Performance Marching Band - Grade 4
(This Is Berk)
From the popular animated film, John Powell's dynamic film score features soaring melodies and a distinctive Celtic flavor! This exciting opening production has plenty of drive, along with a brief calm section for variety.

Finally, a marching band version.
The thing we needed
Now this is good stuff right here. HTTYD is one of my favorite movies ever and its soundtrack was phenomenal.
I was at a leadership meeting today to plan out music for our next field shows. Once the conductor started the recording of this song, with the first 2 notes I was like “OMG ITS HTTYD!” And the 2 people next to me were like “Ive never seen it” and I’m like “YOU. UNCULTURED. SWINES!”
Bruh, all the triplets make my brain hurt >_
Imagine playing it on clarinet:0
I love this! We played the grade 2 concert band song last year, (I play the flute) and I loved it, but it was easy. I can play the grade 3 level, but I love that this one is grade 4 and a little more difficult. I love this (also, I'm in school right now during a power outage right now. 3rd year in a row this has happened 😂)
FLUTE BUDDIESSSSSS! :D
Trying out for drum major on this.
We get to play this. My face. Someone help.
I love this ❤️ We played it in our show 2!
0:50 Why does nobody ever trust the trombone section to do anything like ever?
Exactly
Like I played a different version of this in my band class and us trombones actually had parts and stuff. #trombones
We’re playing this in our marching band right now
Much like how the percussion is accented its to emphasize the strong beats which happen to be varying up and down beats. Also in marching band when you have literally every instrument playing the same thing there is no reason for trombones to have to put so much energy for no difference in sound when all it does is tire out the player.
Hey, at least you’re actually HEARD 🙄
Bruh they don’t trust the trombones with anything 😂
I would love to see my schools band play this but sadly we have 1 show already
Played Bari sax for 4 months straight this is the first song i learned on alto afterward
beautiful
yes,i like this
An actually fun snare part
bro we had an entire show (mmarching band) on this song parts one two and thre it was great
Very Nice

Self reference - page turn for 3/4 is at 1:21

Concert band version (grade 3) is better :) This still sounds badass tho
Concert band will always sound better
"This is Triplets"
Too much trumpet i can’t hear nobody else when it gets louder
Will you be doing Marc Anthony - Vivir Mi Vida? Congratulations for your work.
anybody else notice it was posted on 911?????
I heard a band play the HTTYD Theme for warm up at a cousins College Graduation. They played it PERFECTLY. Sounded way better than this. It was almost hard to tell the difference from them and the movie. Whereas you can hear a clear difference here
Evan Nagy that’s because this is a marching band arrangement so of course it’s gonna sound different

Wdym?! A lot of people do. Especially since new ones were recently released. I’m almost 17 and still freaking love this movie.
