This is probably my most gruelling fight. Chris was trained by Noel Van Den Heuval who was Ramon Dekkers training partner along with being a top tier champion himself from Hemmers gym. The intensity of this fight was insane, literally from the first bell to the last the action didn’t stop. I broke my hand at the end of the 4th round in this contest, which was the second time on the trot that I’d done it. The first time was against Wangchannoi which was the fight before this. I suffered a lot of hand injuries during this point of my career, they almost forced me to retire....luckily I found away past it.

jen vandamm yeah I broke it at the end of the fourth round if I remember correctly.
