The GT3 driver: 👁️👄👁️
Probably K24 swapped Elise has better Power to Weight Ratio than 911 GT3
this lotus has a faster time than the new gt3 rs so finally the fanboys can stop crying about it 🤣@@Alvon_PR
@@tea.edits.ae. They'll find something else to "attempt" to hang their hat on. Porsche fans are becoming insufferable. If I'm chasing lap times, I'd rather be in something like an Ariel Atom 4, Radical, or build something along the lines of this lotus. If I'm chasing on road luxury I'd rather be in something like an LC500. Porsche sport cars(boxster, cayman, 911) are great cars but their fans make it sound like they're the the best at everything all the time.
@@Alvon_PR Yeah, I believe the HP on these 4Piston built road racing motors are like 360+ hp; so with 15% drivetrain loss it's 300+ whp. Car weighs 1870pounds. That's about 6.2 pounds per horsepower at the floor; new GT3 is 6.4 pounds per hp. So yeah, it's gonna smoke that GT3. Also mid engine > rear engine. Pretty sure they both double wishbone front and back.
The turn in on that car is unreal.
Small lift-off over steer moment at 1:26. Nicely caught!
Unbelievable driving! Would love to see a build walk around video some day. 🤙🏽
100% do it
Agreed on the lap and the walkaround!
Dream build.
Wow that's flying!!! I just did a 1:47 in my 2zz powered Elise and thought that was pretty decent, then I see this. LOL
I love this car
Weapon! Awesome car and drive!
Your build is Soo Cool!
😯 wow! Now you have your reference!
that GT3 needed a cigarette after being f'ed this hard
Holy cow, super fast.
Just subbed.
Yup, my dreams looks just like that
The fuccin SOUND
i wan gr corolla inline 3 with eelctric assited variable vane turbo in thsi kidna limited slip differential rear midengine compact 4 seater , maybe with a cvt option as a more hyperlmilingfcosusded thing
What a car😢
I seen your 1:35 and thought that was hectic but this was 3 seconds faster.
What is the recording software or device you are using?
AIM data logging dash + Smartycam
What's your oiling setup? Its hard work to keep oil pressure in a K elise.
Accusump 2qt
Im thinking about swap but couldn't decide between k20 and 24. What is your reason for 24 ?
Mainly for the extra torque on corner exits, makes a significant difference on race courses
MotoIQ gets 320 reliable hp out of the K24, check it out. @@bobijoe29
Off topic but what is your opinion as a track enthusiast on the 2023 GR86/BRZ?
I’d wait to see if they’ve fixed the oil pan gasket issue that causes the oil feed to clog up and destroy the engine. No point in buying a car that can’t be used to it’s full potential
That is a myth. Zero engine failures have been caused by oil pickup issues. The RTV situation is all bullshit. Do more research. @@21DaHoagie12
I will never forgive Lotus that they aborted the Elise and Exige production.
Hey you got an Electric SUV instead 😂
NHTSA stopped giving them an exception for Smart Airbags in 2011... hence them stopping US production
Blame customers for not buying them. I doubt you'd go too with for free....
Build 4-Piston K24 and only 245whp? Is it detuned for the series rules that you participate in?
Conservative tune for reliability. Dyno chart shows intake improvement could yield more hp, but the car is already pretty fast. No competition, just a fun track day car.
Do you take this car to the track?
That transmission isn't for street use. So very likely a pure track car.
