Auberdine. You could click that to spawn a spectral Cat and then tame it as a hunter. Sadly I don't remember the name of it. Also I haven't been there in years, to check it out. Anyone know anything about that? Jack's Diary drops from felbound manastalkers in blood furnace summonable mob from the summoners there. the diary lets you use it as en epic reagant with an infinite use for crafting.
HELL YES, MOTIVATION TO LOG ON THE GAME YAYAYAYAYAY

Too bad we can’t get Dartols rod of transformation anymore. Only 3 of 12 toons have it. :(
I came here to look at hidden WoW crap and I ended up crying about some gnome’s dead daughter fml
I remember in bfa in the raid in Nazjatar where queen azshara is the last boss, there are a few times you can target her and do /spit or /slap, basically anything disrespectful to her and she will 1 shot you when you’re not in combat.
Is it still there? Can you still tame it? And is it classified as Spirit Beast?
