Very beautiful and skilled dancer! Wonderful that students learning ballet have her as proper representation, I wish her the best.

Seeing Ballet originated in Italy and spread to France, isn't an African performing ballet an example of cultural appropriation at it's most extreme..🤔

No. That’s not at all what cultural appropriation is. Go do some research.

PS she’s not African. She’s an American, of African descent.

U know, why isn’t the Russian ballet cultural appropriation? After all, it originated in Italy and France! U know, sushi originated in Japan, and it is a worldwide thing. It isn’t cultural appropriation

The lithium ion battery in the phone you used to type this bullsh*t came from the earth in Africa. Don't use cell phones. Cell phones are cultural appropriation. 😵‍💫🥴

It's great but if you talk constantly about the color it divides people.

I would argue that avoiding conversations regarding color and discrimination develops unconscious racial bias. An example of this is shown in the very video where Johnathon Stafford states that hearing Aesha Ash's "painful experiences, helped them face hard truths". The first step to solving a problem is recognizing there is one.

Ignoring systemic racism - or any serious problem - doesn’t magically make it not exist. Gee, maybe if we ignore cancer, that’ll go away too. Hear how dumb and ignorant that sounds?

Acknowledging differences isn’t the same as dividing

@@calisongbird What I meant was that you have to find a balance. Jesus dude there are not much black people compared to white. If it's the first time a black person does something does it automatically means it's racism? MAYBE the white population is VERY HUGE..
