@@FLPatrick1095 A couple of weeks after making this video I acutally went that route! I added a 15T pinion and punch setting is set to 9. It's an animal now and flips easily!
I tried 500k and still wasn’t enough so I put 1 million and it got better. Still might go up tho. I like that 50/50 power so it will wheelie on demand.
I feel like the punch settings on both my 6s and 8s make the biggest difference when it comes to wheelies. I changed my 8s to a 20mil center and 27 pinion and it wheelies great. It’s pretty crazy to watch that big rc popping wheelies. My 6 didn’t need anything to wheelie but the punch definitely makes it a lot more easier and fun…
Move the battery cable holder to the other side of the strap, so that it holds down the side that goes to the ESC, it will stop unplugging. Its unplugging because you are synching down the battery side
Nice! That seems to be the common oil weight. I was thinking maybe going 300k at most. I also went up to a 15T pinion gear and she backflips way easier now!
Hey guys was wanting a all round diff oil setup for more speed bashing and for it not to wheelie as much during quarter to half throttle mainly to use asphalt and grass really any suggestions please? I want it to be fast and agile on grass as well as nimble not really jumping it
Not sure what in mine I just purchased off FB marketplace used and it's doing backflips on launch on 4s and 6s will just keep doing backflips over an over till it lands on its back was cool at first but it's kinda annoying now so I'm going to change the diff fluid tomorrow and reset the esc
i just wanna know how hard is it suppose to be to do a backflip on 4s. i bought my kraton last weekend and i didnt have the money to spend on a 6s so i bought a 4s. seems like its almost impossible to do a backflip. i have tried a sag settings with the shocks (height of the spring collar) and it always has a tendency to nose dive off jumps and i fee like when im trying to do a backflip im fighting that. the only time i can get it to do a backflip is if the take off is vertical, strait up and down. punch setting turned up to 9 and 1 million cst in the center diff
So a lot may have to do on how you hit the ramp and it’s angle. You can correct most of the problem by changing the diff fluid and gearing. On my Typhon 3s I went up from a 15T to an 18T and it backflips easily on stock tires now.
Eric B,how are you? Love your videos my friend. Quick question for you ????? You seem to be extremely knowledgeable in RC cars. Changing the punch from the factory settings, essential to its highest output. Is it possible to damage the car in anyway? Gears, driveshaft, motor, etc? I’m just curious because I want to turn mine up all the way up to 5 on my Typhon 6S. But I’ve heard from several people you can cause significant damage to the vehicle. So, I’m just curious on your thoughts, because essentially, you are turning the power output to its highest. Anyways, love your videos Andre from Boston, Massachusetts.
Hey what’s up! Sorry I’m late to responding to this. On the 3s model you will not damage anything running the highest setting on 3s. As for the 6s you may have some issues as 6s is a lot of get up and go. With that said you’d think if it can run 6s it would be able to handle the power output. I have not had any experience with the 6s Typhon, but I assume it’s no different from my Kraton 6S. Only issue I had was the center diff blowing out and the main gear. Once I changed those it was good to go.

Can anyone recommend ways to keep the front down? Have throttle punch at 6 and can lower it but also using 15 tooth pinion. Would heavier fluid in front diff help? Thanks
Hallo gyis I have the arrma kraton 6s v3 and am between of two choise the first it is the 300.000 back 300.000 Center 50.000 infront and the second choise it is the 200.000 back 500.000 Center and 200.000 front!!! Whicn of those option you suggest it is the best and more safety for the differential? Or there is it any other option more safety? Thanks
It’s really going to depend on your driving style. Whether you want to do backflips or keep it from doing wheelies. I’ve heard of a lot of people doing 300k in the center diff. It’s been a while since I’ve driven the Kraton but I think I have 30k up front, 100k center and 20k in the rear.

Change the punch settings on the esc its set at 3/9. 14/15T pinion gear as well.
500k center too

Nice video Eric! Kraton's fly soooooo nice!!
Thank you! Yes she does indeed!
Run the connectors for from esc to battery connectors through the center diff tower
Ahh never thought about that! Thanks!
I love how Kraton s fly. I love mine> I run 20k rear/200 center/ 80 front. Awesome air control. it whips around. I run 3.8 backflip tires, love em
Nice! What pinion are you running with the backflip tires?

save your money and buy what you actually want? rather than being unpatient and having what u didnt want in the first place👊

Awesome video if I may ask where could I pick up that chassis skin
Thanks! You can get them from Arma Skinz online. Just Google search it and it will pop up. They ship from the UK. Ships pretty quick.

Actually heavier diff fluid in the center will make it wheelie more from what I understand. I wonder if heavy in the rear would do the trick? 🤔
@@itsmeericbrc4453 i wouldve thought in the front would weigh it down and keep it stable!?!
@@lexusant64 Adding more weight to the front keeps the front from ballooning so much.
Try it on 4s for a while. Also ,if your transmitter will allow, set the power to come in slowly at first.

Place you battery wires under your battery straps and they will never unplug again. That’s how I run mine and they never come apart. 😎🤙🏼
