- Rebekah wants a firewood rack for the front porch. She came up with the idea of making out of the left over beams that were used to build our log cabin. So basically we are going to make a timber frame firewood rack. I think it turned out fantastic.

Hey Evan and Rebekah, what a team !!!👍👍 That wood rack is awesome. Great use of leftover wood from the house build. Looking good around there. Thanks for sharing with us.

Wow, looks great! Don’t forget about that flat tire on the tractor now.🤣
Nice Work. That looks like old-timey construction. the kind that will be around for decades. that was perfect to be built out of the same material as the house so it looks like it belongs there. like it is part of the house.
It looks fantastic great job!
It's beautiful !

Good people doing interesting things. This is an awesome channel!! Got me wanting to sell everything and buy a farm.
Nice wood rack . l think I may build a smaller version for my wood shop .
good job
Wow ! Beautiful work. If you had the extra time, that would make a nice kit that you could sell for good money !!
Nice project
That looks Amazing i love it man i wish i lived on a farm! I'm jealous
Great job on the wood rack, looks good. Did you guys see any big deer this year on the farm? Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God bless
If that were my house wouldn’t be long before I had a broken window....sure does look nice though
Great idea and I may need to copy it. One thing I might have done differently would have been to drive dowels into the stretchers so that the bolts you drove through the upright posts would have something better than end grain to grab onto. End grain isn’t very strong and those joints could loosen over time. Love the channel. I’ve been only watching for a few months and have been going back and watching some of your older videos. Looking forward to seeing the next one 👍
Wood rack: the wood rack looks awesome but one thing you may not have thought about. Miss Rebecca swept up from where the wood was originally stacked.
IDEA: if you were to instal some heavy duty casters on the legs you would be able to move it around to clean up around it or roll it to the back and out of the way during the summer.
Always a thumbs up, love your videos.

It’s should darken up after time 👍👍
To late I saw the flat tractor tire. You guys are so funny...
I really like the fog.
Hello Rebecca & Evan
what the queen bee wants, the queen bee gets! with little ms. helping it will all come together. do not ever discount ms. rebekahs logic, remember, she chose you!.........g
remus haynes strong statement for all women.....she was smart choosing him
Rebekah, you worked you but off, so much so, you have holes in your back pockets! Lol 😂. Sorry catching up.
Thoughtful of you to help your wife out !
You need to wear goggles and use a push stick!!!Safety first!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Why is your roof support hanging off your deck?
What brand of log oil do you use? Great videos. Keep it up!
i think it is called Q8 log oil
I took pictures of it. I hope you don’t mind me copying it
Will the house need the log oil reapplied every few years as well?
Yes, it needs log oil applied. Hopefully next summer.
Welcome to the internet buzzword continuum where 4x6 posts getting screwed together constitutes timber framing
Timber, lumber.... Sounds similar 😊
Looks great 👍
How come no wheels for functionality
Wheels would be nice, but I think it would cheapen the look, unless they were antique cast iron black ones, jmo.
And cast iron would eventually ruin the porch
@@cathiwim, why ?
august they aren’t selling the house !
They are hardworking people that should be looking to help with their chores and making things easier then harder.
@@johnqcitizen9177, When did I say, they were selling ? I like the wheel idea, as long as they were black cast iron.
what color is that log oil?
Medium, gold. Same as the house. It goes on lighter when the wood is sanded.
Time for a window protector of some type.
16 inches wide not lol but I knew what you ment.
The way she was man handling those beams you better not make her mad
not a good idea being in front of the window unless you have a barrier in front of glass, wood can be slippery in winter,
Measure 2x and cut ✂️ once. Please don't edit. That is how I learn, too. Thanks, Rebecca 😇💯☝️😎✂️⚙️🪚🪵🪵😁😆🙋♂️
Not cool to were gloves using the table saw. if the blade grabs the cloth it will take your hand right into the blade.
Hold it tight big gay .
put it front of a window ??????? yea I see NO problems with that
