@@ouromov2895 tbh boss battles in XIV don't feel that epic due to the MMO battle system's nature so it won't fit Nishiki's music. If he composes for the next mainline FF tho 👀

@@keiro.l816that's because Square Enix new policies will strike any soundtrack that has no gameplay at all. You can look at FFXIV OST, they've been there for AGES because that's how they're supposed to be uploaded. It would probably be a good thing for you to know.
My headcanon for this one is this battle music isnt Elrica's theme. It's Alaune's. The vocals is her talking to Elrica, trying to break her away from the brainwashing.

Pretty sure it’s Kokudo Kaon (Kaon is first name) If I remember correctly, she was first casted to work on Song of Hope and Nishiki liked her singing so wrote more songs with her in them (information comes from a livestream he did but my memory is a bit hazy)

Because they’re part of the mobile game’s updates and weren’t included on the original OST release. This was ripped from the game files somehow
