At the beginning of the video we used a pry bar to collapse the brake pad pistons so that we could remove the brake caliper from the brake rotor. Once the brake caliper is off you can use a C clamp to collapse them even more if you have to. Hope this helps you out.
Thanks for the video, appreciate it. But wouldn't be easier if you just put the pads in at an angle, then pull up on them to get then situated in the slots? That's how I do it anyway, saves on the hammering.

How did you compress the piston ? Did you take cap off brake reservoir and compress it same as for front brakes ?

What year is this? I swore I saw a video where you had to remove some suspension parts.
You have to do that on My 2008 optima.Actually the whole process is different.Clips etc too
