What resistor value it must be for the EOL relay ?

Is it possible the reason you need a resettable power supply is that the smoke detector used a latching relay if some type. This once it latches you have to actually drive it with a reverse voltage or the latch is reset by re applying power?

My panel won't reset after being silenced. I reset all the pulls but it didn't work. Help?

so you open the pull stations, silence it then hit reset? that should be enough to shut them off. if not you might have a smoke detector on the fritz or the panel is having trouble reading the resistor.
