300kms yesterday on my Lupina - most comfortable saddle I've ever had. Anything else would have left me walking like John Wayne for the next two months after that!
I've found that short-nose saddles provide everything I need; never find myself using the whole length of a 'full-size' model. Interesting that this one is no lighter than the older, full-size example, though.
I was hesitating for the lupina, but since I couldn’t try it out I skipped it (expensive gamble). Went for the fizik arione vento 00, 118 gram , bit more weight and probably stronger, but very nice saddle. I’m going to try the Galfer 140 rotors though, nice tip.Keep up the good work, professional vids and thanks!
These saddles can crack so easily on the widest point where your inner leg's rub downward. Really comfy but way, way too fragile. Ten hours of use and out of warranty.. Great video as always.
Hi, I’ve bought an used Fizik Arione R1. Everything looks fine, it came with its box and papers but it weights 179g instead of 163. Is a 16g difference normal?

I just picked up my second Lipa, it’s very similar to this short Lupina, but perfect for smaller riders and those with narrow hips.
For the reference, the Berk Lipa 133 padded is 100g on my scale

Pretty normal yes, especially for the “mainstream” brands

I like the new short nose. Perhaps your old one is lighter because you've shaved some material off ;-)
How many have already been broken and replaced by warranty? After reading a thread about that saddle on WW I decided to skip it...
Mine has cracked out of warranty, hardly any use. No more.
they seem narrow - i'm using a spesh power saddle and its 155mm wide - cannot see any width variations on Berk site, which seems odd..
Wonder if maybe this will be less likely to break.
Same weight of ec90/elita one of 25 bucks
Have that one, 95g and actually pretty good for several k km…and 25 bucks as you said 🙌🏽

Short one higher weight limit and oval rails?
Don't think the weight limit has changed.. but could be wrong.
They stopped making round rails a few years ago, everything is oval now.
