Since you talked about using lipstick as a cream blush: I have 2 lipsticks left, which are not cruelty free. And one of them is a pretty bold color, to wear on a daily basis and I don‘t really reach for it so I started to used it underneath my fondation, and then I apply my powder blush on top of my fondation. When the powder blush starts to wear off, I still have a nice blush shade on my cheeks that way :D
I've been panning for 6 months now and I find this type of videos really helpful. You gave some great advices, thank you for sharing those tips with us!!
Great tips. I feel like a pioneer, panning my Laura Mercier Tightliner so I went looking just now and I searched on Google and RUclips and I cannot find one person who has ever panned it. Maybe if I look on Reddit, but those things usually come up on Google searches! I am so close now. I've been working on it a year. And now I'm working on some other things, largely inspired by you and Elle and Lauren Mae!
Jenn W I know a girl who used to use it faithfully. And I’m sure she gone through a couple of those before. I just can’t remember her name now. She hasn’t made videos for a while I think. I’ll try to go through my subscription and see if I can find her. She might have some good tips.
Found her! Her username is LaFemme5278. She hasn't made videos in like two year now. And I can't quite figure out in which videos she's talked about the tightliner... So it probably isn't all that helpful. Sorry :(
I’m so happy you decided to share your tips! So excited to see how my first project pan is going to be, I hope I’ll have a lot of progress because I only chose 7 products which are each in different categories ☺️
Great tips! The not getting stressed out is definitely a good point, some products just take longer than the usual 3 months project to get through. I love the analogy of the race, when im running i always follow along behind someone hahah
Haha. I'm not even a runner. I was hesitating saying that because I felt it was like implying I run or something. Haha. I'm like the laziest person on earth when it comes to physical activities.
Thank you for this video, it gives me back some motivation to go through the makeup I'm trying to pan! Sometimes I look at my products and feel like they're never gonna be finished...
thank you, this was so helpful. like you, I also get a bit pumped when I see people who've hit their panning goals but at the same time I'm also a bit, 'dammit! why not me?!'
Hahaha. Trust me. That's also me all the time! I like to look through those pics on Insta right before I go to bed. You don't know how many times I jump out of bed upon seeing a picture. I just had to go see my product to make sure it's the same thing other people hit pan on. I feel I must be panning double the size sometimes. Haha.
You just motivated me to start panning again! I have so many lip products!!! (And other makeup too lol) Also, this video is such a nice de-stressor after work :)
So yea using a balm to moisturize the lips and really is honestly the best for me. I find after eating lunch at work my lipstick is just always jacked up... So complete removal & reapplication is best
So happy you did this video! I'm new to project panning but one thing that's been helping me so far is including skin, hair, and bodycare in my list. Since I use these everyday, it's motivating. I find panning really helpful for knowing how quickly I go thru stuff so I don't buy backups that expire before I could even use them
Y Kimmons I’m so glad you are enjoying project panning! I’ve had a rough start with it. My first year of panning was horrible. But I’m so glad I kept on doing it. Now I finally feel I have my break through. 😆
I don't know if it's really layering but I want to use up two lip glosses, two lipsticks and two lip liners this year and I'm using a lip gloss, a lip liner and lipstick at the same time and I can layer them because they're all a brownish nude!
My lips are dryer and it's hard for me to reapply lipstick thruout the day, moreover am working in a very busy restaurant and have no time to take care of my lip's dead skin 😫, so I would reapply lip gloss during work time that could moisturize instead. Given I have the chance of giving love to different product but I want to finish up those lipstick tho orz
I work in a busy restaurant, too, so I feel ya on not being able to reapply lipstick. On the plus side, I've gone through almost all of my lip balms and glosses in the past year. When I do wear a drier lipstick, I also carry a lip balm in my pocket. When I get a chance to go to the bathroom, I swipe on some lip balm over whatever is on my lips, blot with a paper towel (it takes off the drier or clumpier bits), and reapply the lipstick over it. It freshens up the lipstick, adds a little moisture, and is quick because I don't have to completely reapply
I'm sorry you didn't like project panning. This is just what I like doing and I'm merely sharing it with whoever is interested. And I'm sure there are way more things that are far more exciting and would give more achievement in life. I'm sorry you find this offensive in anyway.

Definitely agree that following panners and tracking progress helps! Its what keeps me motivated
I'm so glad you agree!
The lip balm and liquid lipstick hack is sooooo helpful and this is the first time I've heard of it.
I'm glad it worked out for you!

Nice! Are you gonna post your progress! I'm rooting for your first and successful project pan!

PenelopeYume trust me I know exactly how that feels. But don’t give up. Just keep at it. The pans will come and the empties will come too!
I think these are definitely great tips. I love taking progress photos monthly and its so helpful.
Thank you! I'm almost always shocked at how much progress I can make by looking back some photos. It is definitely useful for me!

Yay! Thank you! It is hard to pan during the pandemic. But I hope you'll find some joy in it!

faeriesmak haha. That’s awesome! That’s the best kind of panning friend!

That's tough. I wish all lipsticks have a moisturizing formula! But at least you are going through your glosses though right?

myoung2328 great tips! Will sure to try
I hate that project pan became the way to make an achivement. This tips sound as PP is the most boring activity ever!
