I flew with my family (wife and 2 kids) in the opposite direction- from GRU to JFK on LATAM and what I believe was a newer configuration, and was pleasantly surprised by the regular economy seats. We were as comfortable as you could get in an economy seat.
Hello, unfortunately you had to fly on LATAM aircraft with the old seating configuration. You should try the new one to see the difference, personally they are much better and the IFE is new technology.

That’s great! LATAM recently revealed a new design for their business class seats. Maybe I can check out that product when it’s available.
You should also review the AA 777 on this same route!
Maybe after the channel gets some momentum. I’d like to try out AA premium economy.

When I was on the flight, the IFE did not have Bluetooth capabilities.

Is there a big difference between latam plus seats and economy seats?
While I can’t say from experience, I didn’t notice a massive benefit when walking past these seats.
