I agree, Monty Hall is the BEST. Unfortunately sometimes Monty gets injured by crazy contestants who gets carried away sometimes. Monty admitted that on a show once.
Buzzr is airing Let's Make A Deal from 1974 Match Game 78 with Robert Walden, Loretta Swit and Richard Paul sitting in Richard Dawson's chair Family Feud from September 1980 and Press Your Luck from May 1984.
@Kissarmy110936. Wayne Brady became the host of the new Let's Make A Deal. I do not know if he is still doing it. No one could measure up to measure up to Monty Hall. Wayne Brady did do something classy and asked Monty Hall to do a week of shows. Monty Hall is pushing 90 and can still make deals. He looked great.
@@williamdunphy352 Unfortunately instead of 2 contestants going for the big deal. This one on CBS only have one contestant going for the big deal. I prefer the one with Monty Hall better.
Are you sure this isn't episode 3? I've seen this on the Family Channel and GSN and this episode was always the fourth one aired from both networks including the ABC nighttime 1970 one as its second. Other than that, I heard of Monty Hall's passing, just 4 years shy of reaching 100. GOD BLESS MONTY HALL, 9-30-2017!
When I was a child in the seventies, a fur coat wouldn’t have generated much emotion in me. Now, I’m repulsed by the thought of one. (The same thing goes for cigarettes. Both my parents smoked (with pops smoking cigars), so there was no avoiding it back then. Now, just a whiff of cigarette smoke makes me see red…)
A very fun and exciting episode, however, two things have me confused. First, after going to the 2 car winners to see if they wanted to trade for the Big Deal and they said "no", he next went to a $710 winner. Then he went to Mercedes who had won over $1,100. Shouldn't he have gone to Mercedes first? Secondly, didn't Mercedes and the other 2 people in that "Follow the Leader" deal all end up with the same amount? Why was Mercedes chosen but the others not given a chance, since they won the same exact amount as Mercedes?
Hawaii in a fur coat?! That doesn't go together! Why couldn't it have been Switzerland instead? One the other hand, two cars were given away in a row that episode.
One of the first things I noticed about this audience is the size of the people. I see few if any large or obese persons in this crowd. Watch an episode of the modern version with Wayne Brady, and the difference is clear.
I actually remember this episode! I was just a kid. Mercedes was adorable.
Loved watching Monty, Carol and Jay when I was a kid. Great show.
So classic! I recall watching this as a little kid.
Monty Hall was the best especially with crazy contestants.

This host has a great sense of humor.
😅😅 fur coat, trip to Hawaii ...awesome 😊😊
5:44 Mercedes goes nuts, after the three contestants won the 2 lounge chairs & the color television.
Happy 94th birthday to the original host of "Let's Make A Deal" Monty Halperin (Hall)

20:50 The best reaction to a "big deal" win on LMAD.
This is why I watch game shows. Happy tears, love to see good people win big.
You do realize the five items that led to the station wagon were ALREADY in the proper order
It is 2007! My mistake. Boy, does time fly! This was the premiere day of LMAD's return to GSN!
This game show premiered today in 1971 in syndication.
5:56 THERE SHE GOES AGAIN 🤣😂🤣

Let's Make A Deal originally premiered on NBC in 1963
Wow I didn't NBC aired Let's make a Deal in 1963
JOLLY TIME popcorn 🍿 wonderful ❤
The first three would put MOE, LARRY, AND CURLY to shame...they were hilarious 😂
No zonks given away on this LMAD episode.
As soon as they presented the fur coat you just knew the trip to Hawaii was next. They are like two peas in a pod.

"Let's Make A Deal" is still on television. Weekdays on CBS.

this episode actually aired December 13, 1971
A chinchilla coat? That would never fly under Barker on TPIR!
These LMAD episodes are from 2008 I believe. I think the date on the disk is June of 2008.
Jay Stewart laughing at this was very funny because of what happened.
Wow, Rath Ham. Company went belly up in the 80s. Long gone
5:56 There she goes again. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
@MatchGameProductions my request is do you have anymore Let's Make A Deal from 1970's to 1980's that you can upload....
Now wait a minute....is that an Amana microwave oven? Well right now, there is still brand new digital electronic microwave ovens.
Lets give her a coat and a trip to Hawaii where she won't be able to wear it.....RIP Chinchillas :(
LMAD debuted in 1964 on NBC, I wonder why it took 7yrs to add a nighttime version.
Afterwards, it was moved to ABC.
The other two rolls had 13 $1 dollar bills in them...he just got mixed up.
9:57 - "$713 dollars was just won" It was $710, i think he gave away it was $13 dollars in the roll.
it's a good thing mercedes took door number one, or she would not have gotten the big deal. smart thinking mercedes.👍👍👍
Simpler times 😊☺️☺️

He went to Mercedes first because it was Mercedes who made the deal that resulted in the best deal of the three.
So that how it works interesting
Hawaii in a fur coat?! That doesn't go together! Why couldn't it have been Switzerland instead?
One the other hand, two cars were given away in a row that episode.

Not the first episode though
Rath ham ?? WTF kinda name is that for ham , does this mean you will feel the Wrath if you eat it
Well, Bob Barker has already put away those fur coats after 1980.
The PLASTIC Real Lemon. How is it real if it's plastic? That always sounded funny to me. :)
