Vancouver is probably the most beautiful City in Canada, according to some Country mates that leave there, plus, I follow a Canadian trucker on RUclips, called Trucker Josh, he leaves in Steinbach Winnipeg, his an owner operator and travels the all of Canada and the US, he always says that Vancouver is the most beautiful of the Canadian Cities. And Kev, stop being a baby, I love heights, swinging or not, bridges or walkways is my destress to the rat run, you've been to Madeira were I come from, you've seen how high the mountains are and the sea cliffs, nothing to worry about.
Love watching the two of you travel around! I'm from Canada (near Toronto) and have been to Vancouver numerous times but your take and enjoyment of poutine and Tim's was the BEST! Keep up the great content!
We went to capailino exactly a year ago today a lovely place to visit. As we were in vancouver for 4 days we had a travel pass and got a boat across the water then a local bus. Stanley Park is massive and you certainly get your steps up. It is a shame you didn't have more time in vancouver to go up to Grouse Mountain. Like you we did go to Tim Hortons, more then once. We collect Starbucks mugs the only places we couldn't get one was Jersey in the Channel Islands and Perth Australia, where they promote local coffee shops rather then chains. Did you watch Race Across the World, that showed the beauty of Canada and its beautiful people
Hi yes we would of loved longer in Vancouver so will definitely be back one day. Loved that you also collect the mugs 😁 and no we didn't watch that show sounds good though will have to see if we can still get it 🤔
OMG! I can’t believe how much they developed the area around the bridge. Your outstanding video brought back great memories. I used to live in Vancouver’s southern Suburb of Seattle😊. On the way to the bridge there used to be a wonderful restaurant that was also used for events. It was called “The Canyon Gardens”. We’d dine there three times a year. The Sunday buffet was to die for.
Great video about Vancouver! I'm headed to Vancouver for a couple of weeks in September to visit my daughter who now lives and works there. Can't wait to be there. My daughter likes to watch the seaplanes at Canada Place. They fly to Victoria (and other places) on Vancouver island but the flight prices are OMG expensive - like £600 return for a 50 minute flight but what an experience to have if you can afford it! We visited Calgary, Banff National Park and Canmore back in March and it was amazing. There's nothing like walking out on frozen Lake Minnewanka and Lake Louise and taking in the awesome mountains and forests. We saw bear tracks too in the snow higher up in the mountains near Banff. ! If you are The Last of Us fans, you'll want to go to Canmore and do the walk over the old Engine Bridge which Ellie and Joel walk over in one of the episodes. Canada is awesome. We fell in love with it immediately. The Rockies are like Switzerland on steroids. You should definitely return to see more of it.Your channel is great - recent subscriber here!
This made me miss Canada so much. You read the sign about Salmon at Capilano, there's a salmon hatchery just down the road from the bridge which is amazing!
Ooo, you are really selling Canada to me...the Capilano Suspension bridge looks really good and altho cheesy chips in gravy doesn't sound all that appetising, I even want to try that 😂. Can't wait for the next video. Keep up the good work...
If you come to Canada, you have absolutely got to try poutine. It is original speciality and our French province of Quebec. There was nothing better than hot gravy pile on top of french fries and cheese curds. When you eat cheese curds and squish it between your teeth it makes funny squeaky noise. Doesn’t make a squeaky noise then they’re not real cheese curd. There are lots of variations on poutine you can have a smoke meat on it or even lobster. But I find the best poutine is the original with just fries delicious hot gravy, and cheese curds.
Loving the videos. We did the inside passage cruise a few years ago. We had 3 nights before the cruise so experienced more of Vancouver. The highlight of our cruise was the White Pass train ride this is a MUST do! From Skagway. If you ever return to Vancouver book a day tour to Vancouver Island with Buchard Gardens. If your ever in Canada again The Keg steakhouse, pricy but OMG! Looking forward to your cruise videos.
Thanks Mark and we would of loved to of stayed in Vancouver for longer . We didn't go to Skagway on our itinerary but we have seen the train and it looks amazing 😍 and haha we would love to try the steakhouse 😁
My son lives in Vancouver and when I visited him a few years ago he tried to get his inheritance early by taking me to Capilana bridge and I also did the cliff edge walk, I'm an unfit nearly 70 year old!
Well done, Kev, for crossing the bridge. I so would not (Anna) we head to Canada in 8 weeks. Fly over, then hire an Rv so your vlog has made us a tad excited. Thanks for sharing ❤
Hi Anna and Steve, thanks for watching and wow, your plans are so amazing, we definitely want to see more of Canada. Bet you're counting down the days 😁
Enjoyed the tour of the area, Kev and Stacey. Loved the suspension bridge and seeing the totem poles and would see the show on what they represent. Enjoyed the scenic views and gorgeous river below. Your first whale and bear views on this trip too! Hope they get more real for you. Not a big fan of poutine, but never had any that looked this good. The extra things put in would make it better! We've been to Vancouver before and love it. Our daughter in law is from the Calgary, Banff area and we've all gone over to this area while we visited. Thanks for bringing us along with you!
Thanks Dave and Kathy, hope you're both ok. And glad you also loved Vancouver 😍 we would love to visit Calgary one day from the things we have seen of it wow 😁. And haha think poutine definitely tastes so much nicer than what it looks. Thanks for coming along as always 😍
Just found your channel and love this series. We are from NW England and going to Alaska with Princess in May 25. I hate heights so wont be going on the suspension bridge (my husband can watch the video to see what he has missed) but do want to go to Stanley Park. Going to work my way through this series then look at other videos. I like style - very informative and hilarious at times.
Hi there, what a great video I do. Enjoy your videos I think they’re great. Are you put them together? I do enjoy watching them. Give me inspiration what I’d like to do sometime in the future great work and I hope you all are well.
We cruised with Holland America on our inside passage. We were lucky enough to see Orcas and dolpins from the bridge bar. Captain usually lets you know. Also saw humpbacks on awhale tour and bears too.
Thats another place for my bucket list...would never had been on my radar without the vlog. I need to stop watching them...im going to end up bankrupt! Think id give that bridge a miss tho!
Love watching you two. We did Capilano 32 years ago, after going across it I couldn’t enjoy the scenery as couldn’t stop thinking about crossing the bridge on the way back!😱
You’ll see lots of Bald Eagles in Alaska, they are so very common to see. I hope you get to see an Orca, something I would love to see in their natural environment but haven’t been so lucky. I did get to see 2 Brown/Grizzly Bears when I was in Alaska though in Icy Strait Point 😊
Have the best cruise. Been on 13 now, but so want to do this 1. So loving this vlog so much ( love them all ) Thank you for taking us along again on your travels. Much love
Great vlog, really interesting & helpful. Would love to visit there. Well done Kev! I’m a little bit nervous of heights to say the least !! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
Hello you two.. So fun to watch this. Don't know if I could do that bridge 😮. Great to see the eagles, they are so beautiful. Also, very happy to see you eating. Lol. Never had Poutine. It looks really good. Stacey trying cheese and liking it 😋👍 bonus. Thank you for sharing this.
Imagine a couple of naive Welsh boys arriving in Vancouver in 1973 with a suitcase each , and living exactly .86of a mile from where you had those doughnuts! (me Dad was from Heywood!)
Thank you both for a very entertaining video. We have visited our friendly neighbors up north a few times, but never tried poutine. It will be on the menu next time!
Absolutely loved this guys, another great vlog. You two are just so lovely and funny. I couldn't of eaten the poutine though sorry. I know you are always fussy over your cheese Stacy so surprised you liked it lol
Sorry to sound nosey and please don't take offence,do either or both of you work ? I was wondering how you manage to get the A/L and how you can afford this travel 🤔 By the way,I'm from Wolverhampton but work daily in Stoke(Burslem,Tunstall,Golden hill,Biddulph) for the NHS. Really enjoy your videos and the Stokey accent. 👍👍
Hi and yes we both work full time but if we can in the near future we will either try youtube fulltime or quit and stay in our full time jobs as its getting very difficult to keep doing both. We dont mind either way as we still love to travel 😁
Used to be free. Now 60 dollars. Crazy. Parks should be free. Stop gouging tourists AND citizens. It's a Public park. The parks board needs to stop charging for parking and and visiting a Park.

Hahaha 🤣 and yes Vancouver really is a lovely place, definitely want to make it back there again at some point 😁
Fun fact, my father in law’s grandfather was from the family who donated the land that is now Stanley park to the city of Vancouver
What that is so cool, what a lovely part of the family history
Looks brilliant Vancouver, and stop winding us up with the mugs 😂😂we’ll get you back in a few weeks 😊😆😆
🤣
Thank you for visiting Canada glad you had fun. As a home sick Canadian living abroad thanks. Come back.
We loved Canada, definitely want to go back and explore more 😁

We love our poutine! So glad you love it too! 🇨🇦😀
I've always wanted to go to Canada it looks so lovely. Tip. Why not hire a bike the next time you visit a large park it would save a lot of steps.
Yeah would be nice to ride a bike round the park 👍

As I think I said, love Vancouver ! I did the bridge and park too. A few years ago and has changed a bit. No cliff walk if I recall ! Have fun !
OMG this is now on my bucket list, watching you guys is going to cost me about as much as kev’s phone bill 😂
Hahaha, it really was a great experience 😄

Thoroughly enjoyed this vlog. Just subscribed. Blessings from Antigua in the Caribbean ❤
That's really kind of you thanks so much 😁
That bridge looks CRAZY!!!😅
You are the best bloggers , & a lovely couple 😊

Haha sorry I 🤣 and Vancouver was lovely, wish we had longer there
You lucky people looks marvellous.
I would have had to have a change of boxers if I had to cross the bridge 😂
Hahaha 🤣🤣
I lived in Toronto for a year and never went to Tim Hortons nor had poutine. I guess I missed out.
For having just the 1 day in Vancouver, you picked very well. More time at fewer places was definitely the way to go. Plus, the weather was amazing.
Yes it was hard to narrow it down but we were pleased with the things we did 😀
What a day!!! Makes me very excited for ours next october 🎉
Love watching you two. We did Capilano 32 years ago, after going across it I couldn’t enjoy the scenery as couldn’t stop thinking about crossing the bridge on the way back!😱
Haha oh no and we didn' realise at the time that you had to walk back across it to come back. There is no other route lol 😆
Loving the vlog I know why I didn't go to capilano bridge now as I couldn't do that bridge. Keep up the great video's

Thanks so much and yes lol the poutine was really nice. The bridge definitely isn't for those afraid of heights 🤣
Great vlog. I couldn’t walk that bridge. X
Haha 😲 it was swinging!
Imagine a couple of naive Welsh boys arriving in Vancouver in 1973 with a suitcase each , and living exactly .86of a mile from where you had those doughnuts! (me Dad was from Heywood!)
I did the capalaino bridge last year and was so proud of myself 😂Good for you for making it across and back😀👏👏
Good for you for doing it 😁
Thank you both for a very entertaining video. We have visited our friendly neighbors up north a few times, but never tried poutine. It will be on the menu next time!

Thanks so much and haha loved the Poutine
Did you guys book it all independently? Or with an agent?
Hi we booked it all as a package. We will eventually do a video of how much everything costs and explain it all
I felt uneasy on the Brooklyn bridge 😅 not sure this is for me
Oh no you wouldn't like this then 😬
Sorry to sound nosey and please don't take offence,do either or both of you work ? I was wondering how you manage to get the A/L and how you can afford this travel 🤔 By the way,I'm from Wolverhampton but work daily in Stoke(Burslem,Tunstall,Golden hill,Biddulph) for the NHS.

@@OneCouplesAdventure Well good luck and keep up the good work. Just come back from a week on the Virtuosa(last Sat),not that impressed tbh. 👍👍👍
No way could I go on that suspension bridge yak
Tim’s really? You can definitely do better lol. We are boarding Celebrity Eclipse in Sept up to Alaska
Haha we had to try the typical tourist place for our first time 😁
Used to be free. Now 60 dollars. Crazy. Parks should be free. Stop gouging tourists AND citizens. It's a Public park. The parks board needs to stop charging for parking and and visiting a Park.
If this is your first time in Canada.....Vancouver is not Canada. The rest of us are alot nicer than Vancouver-ites.
We would like to experience more of Canada at some point
