I don't think he is completely clueless on fighting games so I'm not surprised he won a few times. Getting familiar with the concept of range and punishing can already net you a few rounds. That , and because it's generally harder to read new players since it's hard to really know what they would do. Eddy has pretty low punishing frames that unless you know what and when to counter with, it's pretty hard to win against. His spinning move has such a low recovery period that even in the training mode, it counts as a follow-up combo.

I'm happy to have received the spotlight for just a bit to show off this amazing game. Thank you for organizing it even if it was pretty last minute. I remember Pleb saying he had got the game just to play with you. I thought it was sweet so I wanted to give him a chance. GGs and I am still the #1 tourney champ.
Tekken 7 is like the biggest fighting game ever it has a big enough player base as it is KI and Soulcalibur VI are games that need some more attention. I mean at least Tekken 7 deserves all this attention tho it's so good unlike SFV and MK11 why people still play those games is beyond me.

I've played both games, and like Tekken more, but I do like the Simplicity of mk, since it easier to learns match up rather than get obliterated by a king player who has millions of throws. Mk is a lot more appealing to people due to how easy it is to pick up, plus they got some nice fatalities.
