- If my heart rate increases past 85 bpm, I explode. I have to beat the first boss of Terraria, but my viewers can attempt to stop me by sending in videos to get my heart rate up -- and get me to combust!

didn't really need it. Terraria gets your heart rate up on its own, especially in expert and master mode.
All we had to do was the Radiance theme from Hollow Knight or deepnest but I digress.

@@pkmntrainermark8881Same. Gloom hands stopped being scary once I started bombarding them with bomb arrows from a lynel bow. Guardians could always tear chunks out of my health if I mistimed the parries.

@@50Steaks68 this got me curious, so i had to look it up:
according to the American heart association, resting heart rate should be between 60 - 100bpm.
the German organization "herzstiftung" on the other hand claims the average adult heart rate to be between 60 - 80bpm.
Harvard health makes note that 60 - 100 is a healthy range, but also states that 55 - 80 would be ideal.
So 90 isnt quite in need of medical attention, but a decent sign your body could use some more regular cardio exercise.

You know you've done a good job at making a scary enemy when the first few notes of its theme are enough to induce fear and panic into whoever hears it.
The funny part is it's not even the guardians themselves that are scary, they're literally chumps, but the way they move combined with the 'confidence' they approach the savior of hyrule while that theme plays...

A hilarious challenge. I had to check my own heartrate a few times. The door knocks in particular got me every time, like wtf... that's just evil.
Just, being alone and completely immersed in something, not expecting any company, then hearing that very clear *knock-knock-knock*.
Fortunately my PC is far enough away from the door that I don't hear knocking. Now, if chat sent doorbell noises, that might have got me.

Between this and Alpharad's recent modded Among Us video, an idea came to mind. What if there was an Among Us mod that made characters flash like a police siren when the players' heart rate went above a certain threshold? This would make seeing someone keep their cool as an imposter harder but also more interesting. As a way to even it out a bit more, there could also be an ability for the imposter to make jump-scares happen to other players from anywhere on the map (the further away they are the longer the cooldown), so that other people could be more likely to flash too. There could also be an ability to make anyone in a radius around the imposter see a jump-scare that imposters might be able to use to help them get away with kills
When I saw the Terraria trees in the background of the thumbnail I got excited, because Terraria is my new most favorite game. Thank you for making this video!

Quick wierd thing, years ago when I was playing terraria with a friend, the eye of Cathulu just spawned at night and I stayed inside my house until it was over. It was the eye and another wierd eye without a pupil at the same time
My heart rate increases when my favorite NPC, the Nurse, moves in.
When he said “go to your happy place” it reminded me of school. I had a sub and he told everyone to calm down and think of your happy place and for some reason I thought of me falling out of a plane with no parachute.
