I work for Givenchy the green and purple is specifically for correcting so if you have redness imperfections discolouration it will blur that out and the other two shades covers the correcting so it doesn't show up green they also have a little luminous and setting they have light reflected partial that you can see like shimmer, I feel your skin looks beautifully with shade 4 than shad 5 shade five is breaking your natural skin tone to look bronzed you could use it as a bronzer that's what I do on my clients
@sharonkour9721 my skin color it’s very similar to hers. I wanted to ask you, how does the #3 compares to #4? I don’t have a Sephora or high end store nearby.
If you don’t mind. I’m curious if I should get # 1 or #4 I have light medium olive skin tone (Mac NC 25 level in winter) and I don’t like the #3 and # 4 because pinks and peaches look horrendous on me. Unfortunately there isn’t a Givenchy counter anywhere near me. Thank you.
You can put tape over the shades of powder you don't like and use only the ones you like for the powders you already purchased .I have light to medium skin and the light powders still work for me !
I think 5 was meant for someone with darker tan or brown skin like me. I think 5 and 6 are the "brown" shades and the pigment is much stronger. I do like the effect 4 has, even if it looks green on the brush. Color 3 might be closer to what you want. I am prone to sallowness, so I think I am going to go for 6, cause 5 has quite a bit of yellow.
I think im going to pick up 4! For anyone confused I finally figured out the green is to correct redness & the blue/purple corrects yellow & then the tan/peach tones are to blend
Thank you so much! Very helpful for me since I bought the first 3 colors, they were all too light. So this video is definitely very helpful. From my experience the only way to dispense small amount powder and even amounts from the 4 compartments is to turn it upside down but with holding the puff on. Also I think the puff applies much better than any brush. Of course this is from my experience. Thanks!
I have to comment again the shade 4 look very chic on you from where I'm looking it looks amazing. If use there puff trust you will see a difference than your regular puff because the puff is designed for the texture of that particular powder try it don't throw it away they are usually good.
Grace, did the packaging not allow for even dispersion. I would try keeping the puff in when you turn the jar over. And see if enough powder comes out on the puff and pick it up there .i think the green just spilled out more. Which direction you turn it probably matters
Oh Grace if only you did this video earlier. 😊. I bought 4 some time ago & always questioned it and whether I liked it or not. Now that I’ve seen 5 I like it better. I don’t mind having both but I just didn’t want to spend the money and find I didn’t like it. So I’m so happy seeing you buying two shades & reviewing since I feel closest your skin color. I’m so happy you reviewed this powder it really is beautiful and looks beautiful on you!!
😊I'm so glad these are helpful. I wonder what you would think of 4 if you block off the green and purple. It might be really nice for the center part of the face ❤️
Hello Gracie. I wear this powder for a long time. I'm pale, mature and normal skin. My colour is the mousseline and work very well on my skin tone and on the lines. I recommend. Thank you for the update on the new colours. Have a nice weekend. Isa
I was just about to buy this, but I loathe messy products, specially if they stain other products in my make up bag, so I don’t know, did you find a way to keep it clean?
Hi Grace, it would be great if you could review more Givenchy makeup? I’ve just bought a 9 pan eye pallet - it’s fab! The powder is good too v soft and fine. Absolutely love your videos, very informative and relaxing 🥰
Hi love I really like your review it’s so hard for me to pick a shade lol but would you compare number 5 to the honey laura mercier setting powder? I don’t want to have a white cast idk if I should go with 4 or just 5. Your the first review I come across that has so much information amazing review. ♥️
My observation only: 5 seems too deep for you. If you have no redness you can remove the green but purple is great for dull looking skin. It may brighten more than you’d like though. I think instead of using the cap I’d shake the box and grab the amount of powder with the brush from each powder compartment, if that make sense, to customize the amount of green/purple vs peachy tone.
🌸You’re so sweet. Thank you so much for asking ☺️ all is well, just getting busy, but I’m trying to get at least 2 out a week. There is another one coming tomorrow though 💕
🌸I've definitely done that before 😊 I wonder if you could use it in different parts of your face. I love using different shades for different parts of my face 😊
I didn’t love either on you. I can still see your dark spots and I’m curious to know what you’ve been loving to cover your dark spots? In previous videos I cannot see your dark spots.
😊 Thank you for your feedback. I usually use more concealer to really cover (Cle de Peau in Mocha & Almond) sometimes I throw in a bit of CT color corrector in medium. Then I'll blur on top with some Hourglass Dim Light and if it's really not working I use a lot of blush then go over it with powder again.😄 I know - it's still a process. I think I've unintentionally become an expert at blurring spots right in the front of the face 😂 and it works well when I really try. What you see is the result of application that I think most people do with skin without dark spots. If I didn't do all of that work, this is how it would normally look. Although it's so much better, it's still more work than normal 😕😔. Oh well - at least its getting better 😊
Everyday Edit I hear you! I have the same spots in the same location and it is a process! I use the Cle de Peau concealer also and it does probably the best job and evening out with the rest of my face, my problem is the powder to set. I’m always on the hunt for the best powder to go on top of the concealer. Thank you for this video and comment! Maybe I’ll try the Dim light powder!!!😁
✨ oh yes! I totally forgot one of the most important powders 🙌🏼 the Chantecaille Blur Powder. Today I used a combination of the Gucci Powder & then finished with the Chantecaille. I’ll be posting a video tomorrow morning that will show this combo. It all worked so well together 🌟
@@23moonchie Oh yes the Hummingbird powder. Do you not like it? Also - I'm not actually applying everything for face makeup since it's featuring an eye palette, but you'll get to see the result 😊

So relieved to see this comment after just purchasing shade 04. I am so excited to try it out ♥️♥️

The lamp shade pairing has not gone unnoticed xx
😄
No4 gives so much freshness and youth to your skin, just amazing💜

5 gives you more color but 4 makes you look more youthful

I love Givanchy powder so far this is my favorite. The only complaint I have is color range and packaging.
very helpful I got 4 and need to send it back because it was way too light

🌟 I love this idea. Thank you so much ☺️ that makes so much sense. I’ll have to try it. Thank you!
I much prefer 4; it gives you a natural look while 5 could be a bronzer.
✨Thank you for your input. I appreciate it 🌸

Everyday Edit That’s a really great idea I’ll try that and see how that works. The two other powders are pretty close to what’s in 5.

🌸Thank you for sharing your experience with the powder 🌟
Can you list some powders that you use for large pores?

💕That 9 pan sounds beautiful. I'll have to take a closer look at it. Thank you so much 😊🌸

Thank u so much helped me a lottt
You are so beautiful like your face is stunning
Not paying attention to what I was buying, ended up with shade 1, beautiful but light
🌸I've definitely done that before 😊 I wonder if you could use it in different parts of your face. I love using different shades for different parts of my face 😊

💜 💜💜💜💜
in my opinion number 4 looks better on you
I like 4 on you.
Please tell us more of what the differences are to you, don't read what we can read on our own.
