Thank you so much. I’m in so much pain and tears after being laid off, and i can’t stop crying since yesterday. Your heart and honesty on the things you share here, is so precious. Bless you❤
Hang in there. It's really awful what you are going through right now, so give yourself the time to grieve and recover. Then remember that this too shall pass.
I really resonated with your points on practicing gratitude and having a life outside of work. And I'm really feeling your vibe in this vlog too - more confident and passionate than ever. Keep up your great work and continue inspiring others Shao! 😊
Thank you for your advice on focusing on the positive with a different perspective - that you have feel grateful what you had a high pay, bec people with lower pay get laid off too , you had the chance to earn that pay; and that the layoff forces you to take a break when you otherwise would have been held ransom by the golden handcuffs.
Thank you again for your support and encouragement! Yes indeed I didn't realize I was having golden handcuffs until this finally happened. So it's really both a blessing and a lesson for me.
Hang in there! It is indeed a really tough job market out there right now. I wish you only the best and that you find what you are looking for soonest!
@@9to5MillionaireMindset thanks just more a career advice. I have job now for about a year now but I’m not happy, it’s isolating. And i still have regrets leaving my old job although for a valid reason bad boss and politics at work, pay was good. Then went in to depression and anxiety disorder on and off for the last year. Told that i am pychosocial by therapist… I’m rambling… need some encouragement, i don’t know what is happening to me..
You're lucky to have earned so much money in only 8 years. You have hight skills in the most bankable industry. Imagine, 3 kids, as a normal worker and a single Family home Loan to pay in the countryside.
Great question and a very valid and real concern. I actually was fortunate enough to start saving and investing early on, so now I consider myself financially free. Do check out the first video in my channel called "I got laid off by Google and Now I'm Financially Free" if you are interested to find out more. Thanks for watching too!
Thank you for the reminder that layoffs are indeed just part of today's career, and knowing how to navigate and recover from one is a key career skill. But it's hard to not take it personally (even though that's the right approach) as it's still a livelihood or a sense of identity for many.
Indeed it was, and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to grow my earnings to that level. But earlier when I was younger, I actually also struggled to put 1/2 or even 1/10, because I had learnt the hard way that it's even easier to spend our money on shiny fancy things really fast.
Oh but I really am right now! It was really tough in the beginning, but after being grateful and seeing how everything happens for a reason, I am indeed happier now. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey thanks for watching! I actually meant that I was living paycheck to paycheck when I was younger. And I am really grateful that I no longer have to live like that. Thanks for commenting!

In this era, we should view layoffs as part of the employment process. Don’t take it personal because it’s childish and petty.

Drugs, man! Drugs are what do it for me!

Easy to put 1/2 earnings away into investments from each paycheck when you make $250k salary.
