- TopWrapz wrapped Volkswagen passat CC in Charcoal matte metallic vinyl wrap. Avery Dennison Supreme wrapping film was used. Gloss black roof and wing mirrors. Tail light tint and full de-chroming.

That is awesome, I have a passat cc and wouldn't mind getting it wrapped. Although I would be freaking out if I saw dirty tyres on my back seats
Colin Heasley haha well spotted! it was november when the wrap was done and customer carried his winter wheels in the car on that time. Dont worry, there were blankets to cover the seats :)
TopWrapz yliteippaus haha it must take some skill to do that. How does the wrap hold out in summer time, like would it blister?
Colin Heasley no it won't. When the installer knows what he or she is doing and premium quality vinyl (such as 3M, Avery or Arlon) is being used, there will be no risks of blistering, popping up or crawl back etc. Wintertime is actually worse for vinyl because a lot of dirt and stone chips flies on the roads that can damage vinyl on the front bumper and hood.... like it would damage the paint.

TopWrapz oh boy, thats a good Question! :D there are a lot of nice Colors! i like that blue chrome, matt anthrazit or some kind of Carbon Look Wrap in Anthrazit! right now, my CC is in Light Brown (original Color from VW)
Franklin chrome is extremely expensive and it's illegal in some countries, like here in Finland. Sounds good!

Your work is so on point! I've seen people leave bumpers on and others remove them. Is it easier to do it without or is this not necessary
thanks! it depends on the color contrast between wrap and the paint, and on the design of the bumper.
some bumpers are difficult to wrap if you don't remove plastic parts etc which can be taken off only by removing the bumper.
Usually it's enough just to let the bumper loose from the edges by removing couple of torx screws but a lot of times I take the whole thing off to get it perfect.

Look for a distributor in your area that sells premium brands like Avery Dennison or 3M.
Don't go with cheap material. Just search from google:)

Hi, thank you for the kind words. Pricing varies, usually around 2000-3000€. A lot of factors effects on the cost. I don't do wraps anymore so not quite sure about todays market pricing.

If I wanted to wrap my car, how would I best deal with the rust spots? I found a little on my rear wheel wells and all four doors on the very bottom tips.. Any advice? I was thinking of chipping off the paint that has rust under it, sanding off the rust and maybe putting a new primer coat on top of it them smoothing it with sandpaper.. It is ok if it looks ugly, as long as it is smooth for the vinyl, right?
rixille Just like that. You just have to work it very smooth. and get a base color that is about the same color as the original paint, so there will not be color differences when the wrap is installed. Dark primer for black car, light primer for white car and so on.
TopWrapz Good to know, thanks! Since I have Ice Blue Metallic paint on my car, I am assuming a white primer is the closest I can get. Have Vinyl wraps been proven to last out in the elements (non-garaged car) and on daily drivers? I see wraps performed mostly on luxury/sports cars; but I was thinking of doing this for my daily driver.

Did you wrap the grille and the emblems as well or did you paint over it?
+Michael B grille is Wrapped, emblems are dipped. Can't wrap those kinds of emblems with good durability.

kiitos! hinta vaihtelee auton ja teippivalinannan mukaan. itselläni normaalisti 1700-2100€ välillä.
Yliteippaus kyllä kestää pitkään, riippuu hieman ajomäärästä, teippivalinnasta ym. Normaalisti 3-4v, mutta siitä ylöskin päin.
Teippausta voi huuhdella painepesurilla, kunhan ei liian läheltä. Mieto pesuaine ja pesusieni puhdistukseen. Monet asiakkaani käyttävät teipattuja autojaan myös autopesulassa, jopa harjapesussa. ei ole ollut kuulemma ongemia.
Jos maalipinta on täysin kunnossa, teipit irtoavat helposti ja turvallisesti. Irroitus kannattaa hoitaa kuitenkin ammattilaisella.

kiitos! Suomessa yliteippaukset ovat hieman tuntematon käsite joten töitä ei ihan hirveästi ole. Varmaan 3v päästä jo aikalailla eri tilanne. Itselläni menee näihin 4-7 päivää, riippuen hieman muista kiireistä ja koko projektin suuruudesta..
